An excellent idea with a couple of flaws both related to the choice of texts The first is that unless there are some peculiar features in a passage they re rarely difficult to solve pull out A and I and then look for a likely THE Then since you already know the general subject of the passage the solution is usually pretty obvious But I can see how some people would find this a virtue it can be relaxing to knock off a series of easy puzzles The second flaw relates to the developer s taste in literature The selections aren t bad exactly but they re all the sort of stories that appeal particularly to teenage boys I find myself groaning and often skipping to the next one as soon as I recognize the text usually on the first page Selections chosen by someone with more mature literary taste would be very welcome Needs more mature taste in literature Readingaloud

Cool concept but by the second ones it gets way to hard without using a ton of hints and there are way to many adds There are better cryptogram apps out there on the Apple store Horrible Hsudbdjsjsbsbx

Love how each puzzle completed adds another installment to the overall story What a great idea I feel like selecting letters could be easier Like maybe if it was in landscape mode the letters could be larger or at least the puzzle would fit in one screen And the QWERTY keyboard could be permanently on the screen Great idea but a little clunky Chip Desormeaux

I like cryptograms and this is a nice twist as you solve a longer ongoing story It would be much better if the cursor skipped to the next open space like most other word games The solve would be much smoother that way Good but could be improved mnmsk

i love this app i have always wanted to read the classics and this app lets me do that with a fun twist now i don t feel as guilty about wasting time playing a game hahah a few things would be great to see automatically highlight the next letter of the word rather than stay on the letter i just solved for a couple other font choices such as times new roman or calibri other than that fantastic app update received a personal message from the creator who has taken my feedback into account and is working on implementing it excellent GREAT APP a few suggestions for future updates easy to learn coding

Was at level 17 Love this game but after updating to ios9 am having issues Lost all my levels After reinstalling can play at times but most of the time I get a black screen HELP Barb

This is a great game but the IOS 9 upgrade briefly broke it Its apparently been fixed It works again Great concept and good stories so far The user interface is frustrating but its still a good mental challenge Fixed on IOS 9

This game is amazingly well thought with engaging stories and codes that are fun to solve The design of the game is also pretty giving the impression that the iPhone is an old book What else can I say Its so cool I couldnt think of a nicer game Well thank you Your idea is indeed really original Ill recommend it to all my friends Tons of stories and tons of fun

it would be great if this game simply dropped down the keyboard when the player is trying to enter a letter but I kept having to manually reshow the keyboard This and the kind of stupid tales caused me to delete the game from my iPad interface annoyance

Downloaded this game today and cant stop playing I love Cryptograms and solving them while I follow a story is great So far I am solving pages fairly quickly so I wouldnt say they are particularly difficult if you are used to Cryptograms Great Fun

The game is good but once I got to 33 on Tale 2 the game stopped working I solved the puzzle but it is not letting me move forward The game needs better tech support to fix the glitches Otherwise its a waste of time to play if you cant solve all the tales Good but glitchy

I really like to do cryptograms but havent done them on my phone very much Turns out they are great for a mobile app because its so easy to change the letters What makes this app stand out above any other cryptogram app or paper cryptogram is that each one is actually part of a longer story which is more interesting and the context of the story is like having extra clues Highly recommended Awesome

Spelling error in Tale 1 passage 12 Word is supposed to be water but the w is already taken and none of the other letters work so I cant advance on that Tale That and the music doesnt work but the sfx do But that doesnt bug me Otherwise this would be 5 stars Disappointing

I would love to see more of these around The tales are a bit dark but so totally worth it I cant put it down cuz I want to know what happens next Tons and tons of tales to decipher and I love the music accompanying the passages It takes me into the tale as it unfolds One thing that it can improve on is a hint option Some of the passages are a bit difficult to figure out because of word structure or uncommon words Sometimes i have to sit there and input a letter until it takes and the word is not something i use often Other than that this is a must have for cryptogram lovers anywhere XOXO Awesome concept

An impressive amount of puzzles to solve with this game I wish there was the ability to request a letter hint because these are actually quite difficult to solve even using known word patterns and frequencies they are a challenge This is because they are phrases from a story or a book and not designed as actual crypto puzzles The writing style for example of the second tale really makes it difficult to figure out what the words are It would also be nice if you could go back at the top of the page rather than having to scroll all the way to the bottom to find out that you can go back Just navigating the game itself was driving me a little crazy The ability to skip a page would be appreciated as well especially when you hit what appears to be a glitch Check passage 13 on tale 1 appears to require 4 different one letter words and there a re only two in the English language A button for clearing all letters should be readily available not having to click the dropdown A way to contact the developer should exist within the app so that we can point out glitches without having to put them in a review 6000 pages of phrase puzzles

Very well done and challenging People love to look over my shoulder and participate I hope to see updates with more puzzles in the near future I want more
