There is no other choice for cable TV in most of Lafayette LA This is the only reason Cox is in business here Trying to find any help to be able to search programming without using their worthless remote but even their app offers no help What a joke this company is With less app just like all Cox service
The point of this app should be to allow one to watch tv when they are not at home People these days have at least 2 TVs at their homes i have 4 why in the hell would I want to use my phone to watch TV This should allow one to watch their cable channels on the go like at work or when one travels I am out of town and just downloaded it expecting to watch some news and stuff but I am super bummed out that it requires me to be connected to my home internet I would give it less than one star if i could IT IS UTTERLY HORRIBLE Have to be connected to home network
Being able to watch from you device is great Cox really fails by not allowing to access the content when youre not connected to your home wifi I dont plan to keep this service and will take my business somewhere that allows me to access everything from everywhere I am Good idea terrible execution
The Direct TV App is far more superior You cant even use your phone as a remote with this App Awful

This app worked great the first month or two Now when I am in my house the app says that I can only watch if I am connected to my home network This has been happening for a while now so I am about to just give up Worth it if and when it works Can watch my shows while my daughter hogs the TV with Disney and Nick Was great
FINALLY Figured out why I couldnt log n anymore always said I have wrong ID or Password I have an iPhone and use SwiftKey3rd party keyboard when ever I use this it never works properly even putting in email address is finaky So I just used regular keyboard and it worked after months So make sure you use regular keyboard n it should b fine Rizz

I have had this for a year or so and just recently moved but changed nothing but my address I have premier service and ultimate Internet and when I sign in it tells me I dont have the correct service and Contour is just crap and doesnt work at all Told the people in the cox store and nothing done about it I have the right service

This Cox app doesnt have every channel available for live streaming but still has a pretty good selection of channels to choose from Its crashed on occasion but for the most part works seamlessly Having 2 jobs I dont have the time to plunk down on the couch in front of a TV all day This app allows me to watch a little TV before bed on my iPhone making my 160 bill that much easier to swallow Thanks Cox Not bad
Ask the app to do something and it just Spins and Spins And SPINS So slow getting data I am on an a device would 802 11 C A router with 802 11 C And the app just Spins Wich make just using the app so frustrating Spinning

The app has two Places to turn off closed captioning Neither selection will stop closed captioning The report feedback form In the app needs a feedback type to be selected before he form can be submitted The form doesnt have a feedback type They probably think their app is amazing because no one is submitting feedback This app has not been well designed developed or QAed Why not allow external monitors or AirPlay steaming This app only displays video when on a home network Why limit beaming to a larger screen if we already know the people are at home Its not like this could be used to show cable outside the house due to its archaic home internet connection requirement Open AirPlay Cox is leaving the door open for the coming streaming competition to steal a lot of customers Buggy app poor support

Tired of having to delete and reboot this app on a daily basis Why cant you fix the errors I paid you way much to have to deal with these problems 31515 now tells me Im not connected to my Wifi even though my iPad and iPhone show connected and gives me error code 124 Cox Im about ready to drop you because of overprice and poor service To many problems
This app is not terrible but I wouldnt exactly recommend it either When its not having a tantrum or crashing it works very well I am having to constantly close the app and restart and many times I have to relog in because despite checking the save my log on info box my information isnt saved I would love to see some updates address these issues Crashes Constantly
all of a sudden I dont have the right service Stop giving me free religion channels and fix the stuff that I pay for Cox Ugh Worked badly for 3 years and now not at all
