Drawing is essential in notes professors draw all the time cant do it in here the box is too small You should be able to draw right onto the page        You should be able to draw into the page not brring up a little sction just to draw fix it please

I have used this note taking app for my college classes the last two semesters but the longer I use it the more frustrating it gets The app is constantly crashing while I am taking notes and when I reopen the app I find that I lost everything I just typed up The interface is kind of annoying too When you get to the bottom of the page it does not show what you are typing so it can be difficult to take notes at that point        Very frustrating note taking app

Main disappointment is that Dropbox interface is only for export there is no import Did not find my printer on the network requires an AirPrinter In app advertisement appears to be the main focus Once you click Premium content it is hard to get back Navigation is not intutive     Disappointed with the product

Program is easy to organize sync with mac is very fast                 notes

I ordered this app for making notes at various work sites Its not what I wanted I wasted my money There needs to be a way to test some of these apps     Not what I wanted

This is a great app there is mo lag in typing which I have experienced in other apps I just wish that it had auto correct but other than that this is awesome                 Great App

Ive been using Coursenote for over two years and Im not sure why Ive hung in there this long I guess Im addicted to potential The Coursenotes UI is decent and I like being able to create note sessions under subjects but the positives pretty much stop there First user support consists of a skeletal FAQ and a Facebook page While the developer has generally been responsive when Ive emailed the lack of a forum for users to be able to troubleshoot with one another is really outdated Second the lack of cloud syncing is really behind the time and a hindrance to using the app across a number of devices Once I finally got the sync to work after a number of uninstalls it turns out that iPad syncing overrides notes on your other devices All my updated notes on my desktop were gone Luckily I had them also on my laptop but that leads to flaw number three Third the backup is to HTML which means opening a backup just brings up a poxy webpage I guess you can cut paste your notes back into Coursenotes but as Sweet Brown says I aint got time for dat Fourth theres no way to import a backup into Coursenotes At least if one could do this cloud syncing wouldnt be as much of an issue but still necessary Fifth the ability to attach a pdf or jpg is a joke It only displays the first page or one page Whats the point I dont know if the developers listen to feedback or are just busy working on another app but lets be clear at this stage in the app game people are starting to recognize app developers by their reputation If you put out unsupported crap dont think people just wont notice when you release you next app Ill be using Evernote from now on Its not as pretty but its functionality covers all these bases     Tried to hang in there but this app is in perpetual beta

This app is a subpar note taking app Its sole advantage over the competition is the fact that the same company produces a Mac version of the app as well One of the main reasons that I want to switch from my Mac for taking notes in school is that I want to be able to take notes in subjects like math and science that require writing formulas and other diagrams I wanted to be able to write these but when you select the attach handwriting button you cant write directly on notes another weakness you are given a small Id say 3 inch by 3 inch square to write and draw on for the entire note Not only this but the outline bullets are very hard to activate I do however like the organization of notes into classes and sessions That is very helpful for me as a student If they change the two things that I mentioned above this app would be 5 stars but it is currently crippled by those weeknesses        Not very good

This app is very functional The app allows items to be uniquely divided and is excellent for note taking and organization I gave it four stars because there is always room for improvement              Really functional

Its a lie I wasted three dollars for a lie I DEMAND A REFUND     You CANT sync to iPad calendar

SO FRUSTRATED This is a great app but it keeps crashing and losing all the notes Ive taken Auto save is a must Needs auto syncing when you connect ipad to your computer ability to link to documents on ipad ie word etc better predictive text Searchable notes ability to import ppt and pdf files as notes and auto format for continuity Could use More icons for subjects Multiple filings for the same note session ie by date and note titles              Great app but has flaws

The format for Coursenotes aids in organization based upon subject and date The ability to insert pictures into the notes is helpful I wish that notes were not limited in length and that the outline function was simpler Id still recommend this app because it keeps notes organized              Good Basic Note taker

I love the app and have been using it for years My only complaint is that you have to add a a separate part to draw I would prefer it if you could draw directly on your notes              Nice but

This app is promising because it offers a great interface for organizing notes by course etc It looks nice and the developers seem to be keeping up to date with the latest hardware support Unfortunately this app has so many small bugs that its very frustrating to use I have been struggling to use it for all my classes and despite the promising functionality it isnt ready to store anything critical So far Ive had it crash multiple times from changing formatting for example making a bullet list and then trying to add a return midline in a bullet point crashes the app and deletes your entire note I guess Im just lucky it didnt delete ALL my notes Please fix the formatting glitches guys        Promising but buggy

Im a senior in college and this app really makes notetaking easier Strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a notetaking app              Great for Class

Love this app it has done wonders for me but if your note session becomes to big the app starts stalling and exaturating your words ie hhhoooowwww aaaarrreeee           Love it but has some bugs

It would get more stars if it would update on occasion Automatically syncing with something like evernote would also be much appreciated           Pretty Good

Using it at Assemblies and Conventions while listening to speakers My note taking with this app on the iPad is much better than in the past with pen and paper I have terrible hand writing Loving this app                 Love it for long not taking sessions

Im working on my second masters and I have to say that if you enjoy having your notes erased after writing them out buy this app Other faults Mailing notes to yourself gives a blank page so good luck sharing with peers No select all function and the interface is so clumsy that you cant select by hand No ability to undo an erasure of text when the clumsy interface covers your notes with an image Hours wasted Thanks CourseNotes I am uninstalling this app time now Get something else     Worst Note Taking App Ever

This was the exact thing i was looking for I use my ipad for school and i needed a way to organize each subject Each subject you can write that days title down and go back to that title and make changes Or you can just review that title You can make as many titles as you want and write how ever much you want Works great GET THIS APP                 EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

The only complaint I have so far is that I want indented bullets when I tab over using my keyboard Why is this not a feature Its something that is so basic           Pretty good

App continually crashes on my iPad 2 running 701 causing me to lose my notes I have been taking all class Unacceptable     Not a polished app

This is about the most unintuitive app Ive ever encountered Ive managed to figure out how to take notes but thats about it Everything else one is supposed to be able to do with it I cant figure out how to do The Help is most Unhelpful and obtuse Im not the most able techie around but i can figure out most apps Not this one though Look for something better Im sure its out there     A Ripoff

This would be a great app if it didnt continually crash Im running it on an iPad 2 ios 704 and it crashes at least 3 times a class and loses any notes Ive taken since the last save I now save more often but when you save your notes they close so you have to reopen them which makes you lose track of whats being said in class As much as I like the app when it works its not worth it to me to lose my notes all the time        Crashes

I love the UI of this app its got a great layout and overall design It is however unfortunately very buggy in both its Mac and iOS forms Trying to edit text after its been typed can often crash the app on iOS and editing text on the Mac app often makes glitches the app and forces the user to restart it to resume normal functionality Additionally the method of syncing for these apps isnt very helpful especially now that it works across all of my apple devices Give us iCloud syncing and this app will earn four stars The whole idea of syncing anything with an Apple device at this point is so that its done without even thinking about it with iCloud Fix the bugs AND give us iCloud functionality and youll have a fivestar app here           while it has great potential quite disappointing

The app looks nice But when using it you can see that it does not record voice notability does and you cant take a picture from the app itself notability can do this too If you are buying this because of the mac integration then it is a good idea Be aware that you will note be able to have these advantages By the time you are reading this you might as well check in the mac app store if notability has an app for the mac and it would be a much better purchase Or you could send an email to the people from notability to move then forward in making a mac app I wouldnt say the app is bad but you would expect that for the price paid you would receive much more Course note developers keep on going There is still a LOOOOOOONG way to go but you are in the right direction        The app looks nice at first

Im really enjoying this application I take my notes on it regularly it connects well with my keyboard and I love it Wish that it would spell check for me and I also wish that it would alphabetize the courses so that it would be easier to find them when I have a long list but I really like it a lot Great app and well worth the money              Loving this app

The Good This app does a good job to help organize my notes from different classes Not only does it separate classes but it also organizes the notes for recency and you can rename the note sessions for quick access to a specific note that you need to refer to The MacApp sync is good Works like a charm just open up on both devices and click the iPad icon and its all synced up The Bad When you are making bulletstyle entries the program does some very annoying things For instance when you delete a bullet it doesnt just delete the bullet it moves the whole line up to join the previous bullet and is very difficult to get it to how you want it Acts like a Microsoft program when using bullets if you know what I mean Also when your writing goes off screen like when you fill up a note page sometimes it adjusts for it and sometimes it doesnt This gets old quick when in lecture and the blabbering prof is actually saying something important Overall Im not happy with this app The formatting issues should be the most important update for the developers and seems like it would be easy to fix Dear developers BULLET LISTS SHOULD WORK Everyone else DO NOT BUY THIS APP until the reviews for formatting are good        DO NOT BUY Developers please read

This is a great app I just entered in my notes from a class from before I got this app and the ability to have a vocabulary list for terms is great as well as the ability to add drawings to your notes is fantastic However when I try to write using the pen provided the response time is awful The line I draw comes in a second or two after I draw it with my finger I would also love to have more list features such as outlining and indentations It would also be great to have it retina display optimized              Great but could be better

This app is a GREAT IDEA but it doesnt fully perform as promised Frustrating as hell     Poor performance

Looks are not bad but I got it for its functionality Defiantly needs iCloud sync I would like to eventually see a text box in the in the drawings area not just on the side Maybe some symbols and shapes capability inside the sketch area as well for example arrows circles ovals pentagons You get my point Maybe sneak it in to the notes part and not the sketch area Other than that its a very useful and productive tool for me in school

Coursenotes has been my main note app for multiple semesters With the way it syncs with my Mac to the recent redesign that makes it easier to use than ever its a great app that I would recommend to anyone in college                 Amazing App for School

Ive been looking for an app to take notes using the iPad instead of a laptop The downfall of using a laptop to take notes in class is that if youre in a class where drawing charts or molecules or formulas is crucial then youre going to have some difficulty getting that on the laptop The iPad allows you to type your notes out but also draw directly on your notes and this app is the only one I could find that does this perfectly After getting used to the format of the app it becomes an excellent notetaking program                 awesome note taking app

This app would be wonderful if you could see note titles directly Instead they are organized by date and you have to go inside the date to find the notes This makes the app almost useless unless you have a photographic memory Please fix this Let us access notes directly     Good except
