This app developer charged me money to enable ad free browsing Within a week they have signed a contract with a company that allows certain ads through their ad blocking filters What the developer must know that he she cannot sell a product that promises ad blocking and then greedily agrees to let the entire point of the app go up in smoke to make a quick buck I whitelist websites that survive on ads I can make that decision myself I don t need the developer to cheat me of my money in the false pretense of letting chosen apps through I will be requesting a refund on this app that lied to its customers Don t bite the hand that feeds you Questionable priorities Bcr-abl

In the few minutes that I used Crystal it seemed to block ads as promised but it also interfered with other sites YouTube videos with ads would just sit there for 30 seconds or a minute before playing and also some forum sites with no ads on them rendered incorrectly Breaks legit sites

If your adblocker takes money from you in order to block ads and then takes money from huge companies in order to show you the ads that you paid for it to block then yes its just using you to erect a tollbooth Accepts money from ad companies to show their ads

Bought this Improved web page load times then tried Block Bear terrible move dont do that Then tried Purify much much faster web loads and whitelist Managemnt Purify is better

Just tested this against purify and this app helps load pages faster and Purify keeps pages from loading all together However when I just went to the NY times web page there are adds that have tracked items that was just looking at on Amazon So this doesnt block any tracking and not all ads Free and it works better than purify however
The decision to allow some ads doesnt make sense The developer said that it was in order to support publishers but in order for the publishers to show ads they have to pay the developer Obviously this wont stop the larger websites from showing ads so it seems like its more damaging to smaller publishers on the Internet I deleted this app and bought purify when I noticed ads popping up Save yourself the buck and get a better ad blocker False Advertisement and Seemingly Dishonest Intentions
