I referenced this app several times while in Cuba with no internet access and was definitely glad to have it The map associated with the list of attractions and the Spanish phrases was handy to have on hand What would be great is to have an accessible general map of the city instead of relying on getting to the map from a specific listing I also found it difficult to search for something general like a money exchange place or bank within a restricted geographic area I literally had to click into each listing that turned up in the results to see if it was located in Havana or some other random location in Cuba The list of sights and restaurants within Havana are great especially when opening hours are listed but some of the content for museums and attractions outside of Havana is pretty limited While it won t replace a guidebook for trip planning would recommend downloading this app if you re heading to Cuba                 Good Offline Option in Cuba Sayin it like it is

The map alone which we could use to navigate even in airplane mode it still is able to pinpoint your location was invaluable as an American We used it every day The actual guidebook material is a bit thin and not always current but as a supplement it was sufficient There are helpful markers which are filterable on the map which point out most of the points of interest some of which were not in our Lonely Planet or Rough Guide books                     Offline maps guides free pfe89

5 stars and more if I could We just returned from a week in internet challenged Cuba and this app was very very handy The maps work without any roaming cellular data needed and so you are able to orient yourself find where you want to be and also add in extra destinations etc that are not included in the listings The maps work in a very similar interface as google maps but they use local geo positioning points so you can really get by off the grid The listings are well written and to our experience very accurate with main points of interest some banks restaurants etc these are described well and often with detailed historical political geographical detail as well as adding practical information as to opening times and costs etc I hope the app continues to develop and perhaps allows user input to add new finds for restaurants casa particulars and thing to do Well done developers                     Fabulous Guide with offline GPS maps eucalyptuz
