Cooking Basics is very basic but who doesnt need a refresher now and then You learn basics and skills and there are recipes to hone your new skills If too basic I also love Mr Bittmans How to Cook Everything Kitchen Companion or iPad which has a bigger variety of recipes Both apps are very well done Cooking Basics

I bought this app thinking it came fully loaded with all the bells and whistles sadly I found out that it had non of the recipes I wanted so I basically paid for nothing I wish there was a way to know what recipes were available before purchasing Very limited

I downloaded this and immediately used it I am a reasonably accomplished home cook but found some tips and ideas here that will get me back in the kitchen A because it isnt perfect Recipes are mostly quick and easy to execute and explanations are precise enough so that the cook can feel good about trying them Bittmans voice is good to hear too on occasion Recommended for every level except the very very advanced Bittman in good form app clever

The cooking basics app has striking photos graphics and is super easy to navigate It is a great reference tool for delicious recipes and step by step techniques My favorite features are the shopping list notes and photos Im always writing in my cookbooks and now I an add photos and especially the timer built into the recipes The classes are a bonus you dont get with the book Great app Highly recommended Beaut Get cooking

Worse cooking app Ive ever seen So basic its boring if you want a better recipe you have to buy another app easier and Cheaper to Google for the recipes you want How to cook everything
