The fact that the print version of this book is in its 19th edition tells you something The book is a must have for clinicians and epidemiologists who need to look up a communicable disease in a hurry So I wish I could always have the book near me Seeing it as an app for my iPod Touch was a wish come true The concept of making the book available for handheld devices is outstanding The iPod Touch interface makes it easy to find information rapidly This is a case where even though the downloadable version is pricier than the print version its worth it I dont need to be near my bookshelf to consult the iPod Touch version and I can look up a disease faster on an iPod than in a book Only concern Installation was rockyat least for me When I first tried to use the book on my iPod Touch I got an error message I had to wait til the next day during business hours to call Unbound Press support number At first I got a recording with a request to leave a message I tried again a few minutes later The support staff quickly led me through a solution Im not sure what happenedbut Id recommend going through the installation process very slowly very carefully              Outstanding but installation was not smooth
Great app and well worth the money All the features of the print book with easy navigation I really like having this book with me                 Worth it
I use this text for the Masters students in my course The additional services provide an excellent resource with this for their studies
Needed current CCDM on first day at a new clinic This App fills my needs                 Invaluable
This app can be a real pain in the It can only work on one device either your phone or your iPad not both and if you want to transfer from one to the other you have to call support and get their permission and have them reset things Honestly why not let me read it on my iPad or my phone whichever I have with me I just moved up to iPhone 6 and wiped my iPhone 4 clean Now I have to call the support phone to get them to allow me to see this on my new phone This is not cool All other apps allow to be installed on your multiple devices and this app is way behind the times This app also has a lot of redundancy in how it displays topics which can be confusing I like the content but overall being forced to call the support phone and not being able to view on my other devices brings this app way down in stars        Required to call supportbad
As an Infection Control Practitioner this resource is indispensable Every ICP should have this application you probably have the text on your bookshelf but now you can carry it anywhere you go The complete text is available at your fingertips Installation was very easy you need to purchase the subscription and register on the website Once you do that you enter your username and password into the App and off you go super easy I would highly recommend this for anyone in the public healthmedical profession The Search feature could be a bit more robust typing in Shingles didnt produce any meaningful results but if you type Varicella you go to VaricellaShingles Also including picturesdiagrams would be appreciated For example when trying to determine if Shingles is disseminated being able to pull up a diagram of dermatomes would be a bonus              Invaluable Resource for Infection Control in Healthcare
