This used to be a great app Now it crashes right when you open it every time Please fix     Constantly crashes

Dont waste your time This app either freezes shuts down or wont open ALL the time It will cause you nothing but frustration Cox should be ashamed Very sad Even with constant updates it never gets better     Terrible App

1 if you do not have an iPad 2 or newer dont bother installing this app The minimum IOS requirement is like many in the App Store a lie This app will install but wont work on your older device To be clear The old version worked poorly this one wont work at all 2 if you have the old version of Cox Connect it wont work any more either so you can uninstall it if you need space 3 if you just watch news and series and you have an iPad 2 or newer youre much better off just getting rid of your Cox cable and using local station apps and Hulu or whatever Cox does a pretty poor job of keeping their ondemand stuff uptodate and doesnt have older episodes at all For the extra cost of getting Cox Contour per month you can pay for Hulu and half of Netflix It seems like there is space in the market for cable providers like Cox to deliver value in both content and service and charge a premium for it but I guess they have a better idea 4 if there are sports or current shows that you want to watch on your perfectly functional older device youre pretty much hooped Just run on out and buy whatever hardware they tell you to buy You have no say in the matter so just let the Wookie win     User tips for Cox app

I have an iPad 1 This version of TV Connect has NEVER worked for me Opens then crashes Just another one of the many COX problems Ive had over the years     Has Never worked

Wow Cox Is this really the best your programmers can do The video andor audio halt about every 20 seconds When they come back the audio is most often not synced with the video The extremely poor quality of this ap does not allow for actual viewing of TV                 Incredibly Poor

Im very frustrated with Cox about losing this apps I talked to 3 different people on my iPhone using over an hour of my mins to no avail They had me on hold most of the time knowing that they have a problem After that they blamed Apple advised me to contact them BS     I never knew this side of Cox Im not happy

The app launches gets to the tv listing screen which is blank then in a few second crashes Latest update crashes too     crashes on iOS 5

I delayed getting the update because the reviews were so bad Then it said the old version was no longer supported and I HAD to update New version would not open it just kept crashing Tech support says for the update to work you have to have iPad2 or higher even though the specs say it works with IOS 50 or higher So for those of us who cant fork out the money for a newer iPad Cox says too bad so sad Really crappy way to treat long time loyal customers     What a load of crap

The old app worked fine so why force us to update And those of us that still have a perfectly good iPad 1 are screwed because we cant upgrade past iOS 5 Typical Cox BS     Old app worked

I have done all of the upgrades except replace my IPad and have followed all of the help desk suggestions and it still does not work It starts by saying there is another App for a newer IPad but that it is still supported by 43 or higher I have 511 so should be good You push OK it loads only to shut off before you can start to click a channel to watch Useless and frustrating     This App Stinks

Have been having issues with Cox re TV phone and Internet and this is pretty much the end or me     Another reason to dump Cox

This was my review for the version of 12152014 I was foolish to think that this upgrade would improve the unreliable performance of this app I am having the same issues as others in particular the app crashes after a few seconds I was doubly foolish to attempt to resolve this problem by calling support I was bounced around to FiVe different people and then disconnected without receiving any help after describing this problem When I called back I was sent to a fee based Cox Solutions person who knew nothing about how to address this issue as he admitted From reading the other comments it is evident that support did not want to deal with this T he third call and SEVENTH person I spoke to told me it was a software issue When I said yes it is your software that is not working he gave me no assurance that Cox would fix this problem Added upon upgrade of Feb 9 The application still does not work Not At All Totally FAILS TO WORK My device is an ipad 1with IOS 522 which can receive other video content perfectly     Bug FIx NOT

I really give it 0 stars but had to pick 1 to let me post This app is ridiculous It will never work You need to constantly reboot your modem and deletereinstall the app I truly despise Cox Communications but we have no other options in our area Getting to tech support is a joke you need an entire day to reach someone who has no idea what they are doing Then they want to charge you when their products fail to work effectively all after paying outrageous prices for their service What service     Worthless never works

App is very buggy and at times refuses to show any tv shows or when it does there is no sound no clear way to get tech support on this     Nice concept but super buggy

App completely shuts down since the last update in December Called Cox and they did everything to not admit theres a bug in this update They had me go through all the usual nonsense like pinging the cable box router etc I pay for this service and cant use it Why is cox always last when it comes to offering new features to customers Get on the ball already     Fix this

The old apps were perfect lots of bells and whistles that do not work well     Not user friendly
