Like many other reviews our assure link worked fine for a couple of months Now the app crashes every time I try to open it and the push notifications quit working Nice when it worked but will probably spend money elsewhere on the next unit        App crashes

I like the concept a few tweaks to refine the app but right now I would be happy if it didnt keep crashing        App keeps crashing

Had the app for several months and it worked perfect loved it and was very reliable but starting this week the app wont load at all and just quits out of it after like 5 seconds please fix this craftsman because I loved how it use to work perfect     Worked perfectly but now its just force quitting

The app has stopped working completely You can access the website via your mobile browser to operate the opener but the app is completely worthless     Worthless

This app stopped working after the recent iOS update 84 The app crashes when trying to load Reinstalling the app doesnt correct the issue Please fix     No longer works

Push notification did not work with IOS 84 on my phone but it was working on my ipad running 812 Now on both devices the app crashed every time So sad Craftsman was a good name     Now the unit stops working

This app worked reliably then just stopped working yesterday It crashes immediately on opening it Tried everything including uninstallingreinstalling Do not buy a Craftsman opener for this app like I did What a waste of money PLEASE FIX IT SEARS     App Crashes No Support Junk

Worked great for the first 9 months Suddenly the app crashes on all my familys phones Something with my account kills the app Figure this out Sears Throw an intern on this and itll be fixed in an afternoon           App changed

I have had this system operating on my house for over a year and I really like it However a recent update seems to have messed it up so that it wont log in anymore just kicks me back to my iPhone main screen Please fix I rely on this thing to work              I love it if only it wasnt buggy

The app does work however I dont get push notifications Sometimes I get an error that says the hub is offline but then I try it again and it works I have to look into if there is any type of grade for the assurelink hub itself But it does allow you to open and close the door and be alerted via email the activity Would be cool if they could setup some type of alert if it detects motion           It works could use some upgrading and fixes

App worked great up until late May then feature by feature quit working now it will only open for a few seconds and close Fix this The only reason I bought the door opener     What Happened

Not sure what others problems are but the assurelink and app have worked fine so far I get my notifications and all the events I set up are listed accurately              Works fine

If you sign into your Assurelink account online and change the name of your garage door from Null to a name of your choice save changes and then open the app it works fine No more crashes                 App works fine

Being in IT I thought after first getting this setup that the bad reviews were due to people not knowing how to use it I had the app setup so I could see the status quickly and only when I needed to open or close the door did it ask me for my code It has been great and I have used it remote many times to allow people in over the past three weeks Then this morning when I launch the app it will crash back to the home screen every time This is not due to a new iOS release as I had been using iOS 84 since June 30th and it is just now failing as of July 7th Im going to contact Craftsmen and if they cant give me a date for resolution we will be moving to a more reliable system     Worked Flawlessly then Failed

Yes you can open and close your door Thats it Alerts dont work and it beeps annoyingly when you close your door from the app No way to disable     Worst app in the App Store

I had the Craftsman garage door opener with AssureLink installed last September It actually worked fine until the recent iOS update I no longer receive text alerts that the door is opening and closing but I do receive emails which are not as effective I called the AssureLink phone number for the app Sears and was was told that they do not manage the software She gave me the number for Chamberlain When I called Chamberlain he asked how long I had the unit Because I have had it over 90 days the problem belonged to Sears Hmm When I called Sears back the guy was shocked Thats not right Chamberlain owns and manages the software Soooodo I just have to be happy with email alerts Any ideas           Scary Reviews

I have had this since 2013 and its been the same issues since From day one it was a problem Works great all of a sudden stops working And then again works great all of a sudden stops working No updates since 2013 Its been two years what the heck Fix it already My garage keeps opening by itself doesnt close all the way opens up then I get a notification that it has opened and I cant close it with my app because stupid app is unreliable So I have to keep rushing home when that happens Saving my money to buy new one anything that is not craftsman The app is as much a piece of junk as the garage door opener itself     WORST Unreliable app ever

I have been using the app for about 4 months now and when I need it the most it seems to freeze or crash Not what I expected from Craftsman Im a little disappointed     App is NOT Reliable

After I went from iPhone 5 to 6 the push notifications stopped I understand its happens when you backup your phone then do a restore to a new phone that this happens I spent a lot of money on craftsman products for this to happen Did the same thing on my wifes phone     Push notifications dead

Most of my requests have been fulfilled Ease of use Password when specified for which area you prefer Open immediately to garage door Sweet This app works really good New issue The push alerts on iOS 84 no longer work The email works still just not as effective as push alerts Push alerts still working on iOS 83 Tested on 2 iOS 84 devices No luck Tested on 1 iOS 83 device Still works Old Would like it to remember my password to sense I want to use it password that simple to quickly login thats also my craftsman account password which makes it insecure By allowing me to enter my password and save it and just having a login button every time I open the app I can put in a Secure lengthily password for my craftsman account The thermostat Rad Stat app I use just opens to my account I can run my thermostat immediately without having to push a login button so I prefer no login but just a settings to forget my password or ask every time I mean when I want my door opened or closed I do not want to have to do anything except open the app push the garage image of my door Then put my iPhone back in my pocket Then it would be a lot more like the actual hardware remotes No complaints other then the need for ease of use              Update Please

The app was working fine for a month or so but as of a few days when I open the app it closes in about 15 seconds before I can do anything Uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same        App shuts down

The push notifications worked on my iPhone 6 but when I went to the iPhone 6 plus they quit working My husband still has an iPhone 6 and his notification are working We have the same iOS 84 and all of our settings are the same but I dont get the push notifications like he does     Push notifications dont work on iPhone 6 plus

I havent had this opener for a year and it has failed already It will no longer work on any of our iPhones but will work on other phones Sears has been no help at all and Apple said its the app developer but their website gives a not found message What a piece of junk and I purchased it specifically for the fact it could be opened remotely from smartphones     Poor app

Worked great for about 2 weeks Now the app just crashes I hate the fact that it will not save the password or give you the option Other apps like lift master have already fixed this issue           crash and password

We have had ours for more than 3 years now and for the most part we really like it Ours is available most of the time We have had a few short outages maybe a dozen but they were always no more than a few minutes Server reboot We also played around in the app and did quickly figure out how to cache the credentials for quick access to openclose Overall generally good product The issue is support When there is an outage there is no way to know as there is no System Status page You cant call support as those people dont know IF you even manage to get through to someone who knows what AssureLink is Heres something to try Click on the App Support link right here in the App Store You will be sent to a page that doesnt exist I like the concept I just dont believe that Sears puts any aftersales effort into it as it just isnt a profitable enough venture for them        Good system but no support

This is awesome that you can open it anywhere in the world as long as you are connected to data But for some reason this app has recently crashed Causing the app not to work Please fix              Works great but

Update July 2015 I had hoped that the most recent update would fix the reliability issues I was wrong The app worked wonderfully for an entire day Then became absolutely worthless again At this point I cant even log into the app to attempt to use it I have even uninstalled and reinstalled it twice to no avail Customer service Yeah that doesnt exist either Sears and Craftsman are a complete joke This app is a joke PRIOR REVIEW While craftsman has been and remains a reliable brand the assurelink app is totally worthless Sometimes the portal works sometimes it doesnt Often times I log in and try to open my door only to get an error message that Im not connected to the Internet If I log out of the app and back in the I sometimes get the app to work It really has nothing to do with being connected to the Internet considering I am It has to do with a terrible quality app and a total lack of customer service It is obvious when you call that they are reading from a script and dont know the product or how to help Sadly this portal used to work right up until about a year ago Ive had the system for several years I guess craftsman is going down with the Sears ship     Absolutely worthless

I have had the Assure Link garage door openers and this app for about six months and it works most of the time but over the last six months there has been some connectivity issues Recently the app stopped working on all three of our phones The app just crashescloses out I have deleted the app and tried reinstalling but it does not fix the issue I hope it gets fixed soon but according to this page the app was last updated in 2013        Not the greatest

It works but I find it ridiculous that it does not support Touch ID I like to get my garage opened before I stop at my driveway I do not think it is safe to enter a password every single time My House alarm works with Touch ID why cant this app           Needs Touch ID

Bought this at a local Sears about a year ago The app seemed to work most of the time Today I have tried to use it The was application useless Have downloaded it and deleted and downloaded it 5 times and does not work Tried calling 4 different phone numbers for help No help Dont waist your time or money SearsCraftsman will probably be bankrupt soon anyway     Worthless
