Dont bother with this freezes up and goes blank Z     Wow avoid

After downloading iOS 8 the app went crazy The key board went big and I could not get to my puzzles Also half the puzzle was hidden and could not be accessed I deleted the app and reloaded it After this I lost my puzzles Went to download them again and they started to purchase ones I did not want I hope I dont have to pay for them     Very Dissapointed

Three quick updates and yet the broken functionality still hasnt returned Holding on the penpencil no longer converts the selected entry to one or the other Yes deleting a puzzle is fixed but this crucial feature remains unaddressed The app did get a bit more responsive with these releases and its still a very nice app otherwise        STILL broken

After the latest update I cannot read the text on the help section Worked much better before        Update has messed it up

This app was great before the IOS upgrade Cant find my past puzzles and the helpcheck puzzle feature is gone Please fix        What happened

Seriously whoever made this app should get some kind of Nobel caliber award because everything about it is absolutely incredible Only problem is I cant imagine how I could ever live my life without it Its sad really but its true Ive had it for 4 years now and not a day has gone by that I did not use it                 The best Effin App ever

After the update I lost the ability to get 1 letter hints or entire word hints I am very disappointed     Lost features

I love the app I am not having any of the errors Im reading about here but then again I am still using iOS 7 on my iPad mini Best free crossword puzzle app by far                 Great app

Ive solved all of the puzzles that are available when you first download the app but when you try to download a sample to decide wether or not you want to buy the whole package it says this may take a moment and it just wont download At this point the app is useless You click download sample and it immediately wants you to login and purchase it If you want to try a new puzzle package dont bother For the past MONTH and a half the only option it has given me is to purchase or get nothing at all UPDATE Same problem as a few months ago Are these developers still active on this app        Sample puzzles

The builtin keyboard kept me from seeing thelast part of the puzzle Couldnt get it to go away when I tried to use my keyboard with iPad Mini Had to delete the app           Good but couldnt see puzzle

Keep hitting the hint button when trying to type in the answers Much of the content is cultural references that only MUCH older people would get     All around bad

Great app has every thing a cross word fan could want or need and it is free Download and enjoy                 Annemaree

This is the only crossword app Ive found that has such a great library of puzzles a large number are available immediately and the ingame purchase packs are large and cheap enough not to feel like a ripoff                 Best crossword out there

Decent number of free puzzles to solve But theres a technical problem I keep running into Swapping clues from across to down is done by doubletapping any of the squares But every time I play I run into the issue of the double tap not working and I get stuck in either down or across orientation until the glitch decides to work Sometimes it takes several minutes of randomly tapping around the board until it finally starts working again Very frustrating           Great but glitchy

I love the Crossword Light app and I use it every day Unfortunately the latest update is buggy I use the app on an iPad and I like to turn the iPad upside down in portrait mode With the new app in this position the graphics are messed up such that the puzzle list cannot be displayed and you cant scroll to the bottom of the clue list Also puzzles that I have deleted are still showing up in the puzzle list I still enjoy crosswords but please fix these bugs        Great app buggy update

A lot of the hints are nonsense or completely subjective or confusing I enjoy the ones that are confusing when theres a double meaning but most of these are just grasping at straws They also dont tell you when theres more than one word which drives me nuts        Who makes these

After the update puzzles I purchased are missing The Check for Purchases function did not work What a waste     Update problems

In the puzzle produce results by Ben Tausig the clue is far right ideology and the answer is nazism FYI Ben Nazi which is short for Nationalsozialismus is the National SOCIALIST party a far LEFT organization You get an F for social studies I cant stand these libs who are either totally ignorant to history or try to rewrite it to promote their own agendas This game gets one star only because I couldnt give it ZERO stars F minus Get your facts right     I dont take kindly to libsmorons making up history

I can do a quick crossword during commercials The puzzles are fun and funny                 Love this game

After the update the app no longer opens up I used to enjoy the puzzles but cant play anymore Wondering how to get my money back     Used to work until update

Would be a great game for free but the abundance of typos kills it For example the clue was layer and the answer was notnow Makes me really worry about getting the pay version when the free one is so messed up with such obvious flaws           So many typos

This app is wonderful except that Ive solved all of the free puzzles and cannot download any of the free samples After attempting to download it says this may take a moment but never successfully finishes even after ten minutes     Sample Downloads

Many of the puzzles will not display it will only shows the list of clues I do not like that I can not clear all errors by holding down the backspace key on the keyboard I dont like that the clear all errors and clear current clue buttons have been swapped I do NOT like the update to the app I want to revert back to the previous version     Vary angry with app update

Nothing like the nyt crossword Clues are way off base and oftentimes a big stretch They just dont have that je ne sais quoi that makes the puzzle come together and make sense be challenging and still solvable        Clueless clues

I enjoy doing these puzzles for a short amount of time There are clues that are challenging and fun but there are always several clues in each puzzle that are terrible Many of the clues are poor Example The 3 Many answers are also annoying It seems as though the writer completed the puzzle and then Googled answers to see what he could make out of the random words left over These often end up being last names of irrelevant or super obscure people or words from foreign languages Ive done a lot of puzzles that are a good frustrating because theyre challenging but these are frustrating because the clues and answers are dumb        Bad Clues and Obscure Answers

This app is fun and quote enjoyable but also irritating Most of the question clues are so old the information is not accurate When you try to get hints some ads dont work at all like the ninja turtles pizza slicer and some dont get an add option The app crashes randomly and doesnt offer description of what the icons are for        Debatable on a five star

I used to love this game Now after some update the button to show wrong answers does not stay set to Yes Lame        Show Incorrect Answers doesnt work

I generally enjoy these puzzles but some of the clues are so off the wall Also there is one puzzle in particular called Reel Copies wherein the theme clues all pertain to some film production company that produces blevel horror films I googled it Why in the world would any puzzle be based on some obscure collection of films that most people would never had heard of The quality of these puzzles are questionable        I agree with Nahtamuseds review below

Worthless app Kicks you out while working on puzzle 3 or 4 times for each puzzle Have to start all over again Very annoying     Crap

I love this app and use it daily Its great being able to switch between multiple puzzles Ive bought additional puzzle packs through IAP and have enjoyed the variety in authors topics and difficulties Also very appreciative of the easy and intuitive user interface                 Love this app

This app as potential but I hate when I put in a word and it doesnt tell me wether its right or not I know that you usually do not know of the answer is right on real cross words but it would be so much easier if it did I also had trouble downloading samples to see if I wanted to get the full version        Its okay

It is limited but good for keeping busy on the train or when you have to wait              Good free app

Enjoyable but these puzzles seem to have a UK slant in its clues and answers that are foreign to others              Pretty Good

This is my absolute favorite app I love to play it before bed With the latest update it crashes upon opening or if Im lucky and get the app to open it crashes on opening a current puzzle or trying to open a new one Will gladly give five stars if this is fixed     Update ruined it

Reviewed this a couple of days ago with a 3star complaining mostly about the buttons under the keyboard that I kept hitting Now that I found the setting that moves those buttons to the top and makes them smaller Im MUCH happier This is a great intro crossword game Lots of good puzzles to start off and easy to upgrade to get more              Review updated

Why would they put the hint list and other buttons so close to the keyboard I keep accidentally going to another tab when punching in letters Had to delete Gave an extra star because they have so many puzzles        Frustrating

Ive tried many and this one continues to be my favorite with its simple layout and wonderful features                 Best Crossword App
