This is the best drawing app I ve used on the iPhone so far It took a while to get used to the features but once I did it was so easy to draw detailed pictures You definitely should know how to work with real artist quality colored pencils to get the best out of this app as it emulates real life drawing almost perfectly It s too bad there haven t been any updates for over a year                     My favorite drawing app Zannu-chan

I really like this program and it tis the only one like it I could find other than children s apps The buttons are a bit small The only thing it lacks is the abbility to blend or smudge a color such as in black and white I will make good use of this Well thought out and designed Please add a smudge smear blend tool then it would be perfect I seached apps for weeks to find this It does save to photo album roll This was one reason why I hesitated buying I like to save to photos I gave it a four star because it needs a blending tool                 Nice don t hesitate to buy Carmylita

This is an exceptional app I have tried most of the competitors which tend to be very unsophisticated suited only for doodling or crude drawing Not so Colored Pencils which offers a level of subtlety and nuance that will satisfy even a professional illustrator It is very intuitive to use and there is virtually no learning curve You have the ability to draw freehand onto a blank paper or turn a photo into a black and white line image which can then be modified The layers facility is very clever allowing you to build an illustration from a rough sketch adding many layers Beware this app is very addictive It s a wonderful way to while away time while waiting for a plane                     Michelangelo would have loved this app 4167

If you like to draw you ll love this app I have tried several apps for artists on the iPad ArtSudio and Procreate to name a couple good ones but when it comes to drawing I keep on returning to this app The interface is minimalist but complete It helps with your drawing rather than getting in the way The pencil selection is quick and fun to use And the performance is very good There is very little lag when drawing Something I cannot say about the other apps I use a stylus for architectural drawings and never miss a corner If you like drawing from photos there is even a photo outlining feature to get you started This is not an app for all illustration tasks to it s credit it doesn t try to be but for free hand drawing in my opinion it is the best                     Fantastic app for drawing Hervie123

This app is well worth the money Specific colors can be very easily found and the images it creates are anti aliased So far I ve found that drawing anime manga on this app is very easy I haven t tried a realistic drawing yet but I can imagine that it won t be too hard This program has exceeded my expectations by a mile and then some One suggestion I have for the next update is a blending tool But this is a great program I d recommend to anyone who loves to draw It is definitely better than some computer drawing programs that I have tried                     Recommended to anyone who loves to draw with the effect of colored pencils Youwillneverknow2

I love this app and I use it more than any of my other drawing and painting apps I don t know what it is but I prefer to use it than Inspire Pro ect I mean don t get me wrong their great apps but I think Colored Pencils is simple and easy for you to create anything from simple stick people to even beautiful flowers and the cherries which are used as an example Now I just noticed how long this review is so I m not gonna say much more but get this app P s I feel so bad about the tragedies that happened in Japan And the nuclear ones that are still happening right now                     awesome 16feather

The application freezes I lose all my drawings when I go for a new page all I get is a dark screen no page just a dark screen I have re install and I lose all my data Working with the pencils is actually fun but I don t have anything to show for it     Unhappy Castillopatsy

I have complained about the bug yesterday Today morning I ve got the email from Mr Watanabe with the apologies and reassurance he was fixing it ASAP I was very impressed by the level of customer service and the dedication Anyone can make a mistake However it tells a lot about an individual or a company the way the mistake is handled BTW this is a great app with no other like it on the market                     update 4 3 1 Ms. Jedi

I love this app because it looks like I m drawing with colored pencils naturally not on a computer I had been waiting to get it because I wasn t sure Then I purchased it and it exceeded my expectations I use the history pallete every time I use it It remembers which specific pencil I ve used at a previous session so that if I go back to work on a sketch it remembers that I was using a light blue color at 02 and I can pick up where I left off                     Love This App luckycat7777777

This is perhaps one of my most favorite drawing apps for the iPad The pencils perfectly mimic the texture of the real thing The only thing that I don t like is the tendency of the lines to become jagged when using quick long sweeping strokes so I hope that this problem will be fixed on the next update I give it 4 stars for the great User Interface ability to Import Export drawings choose different canvas sizes and delete a drawing from within the app Highly recommended to artists and casual doodlers alike                 Wonderful EbiNemu

The UI is well thought out I really like the pencil picker The colors are laid out from light to dark and makes it easy to pick a different tone and size at the same time opacity is right next to the picker The only complaint is that when you make a drawing in landscape mode the tools don t rotate You can still access the tools easily but it would be nice if the tools could always be at the top and bottom no matter which way you hold the ipad If you could fix that I will give it five stars                 Really cool amdovsen
