I use this app all of the time I am happy that it keeps updating and I look forward to many more years of usefulness while using it alongside the desktop application              Nice interface

I love this journal Its elegant attractive easy and works smoothly Syncing between my iPad and iPhone is seamless It would be fun to have a few more customization choices with text like highlighting or font colors I wouldnt mind being able to add multiple photos to one entry but for me its not really an issue All in all theres not much I would change Its a beautiful journal                 Great Journal

The app boast that it can be used across different devices but fails to mention that you must buy a copy for each and every device           Must purchase for each device

This app is just what I was looking for I wanted something just to jot down my thoughts for the day and this enables that and much more It is super easy to add a picture to your entry and it automatically adds in info like your location time date and even weather It makes it easy to scroll through your entries and get a quick glance at each day Highly recommended app totally worth the 5 bucks I paid for it                 Sure beats the old fashioned journals

The app is visually less complicated than others I have seen Plus you can figure out how to use the functionality with experimentation I have used apps like Evernote and find this to be easier and far less complicated and busy This app is perfect for a person seeking journaling capabilities I like the way the photos are integrated into the journal entries and the time temperature and weather and location automatically included              The best journaling application I have found

Ive been using this app for over 2 years now and I must say I really love it Its so easy to add new entries and it has a lot of features that add to the journaling experience However my only suggestion would be to allow multiple photos for posts and for multiple entries on a single day to show up as a single entrytimeline Nevertheless this is a wonderful app and Ive recommended it to many friends                 Love it But

This app is amongst my favorite i have had it for a couple of years now Its a great tool to use to record memories and feelings while the are fresh Because its on your phone its way more convenient then writing in a notebook It also syncs w icloud or dropbox so its easy to keep connected with other devices The only down fall is you cant save videos I feel like it should support video clips as an entry That would be cool Other then that great app                 memory keeper

I use this app daily and I love its full feature set with multiple sync options search ability and ability to merge pictures with the journal This is such a well designed and implemented app its likely one of the best in that regard and certainly the very best in journaling Yesterday I upgraded to ios9 opened the app and literally watched my data vanish I was devastated since Ive been faithfully entering data in it daily Within 24 hours I exchanged 5 emails with tech support and successfully restored all my data Ive never experienced such quick and professional help from any software developer Id give these guys 6 stars if I could                 Lost data with ios9 updatetech support saved the day

Ive tried to keep a journal off and on for years It has just never stuck for me This app has solved my inconsistency I can journal quick entries on the fly or longer entries from my desktop and it all syncs up Its easy to add a picture of the moment and it all formats beautifully for print if you want                 Awesome journaling app

I love this app so much I use it to cope and writing in here after a stressful day is so comforting You can easily organize entries with tags and it syncs automatically to either dropbox or icloud so you wont have to worry about losing your entries It also records things like the music youre listening to at the time of the entry The only suggestion I have is to be able to attach multiple pictures to one entry or even videos                 Favorite app

The app is really great for helping me organize my thoughts and day I use the tags for everything I like that it organizes by day and keeps my history easily accessible to edit as well It automatically updates my phone and tablet which is great because I can take notes anywhere on any device Loving it                 Works Great

For over two years Ive relied on the multitude of ways of access from mobiles to desktops to Day Ones journaling app either directly or through another app like Safari Day One is not cluttered with useless bells and whistles The focus on the features that are important and present those features in an elegantly simple manner Its simple An image can be included with each post you can create your own tags search view a timeline and access it anywherewhat more does a person need                 Couldnt write my PhD without it

The ease with which I got back into writing my journal is incredible with this app I love the ability to add pics and automatically tag with location and weather                 Fantastic app Makes Journals fun again

I heard that when this backs up it does not encrypt Therefore if say your iCloud or Dropbox gets hacked then your info can be accessed very easily However this product is one of the easiest and the most enjoyable journal app I have used Just a little unsure about the safety in syncing my precious thoughts and memories           Privacy concern

This program has become an extension of me I have begun to use it as my intimate repository of my thoughts just like a journal but much more than just a journal It has become a quick and easy to use reference for anything and everything that comes to my mind The nice thing about it too is that I can clarify or reclarify my thoughts by just simply editing it Buy it you will use it                 It has become an extension of me

This is a very nice app It is exceedingly easy to use has great features and the UI is gorgeous I had to contact support over a slight issue of changing my email address and they responded almost immediately I have never experienced such great customer service from a free app These guys are awesome                 Awesome AppGreat Support

I just started using this last week Its so simple to record quick thoughts and events Love that you can add pictures location and temperature to journal entries Wish Id activated the app months ago when I first downloaded it                 Quick Convenient Easy

This app has kept my journal entries safe I havent had anything disappear I also have a password on my journal I add pictures weather location and a time stamp to all or none of my entries It is easy on the eyes and very easy to use for journaling I am using iOS 8 iPhone 6 I would recommend this application to friends family and anyone who is trying to get back to journaling personal thoughts                 Journal and Picture App

Awesome DayOnes interface with so many apps is awesome WHO NEEDS QUICK NOTES or smile pads Especially handy to take quick photos that go with notes BE CAREFUL IT CAN GETCHA IN HOTWATER                 Excellent for making quick notes to myself

Its interesting how this app so nonaggressively worked its way into my life I dont use it every day hell Im pretty much never thinking about or using this app but the few times I have wanted to write in a journal over the past year and change have been met with some surprise all my stuff is still there intact and securely encrypted Ive got some dark times logged in this journal and a few nice ones as well and I intend to use this app on iOS and Mac OS well into the future Kudos to the developers Ive learned a lot about myself since I put down the money for this app over a year ago Recommended                 Always there in my back pocket

Ive loved using Day One I love that it syncs on my various devices so I can type in bed on my iPad or on my phone in a waiting room Being able to update an entry based on the timeplacedate of a photograph is really useful and helps when I just want to journal an image Ive been using Day One to help me with my morning and evening routine and being intentional with my days as well as to record random thoughts and memories I want to keep I love that it becomes a life record no matter how I use it                 Useful Journaling App

When I first returned to journaling several years ago I downloaded multiple apps to explore This one quickly became my favorite The others are long gone This app makes me look forward to journaling or stepping back and exploring past thoughts or experiences It is easy to use simple elegant Just as it should be It syncs well with my other devices and I have not had any problems with it at all                 Go to app

I really like this app Right now I am using it to document my daytoday living in preparation to use against an insurance company who decided I was not disabled in their eyes Like with the IRS if you keep a detailed log and it is kept up to date it can act as proof for certain expenses I like the freeform way to use this App I love that this can also be published in PDF format I also love the tags and the flexible way you can use them Sometimes a tag can say more than an entry of 50 words I would like to see two changes that will make this the only journaling App I will use 1 A way to lock entries and show the datetime day in log was locked And 2 I keep a travel log that is separate from my daytoday that tracks my pain what I cant do how long I have not performed certain tasks etc To be able to keep a separate log within one program would be the real update I like that it captures my location and the time and weather when I started the log for the day I have tried the feature that tracks my travels but it did not seem to work I carried my iPad when I walked the dog It may also be something wrong I did I will read it further Right now I need two other Apps to track the photography I do and if I travel I have another app that tracks my travels I know your app can attach photos either from the iPadiPhone or taken from the Camera Roll I plan to use it with my main log to shoot photos of my living conditions on a weekly basis Its 5 stars anyway But the ability to keep concurrent logs would add 5 more stars                 Great App Two Suggestions

Ive been using this app since 2011 and it does everything that I need it to I would say its almost perfect in terms of user friendly quick search etc it even has tags so you can quickly get to your sources Eg Work personal love etc My only issue is that within one entry it wouldnt allow me to add more than one image within an entry at the time I would have to add entry 2 to upload image 2 But besides that it does a wonderful job              Great App

Good journaling app I use it to keep track and reflect on my teaching day and to prep for my blog articles beforehand Has skipped synching a couple of times but not enough to warrant a complaint Would recommend it for anyone wanting to keep a synchronized journal across devices              Not bad takes a bit to sync sometimes

Great export feature to PDF nice integration of photos and writing TouchID security tags are a bonus Cons I wish we had more rich text formatting options color font size etc However they have made this app lean and easy to load Cant complain 5 stars                 simple approachable journaling
