I wasnt able to read any of the video choices until I downloaded them all leaving no choice as to what I wanted to see or worse yet download And after all the wait the videos are approx 20 seconds each What     Cant read the list

This app will not stay open It crashes after 2 seconds Will you fix it or credit us     Will not stay open

The narrator is HORRIBLE I mean could you get anymore annoying or boring Had to delete the app after 5 videos Just couldnt take it anymore Please change the narrator to another guy or lady or a robot but please get rid of him     Theres only one reason I gave this app a star

The upgrade for this app now works flawlessly on the iPad If you want to learn culinary basics you MUST have this app I absolutely enjoyed this and would strongly recommend it to any basic culinary student You can watch the videos on the iPad it should be sitting in a cookbook holder while preparing foods Its a very inexpensive app and it will vastly increase your knowledge on basic culinary techniques                 The upgrade works and the app is brilliant Superb

Good idea but doesnt work     Save your money

Had high hopes only to be let down with these ultra generic low quality videos far from HD The voiceover alone would put you to sleep The videos are like 20 to 60 max This was definitely designed for high school kids sitting in a classroom and even they were probably yawning Great idea that totally missed the mark     Super Lame

Wow not sure if I should really review this since its only properly opened up once Since then the splash screen comes up then it crashes on me consistently Very Annoying considering the price of the app     Consistently Crashes

I bought video cook book app and it is great so I bought this app but I can not download the video so what a point I paid for this app please fix it        Video download is not working

I bought this on great expectations At first it did not work and crashed There was good support and I got an email from the developer as to how to fix the problem That worked I downloaded all of the videos at once this took days I suggest that users download only the videos in which they have interest However I must say the videos are great Excellent instructions on cooking fundamentals stuff that is not found in most recipies or cookbooks My wife is a Chef teacher and food author and when I ask her a basic question like How do you parboil she seems astounded that I dont know the basics This application avoids me having to ask              Good Job

Ive got to laugh when I read reviews bemoaning the brevity of the videos for both this app and the Video Cookbook that Futura produce Both apps are targeted at professionals in training and both apps are best appreciated by people who want a no nonsense and straight to the point introduction to cooking There is no spoon feeding and no Gordon Ramsey cursing people out and no Nigella Lawson wearing a tootight top Want to know how to julienne cut a carrot or break down a side of beef Here watch a 20 second video showing you the bare minimum facts on how to do it Want to stare at a celebrity chef stirring a big pot in an expensive kitchen while cooing like a pigeon This app is not for you                 Another great release

If you are looking for information on cooking with out the nonessential entertainment this is the app for you But if you need that to learn cooking techniques then go find a Rachel Ray app                 Great app

This app is a joke Any of the 5star professional chef reviewers are either liars awful chefs they need an app for fundamentals ha or mean professional chef in the same way Subway means sandwich artist EVEN IF the videos had useful information they dont the production effort is downright laughable think 11yearold with a camera and freeware editing software     God Awful

This app takes nothing for granted in the realm of cooking Just when I thought I knew how to properly boil an egg I discover I have been doing it all wrong dont laugh Its a common mistake I highly recommend this app for its clear concise and easy to find videos Thank you for giving us newbies a great tool to create the perfect dish                 Excellent for new cooks

I have only downloaded 2 of the videos The second one was on basic bread ratios In this one there are random non related videos related to bread but many of the clips did not relate to the audio I hope the other videos arent like that one Someone did not review their videos before releasing this app Disappointing     Miss up videos

This app is what I bought the iPad for Yes its perfect for new cooks but its also perfect for those that love to cook but may not have known the proper techniques to make the meal pop Thank you                 This is perfect

The sound doesnt work for the videos It says you guys tested it for 40 maybe you need to test it with 42 and fix some errors It seems like a great app though if it worked        Sound issue
