excellent resource a must for understanding todays changing technologies                 gotta have it

This reference gets to the important points quickly without a lot of technobabble but the technical terms are also explained well and easy to understand I love the illustrations                 Really helps you learn

Ive used other encyclopedias and google search in my technical research but I tend to get swamped with useless and more useless info This one gets it right everytime and updates every 23 months Good stuff                 Finally

Useful but dont like the fact that the PC Mag encyclopedia is the same info by the same company but cost 2 more Id have given it 3 stars otherwise I do like the graphics but its a little slow on my iPhone 4S     Useful but dont like the fact that

Unlike other iDictionaries this one seems to have a lot of information but you can only access it by searching I like using the lists that other computer dictionaries have This one has a lot of terms but there were a number of terms I couldnt find that others had        Not that impressed

Even tho Ive been computer literate for 25 years theres still so much to know and this app helps make sense of the mumbo jumbo of the hightech world thats always changing at breakneck speed Every question you might have is clearly answered Get it                 Must have for every computer or smart phone user

The older one was a great app I just got the new version and found out that it doesnt have a browse function anymore I LOVED that function as it let me explore new terms that I didnt know existed also it was useful when I sort of knew what I wanted but couldnt for the life of me remember the name Put browse back and the final two stars are yours           What happened to the browse function

Ive been an avid fan of the Computer Desktop Encyclopedia since day one back when it was The Computer Glossary Ive gone from the print version to the PC version and the Mac version on HyperCard and now to the iPhone version Im not disappointed at all This version is clear concise and fast A previous version was self contained including all the graphics and illustrations This version is much more compact and loads graphics on the fly so it takes up less space on your iDevice As has been the case since the beginning Mr Freedmans explanations and definitions are clear concise and understandable He has a talent for distilling abstract terms into laymans terms This is a reference that nobody who has an interest in technology should be without Keep up the good work Two thumbs way up                 Long time user
