This devotional is one I have read for years and I just decided to see if there is an app and there is The only area I would change is not to open to a picture but to read because that is why I downloaded the app I love that I get a reminder daily                 Great devotional

I love Streams I have read a hard copy of it for several years When I saw the app for my phone I thought Oh good It will be handier to have on my phone And until recently it was But now the ads have made it extremely difficult to read I have to jump through so many hoops to actually read the devotional I understand the need for ads to be able to offer the app for free But this is ridiculous So I will be deleting it from my phone and going back to my hard copy I hope you will get this resolved because I liked the idea and enjoyed having it on my phone until recently        Streams in the Desert

This a blessing everyday The only downside is that the Google window pops up first But thats a small price to pay                 Very inspiring

My wife opened up the App one morning and an Ad popped up It was a man sleeping and another man trying to wake him up In the process the camera panned down the length of the mans body Suddenly the blankets begin to stand up down around his lower body as if he well you know My wife was appalled Here you have a Bible based DEVO and the last thing you are expecting is this kind of exposure I would like them to do a little more due diligence when it comes to their Ads If its a ploy to simply get me to buy the full version Bad ploy This is a great DEVO but it would be even better without the garbage Ads        Bad Ads

These devotionals are so good but the ads make it a terrible tools for spiritual times While some ads may be necessary having to listen to war music from HBO is not how I want to enter the Lords presence Im deleting the app and returning to the book     Discouraged

There are more days than not when I dont feel like reading scripture because Im a lazy or b dont know what to say to the LORD in prayer so I dont know how scripture will help yes Ive been a Christian for 16 years and I act like a 16 year old to Yahweh He loves me anyway so theres that Im sure a reminder was created in the app which is great but it doesnt always and it it does its timely When I am turning over every rock to find the LORD sometimes I read Streams in the Desert and its like Hes been sitting on the rocks saying whatcha doing and calls me to enter into His rest Now sometimes these stories are confusing because of the language I speak English but this old English poetry type writing is like watching someone talk upside down in a really loud party Thats why I gave the four stars There should be a message version for the nonfancy All that to say is thank you Thank you for having an app accessible to the masses because in the end its about Jesus Always has Always will be Even when I forget Its about Jesus              Just When I Need it Most

I received Streams in the Desert as a gift in 1976 and have read it almost every since The amazing thing is that it still speaks fresh new thoughts to my heart and I continue to learn and grow in my faith I have given this book to many people over the years so that they too can be blessed I like the original version best because sometimes the modern translations water down the original content and the depth of the meaning is lost                 Streams in the Desert

This is the 2nd Daily Stream devotional that mentioned the word Colored What century are you all living in having these published Offensive Ive never read another devotional mentioning a white guy or any other race The purpose of reading early morning devotionals is to be inspired not dissuaded irritated or angry If indeed you must using the word Black or African American would be better that colored     Why are we still using the word Colored
