This app for Dark Horse comics is an excellent comic reading app While you buy the comics through their website once purchased your comics show up in the cloud screen and with a tap you can download them to the device for reading The settings are pretty basic and allow for smooth transitions between frames and pages and zooming is very easy Recommended for easy reading of your DH comics                 Excellent App

What can I say I buy comics and can read them wherever I go Pretty rad Strap your device to some wifi buy your favorites read them on the cloud or download them                 Comics on the go

Dark Horse Comics is the superior comic book company Their books are intelligent interesting different and compelling Their digital reader is awesome and their downloads are fast and look great And also their bundles for sale on their digital webpage are affordable and great                 Superior

Since Dark Horse is home to Buffy comics it will always have a special place in my heart The app is fantastic the store function is easy to use back order issues go down in price the reader is beautiful and intuitive I couldnt ask for more                 Great App

I downloaded this app just for The Witcher comics and from those alone I can say that this app as well as the comics writing and art are fantastic and done very well for the small screen of an iPhone A                 Great way to read great comics

The Dark Horse app is very simple to use Its extremely convenient having such a large library of comics at my disposable                 I love the app

While the lack of Guided View being permanent on titles is annoying the app is very readable and the offline purchasing ability is really welcome Plus theres great sales Well worth downloading              Well worth it

This app functions well as a basic comic book reader combined with a storefront for buying comics It allows you to store your content on the web but requires you to download any of the comics that youre reading Both the store and the reader have room for improvement but for what it does this is a very stable app that offers customers a positive and simple gateway into Dark Horse Comics extensive catalogue of comics                 Integrated and Reliable

Dark Horses app is quite slow It requires long loading times and has to download the shops content each time the app is opened as well as the covers for the comics you have downloaded in your library Its odd and time consuming The panelbypanel reading is also pretty clunky not nearly as smooth as Comixologys guided view I wish there was a view whole page option after going through each panel on a page like there is on Comixology The prices are fair though and the catalog seems to have most maybe all of Dark Horses comics available for purchase I do like their smaller bundles of four comics Comixologys bundles are always an entire run or a collected edition both of which are basically as expensive as buying individual issues I dont know why Dark Horse doesnt sell through Comixology but I really wish they would This app is awful in comparison but I like the Mass Effect comics enough to deal with it I suppose           Still Wish They Sold Through Comixology

Dark Horse publishes some great books Despite that I was wary of making the digital leap because a physical book is such a wonderful thing I was greatly pleased with the experience this app provides The guided view feature keeps the story flowing and provides a great way to enjoy the art by filling the screen with each image The resolution of each page provides a clear full panel image that looks great on an iPad with a retina screen There are occasional glitches and rare app closure but I am confident that these things will get better in future updates You will find yourself zipping through each issue because the app provides a nodistraction interface It wasnt long before I purchased all of the BPRD Issues One tip for users Purchase your issues directly from the Dark Horse website While the inapp prices are quite reasonable you can only buy individual issues or collections in the app The bundles they offer online are the best value for your money If I had one suggestion it would be to provide a feature that allows one to make their own readings lists in whatever order one desires For a series like BPRD the stories are broken into multiple story arcs The next issue suggestions that pop up at the end of a book are occasionally out of date of publication order Great work Dark Horse              Great Comic Reading Experience

The app is fairly decent for reading comics But the real appeal is not the app itself but the high quality of the digital versions of heir comics that Dark Horse has for sale                 Good

Wouldnt download purchases but once I logged out then back in it was fine              Okay

Its crashed on me a few times and I have a hard time popping out of zoom ins but it is nice to have all my comics stored in one lovely place Way to go Darkhorse              A little finicky but ultimately a good app

When it works its a great way to read digital comics Unfortunately downloading content is painfully slow Often can take over five minutes to download a single comic and its not due to my internet connection Thats pretty decent actually Also whats up with all the landscape mode bugs Do your testers only test in portrait mode           Buggy but serviceable

As a Conan fan since the early 70s I am so glad to see Dark Horse in the digital arena with the rest It all works smoothly on my iPod Touch I love the special touches like artists signatures in the background This is very close to a five star for me if they could get The Savage Sword of Conan series included that would do it Ok You got the Savage Sword Now Fantastic keep them coming 5 star Update Love reading these on my iPad now Enjoying every new read                 Well Done

Im not a comics reader but thought I might enjoy them This app shows the comics in low resolution though on my iPad Air 2 so never mind I would have thought of any app in the store this one would be most likely to have crisp graphics but obviously I was wrong        Pixelated imagery

Overall the app is good Dark Horse has many options for the stories and series that they produce However my issues stem from the app itself At times it is all but impossible to bring up the options menu It would be nice if the touch zones were a little more defined Further when the slide to panel option is used it will often automatically turn off when an unspecified zone is hit Trying to get this option to be able to turn on leading to the issue with frustration one Its very cyclical           Could use more fine tuning

Tried to sync the app and downloads the comics I bought but it just hangs and sayserror cannot connect to dark horse servers please try again in a few minutes I have tried several times to sync with the same results The site recommended clearing the cache and resetting the data I did and after restarting my iPad and start the app it just has a loading symbol spinning and spinning THE APP DOESNT DO ANYTHING WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP     Never connects to server

Love the restore feature of the app Could u make more or the whole features that way please                 I loving it

I had trouble with accessing a purchased comic once and when I called I spoke to a human immediately and they fixed the error very quickly and were super nice about it Ive bought a lot of books through here and the app has renewed my love of comics                 Best customer service Ive seen in decades

I like that you can purchase from the app or from the website but shouldnt there be a discount if you purchase from the website since there isnt an Apple Tax Navigation is great no buts here Catalog is great no buts here either Managing content is great but a little cumbersome if your collection runs in the hundreds Downloading is great for viewing within the app but being able to download titles to your computer would be better              Great but

Its a good enough comics reader but showing all of your purchased issues of every series on the main screen is an eyesore Needs to grouporganize issues by series similar to Comixology Please fix ASAP           Organization Features Desperately Needed
