Instant search and offline access to any API documentation you may need. Dash is an API Documentation Browser that gives your iPad and iPhone instant offline access to 150+ API documentation sets (for a full list, ...
Keep it up              Basics works well bookmarking would elevate it to 5 stars
Been looking a while for an app like this Its the perfect amount of functionality with all the focus on finding and viewing the content                 Exactly what I was looking for
Please add font resize feature              Good start but needs some enhancements
Wonderful to have api and language documentation on the go Lookups are lightning fast too                 Works great very fast
Lets you carry loads of API documentation with you at all times even offline for many languages Invaluable You can browse the Apple programming guides at any time of day with every spare minute Luxury                 Fantastic resource
A great companion to the desktop app Would be even better if you could do lookups from a mac on the iOS Dash Even without that fantastic                 Love it
Hard to imagine anyone could do a better job I am amazed that I can go through all of the Mac Cocoa stuff in one place and also C and any other language Im interested in I like to download Apples documentation in PDF and read them in iBooks app Im sure I will always do that but this gets me into the individual classes and I can find all the routines for the class and jump into other Cocoa classes Definitely fivestar software Thanks for the great work                 Fantastic
This app is great but I wish the snippet feature was available like in the desktop app              I like it needs snippets
I use Dash on my MacBook Pro and didnt even realize that I needed offline access to all of API docs on my iPad until I tried this app But I use it all of the time My usage is actually different on the iPad I use it more as an exploration tool looking at docs for things I may not be using yet                 Great app
Dash for OS X is one of those apps that solves a problem perfectly I use it on a daily basis for work whether Im online or traveling Now the developer has written the app for iOS and I am thrilled Yes it needs some user experience tweaks but just having Dash available on a portable device is fantastic The only reason I didnt give this four stars is because the process of syncing docsets between iOS and OS X through iTunes is clunky and unnecessary Once the app uses iCloud Drive for docset synchronization I give it five stars without hesitation              The OS X app is indispensable so happy to see this on iOS
Surprisingly it does NOT sync anything between Mac and iOS bookmarks snippets downloaded docsets ANYTHING And you cannot save bookmarks on local neither Beside the Remote is oneway only it should be twoway using handoff or whatever        Not worth it
Does not provide a ui for browsing docs Simply loads docs in a browser So if the mobile experience is currently bad it will remain bad Lack of ability to load custom docs or really custom anything is hard to understand A good start here but absolutely not worth 10 dollars        Disappointing
Awesome app One suggestion Please make the snippets available in iOS devices through iCloud sync              Snippets
Ive been using this app on my Mac for over a year now and its great to see its now available on the iPad It is great to now have easy searchable access to a bunch of API documentation right at my fingertips                 Excellent Tool
Dash on the Mac is an indispensable tool for me and Im thrilled that its now available on iOS too It works exactly like youd expect and is quick and responsive even for very large docsets Awesome app                 A great app now on iOS
Amazingly useful                 Great
The Mac app is a working wonder and I love the quick reference so I was naturally excited to grab this app for my iPhone to review this content on the go or as a second display of sorts The app is designed logically but it definitely needs lots of polishing in my opinion While downloading the API references the app would freeze up and not let me go forward or back in the API browser The status bar is translucent and the overlay of API docs make it hard to read I also couldnt go back to the list of viewable APIs Lots of little quirks to work out All in all its hard to justify the cost for this in its current state           Great App needs polishing
Simple and fast The best documentation viewer for OSX now pocket sized                 Dash in Your Pocket
The list of ways this app will improve my life would be too long to post here I will say that I am very much looking forward to going back to using Safari for browsing the web rather than keeping fifty devrelated tabs open I was going crazy Where iOS Dash doesnt excel is in its presentation of for example app guides and sample code from the iOS docset Instead of seeing a proper index of the current document in the master panel such as when trying to browse an example project were still presented with a list of other docs to choose from What should be on the left is a list of source files inside the project In other words if Im reading a Core Competencies guide or an API guide Id like to see an index of its sections in the navigation pane not a list of other documentsAPIs I can view in the whole of the docset The problem here seems to be one of nested indexes the TOCindex for an example project or a dev guide should be in the master pane not an index to all the other entries in the entire docset Sample projects bring a similar problem Instead of being able to navigate source files in any order I like Im stuck having to page through them as theyre laid out in the document which is alphabetically by the name of each source file For an example of this look up any example project from the iOS docset and try to navigate your way around it Without an index of the files in the project its like walking blindly through a sequential series of potentially irrelevant source code files I hope Ive explained that well enough What would be ideal in addition to fixing this navigation problem would be adding a link to each example project so that we can download the zip file directly from Apple Apple provides these links in their online docs Then I could grab an entire project and either save it locally to iFiles for example or open it directly in TextTastic which would be amazing Aside from the issues with navigating guides and sample projects the actual API lookups are great and are more than worth the cost of this app I already have it installed across my devices and its great on the phone as well as the iPad For a product that was just released this is a beauty and given how well youve treated us with the desktop version of Dash I trust youll steadily improve this version until I have nothing to complain about Thank you for bringing Dash to iOS              Magnificentish
Been waiting for a great way to browse dev documentation on iOS and here it is                 Worth the wait
I never have enough screen real estate when developing so using Dash on my iPad instead of my dev box helps me save about half a screen Its also easier to take to the bathroom for you know extended thinking sessions                 Moar screen space
I was looking for a docset viewer that would be easier on the eyes than the web browser and I couldnt be happier with this app You can dial the font size up and down search quickly and use custom doc sets Please add a way to bookmark or favorite specific pages because the iOS docs library is so massive its hard to remember where it all is                 Delivers in all the right ways
Very useful for developers and students learning how to code                 Irreplaceable
I can not see user contributed docs As such I bought this and it was completely useless for me to explore my docs on the go           One simple problem
If you like the Mac OS X version you know what youre getting its good Perfect companion for an app like Pythonista                 Awesome App
This is a fantastic utility Ive been waiting for convenient way to access docs offline and this app is perfect Worth every penny                 Fantastic
would be great to have tabs and bookmarks like osx              Missing tabs and bookmarks like osx
Great application Needs a few extra features Dark mode is a must Maybe sync with iCloud across iOS and mac also Thanks              Desperately needs dark mode and sync
