Okay so its 1240 am and Im up bc I wanted to say how disappointed with this app I was I highly recommend the cooking with chef Gordon Ramsey app because they contain video tutorials with the chef speaking himself not some creepy lady in the background This app has at least 1GB of memory and I didnt find a single video that helped me I am not an aspiring le cordon bleu graduatechef I am an amateur cook who wants to learn the proper way to say chop an onion or what knives to use depending on the food being prepared This app has 3 ways to chop carrots celery and radishes I dont eat either of them No onions at all Dont get this UNLESS you are IN cooking school Classes There are many terms you will NOT understand And I cant recommend enough to get the cooking with Gordon Ramsey app I like the vid tutorials of simple cookingcuttingpreping food The video quality is shammy for this app and the camera angle is far and doesnt change Was useless to me        Ummm not what Im looking for

One of the best apps For people with no skill to a lot of skill there is much to be learned                 Great app

I purchase this app last September and I continually use it both as a reference guide as well as an instructor and coach I have yet to come across another app as comprehensive watching these videos is like attending professionally taught culinary courses but without the performance pressure If youre looking for an all recipes app I highly suggest purchase Culinary Fundamentals sister app The Video Cookbook but if youre looking for instruction on everything from basic cooking knowledge to proper knife cutting and chopping skills to food preparation youll want to download this app then ready yourself for oneonone culinary instruction                 Welcome to Personal Culinary Class

I read the reviews and chose to ignore the negative ones Big mistake Seriously dont waste your money The videos dont work properly In my case there was no sound Not very helpful either I wish I could get my money back     Terrible

You cant claim that the videos are native to the app if you have to download them separately           You have to download the videos

I got it when it was free had some issues downloading the videos all at once contacted the company They said they are working on a update to solve that problem Good videos a little short but still helpful I would pay for it now if I had to                 Good app

I would give it five stars if it was updated for the iPhone 5 Definitely worth the money              Very good and educational

I like it I cook well but can try to cook like a pro now and I got it when it was free so I got lucky                 not bad

As a chef instructor I find the videos both informative and useful Students now are in the information age an small segmented videos play right into that Long lectures dont get the point across as well as 15 minute blurbs I use whatever means at my disposal to ensure I am producing the future trendsetters in the industry Thanks so much for a great product                 As a Chef Instructor

This is a great app for beginner culinary students I wish it had a bit more techniques but pretty good for 4 This app is NOT for the home cook I like that the videos are quick and to the point Great app Not a fake review              Great for a 1st year culinary student

Nice pictures maybe but video doesnt open at all Its really annoying Hmm its for iphone not for Ipad maybe thats why just saw it     It doesnt open for ipad

Right now I cant even get to a topic I went to play a video and the page froze up Now I cant get out of it Some of the videos I did see were nothing but repeatsa slice is a slice is a slice whether its a tomato mushroom or radish Its all the same just a different fruit or veggie Dont waste your money Next time I spend money Ill be sure there are comments first Its not even worth the one star     Help

Currently this was a huge waste because none of the videos will download     Needs an update so videos will work

Once I reinstalled it I was able to get the video categories to show up and begin downloading It took a while to get everything but it was well worth it There are a lot of fundamental things to learn from this app I find it a great compliment to some other recipe based book apps A lot of focus on prepplatingpresentation and dish components Hard to find this info just by poking around online 4 stars cause I had some difficulty w the videos the first time              Had to reinstall to get it working

I have tried multiple times to download the videos but all I get is a blank screen I click the option to download all the videos at once and it just takes me to a blank categories screen I dont even get the option to download individual videos I thought apple checked that all this worked with their rigorous review process before allowing it in their store     Doesnt work

This app is a joke The videos dont down load even with wifi and most are only 1030 seconds long Complete scam Seriously do not waste your money Like I did Very very bad and misleading app     Beware of these fake positive reviews

I hesitated to buy this mainly due to some negative reviews about the videos having no sound When I began using it I also had no sound with the videos BUT Read on Make sure your ringervibrate switch on your phone is switched to ring and not vibrate That allowed the videos to play with sound The videos are indeed very informative and useful I think having these at hand will be great Hope this helps                 Works fine for my iPhone and iPad

I am a culinary student I have read the reviews on this app an I am disgusted by the comments The videos are short direct and on point I got As in all of my classes because of this app It is well worth every cent I would have paid 100s of dollars to get this information I just dont understand how anyone can give this app below 5 stars You will not be disappointed I showed this to my professor and he said something in french kissed his two fingers and smiled I love this app and I refer to it daily I highly recommend that you get it I you want to know everything about everything about cooking get it You will not be disappointed Chef Leslie Almost Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena CA                 Let the videos load

I thought this would be goodI even read the reviews and hoped for the best anyway please I am begging you not to by this and waste your money like I did The videos would not load and when they did it would go up and down in less than a second Get chef ramsey instead much better     Horrible

I always look at reviews before purchasing an App but it becomes difficult at times particularly when an App receives such mixed reviews Although this one got some poor reviews even one I read that assumed the good reviews were fake Im glad the good overrode the bad as I saw it Ive cooked as a hobby for groups from about 10 to 100 and Im always interested in finding resources to reinforce my skills and to learn new ones I appreciate all the little tips available here And I had no problems installing and using the App                 Good App

After reading the other reviewers experiences with this app I threw caution to the wind and purchased it because I couldnt find another application like it Fortunately the app works as expected and the videos are just what I was looking for quick instruction on how to do one specific thing at a time I use an iPhone 4 with iOS 431 and I had no difficulty at all downloading playing and deleting videos over both WiFi and 3G If youre a home cook like me learn visually and want to learn the fundamentals of precision cuts fruit preparation vegetable preparation meat preparation poultry preparation and seafood preparation I recommend this app                 Exactly what I was looking for

It takes time to download but I asked for all at once and that gave me plenty to watch It goes over the steps in cooking and cant wait for them to give complete instruction on cooking an item or meal Oh dont try downloading all on anything but with wifi theres a lot of clips Overall very useful and I love it                 Watched about dozen of video

I bought this app in order to enhance my culinary abilities I am what I like to call a Home Chef I cook most of the meals my family eats and am always looking for something to bring it to the next level so when I saw this app I decided what the heck if it helps its worth the price At 499 it is quite a bit more expensive than most of the Itune apps so I really expected it to be something worth having Well I find the videos to be overly short incomplete and not helpfull in the least I wouldnt recommend this app to a friend and I dont recommend it to you It is an utter and complete waste of money and space on your i phone Enough said Chef Tomasso     Dont buy if you really like to cook

Do not waste your money like I just did Chefs tips are how to clean pots Haha the video on batters pretty much says batters are created by combining dry ingredients like flour and wet ingredients like eggs Then lists different types of batters you can create by combining wet and dry stuff Could have provided just a wee bit of actual teaching     Wow what a waste money

Videos do not play Another failure by Apple in not checking Aps before full release Videos take forever to download and if they do all you get is a blank screen I am sick and tired of wasting money on Apples aps that do not live up to reviews or what they are supposed to do     A waste of 5 and my time
