I use this to build graphics images for emails It has reduced images to a fraction of the size I usually compress 5 50 images at a time It has never crashed on me One feature I d love 1 preference for default compression level OR 2 remember my last used compression level Great app                     Use consistently for Email graphics compression goode-design.net

This app is HORRIBLE I couldn t open any of my files to compress I tried other compressing apps and I DID NOT have that issue Definitely won t be recommending this     Horrible Bri098989

this app provide the capability to save your compressed files to one location Instead each time you compress images it forces you to save to a new folder The result is that I have dozens of folders named compress on my system making it very confusing to find the right folder It seems like this should be an easy fix and if I were able to save all of my compressed images to the folder of my choosing without having to create a new folder each time I run the app this would get 5 stars It app does what it says though It will compress your image files significantly                 Could get 5 stars if only TheCatnipTimes

I bought this app to help with compressing screenshot images taken on a 5K retina iMac They were 10MB each and after a few simple adjustments based on how much compression I wanted versus quality degradation it compressed them and put them into a Compress folder within the original images folder I take issue with the reviewer who gave one star based on it putting the new images in a separate folder in the same location as the original images It s an unfair review and hurts the quality impression of what I feel is a very good app I have used it to compress over 100 images so far and it hasn t crashed once nor have any of the images had any issues This is exceptional software at its finest well done developer                     Truly Excellent and Simple Batch Image Compression Software JGFox

Bought it to compress various files with the same name in different location The application could not do that even if i tried proccessing the files individually Granted the app didn t promise to do that but still I was unsatisfied with the limited saving capabilities I feel I ve wasted my money         Can t save to same location sveinbjornp

With Yosemite s Preview app not actually compressing images now I needed a way to do the job Even if Preview wasn t broken I prefer Compress I gives you a slider and displays what size ithe image will be and shows a preview Before and After The batch processing works well you just have to go the Compress folder then drag the edited image to its desired location                     Works great PilotJimL

Had a Pages newsletter document 32MB that I needed to compress for emailing Had lots of pics in it After unsuccessfully trying various means to get it compressed I hopped on the App store looking for some help Found this program and gave it a shot I was able to quickly reduce the newsletter file size to 3 MB And there really is NO appreciable difference in the photo quality for the newsletter This was 5 99 well spent for my purposes                     Quick easy gets results DaveinBG

Good for batch Compression and the slider is useful the only thing I would love to see is a resolution slider if you want to resize the picture in conjuction with the compression Untill then I use Automater Photo Shrink for the resolution scale then I use this app for the compression If this gets an upgrade 5star rating here we come                 Nice just one thing Mica-El

Used it for about 15 minutes and its very impressive very easy to use App is very responsive doesn t use a lot of resources and works as adverties Few minor UI tweaks and I would rate it a 6 I post a lot of small pictures online and this app is a lot easier to use then preview or lightroom Great job                     Awesome kalex1

I have to make maps for customers all day Often my customers cannot accept large emails I ve tried compression zip tools and even stuff like Dropbox but what I really needed was a way to compress images with minimum impact to readability Compress has been a god send This program is amazing and smiple You just grab the picture drag it to the icon and it compresses it I routinely compress maps that are more than 10Meg down to less than 500k and they still are very readable I never once read any documentation It is crazy easy to use VERY fast and works like a champ Thanks for making exactly the program I needed                     I LOVE This little Program TominTulsa
