I emailed the developer when the location button disappeared and even though the issue was probably my old phone my not updated iOS the dev updated the app to fix it within a few days Thanks                     Great bug response Koze18

Best DC bus app I have found and I have tried several 1 I like that the basic interface uses the map so it is easy to locate nearby buses 2 This app is the only one I have used that shows you the bus routes on the map That lets you know if the bus goes near a place you want to go Very helpful Just wish it added the Circulator buses to the app I recently had a technical problem updating the app and sent an email to the developer I got a prompt reply with the solution                     Best DC bus app Fencersmom

The basic idea of this app that it pinpoints the bus stop closest to you and shows you the route on a map is ingenious I don t know why all bus route apps don t work this way It is so much faster to use when you at elsewhere in town besides your home and work bus stops Accuracy of the arrival data is as good as it can be considering the shoddiness of WMATA s NextBus predictions Let us all hope one day WMATA moves to real time bus tracking so we don t have to wait for a bus that doesn t come                     Maps rather than lists are a lifesaver bureaucratwholovesmusic

This is a pretty good app overall The bus timing seems accurate and the stations are clearly marked Being able to select a route and highlight it on the map is fantastic and something I desperately want in the Metro app Including it differentiates this app However the Ride On buses seem non existent Even once you turn them on in settings they don t show up This is unfortunate as I was really looking for an app that can handle the Ride On buses smoothly Finally there s no option to search by station or by route If that was included this would be by far the best DC area bus app             Pretty good but where is Ride On NothinButtaFan

For some reason it doesn t seem to work for many definitely running bus lines at night My other apps detect a bus arriving but not this one I often get no bus detected for certain bus lines Next thing you know a bus shows up Add to this annoyance the fact it asks you to download new stops database every time you open the app and it takes a minute or more and then often fails that operation         Limited usefulness Bohemian Rhapsody

I just had to stop using this app today It served me well for a while but now just can t seem to display the right times or sometimes a time will be displayed then disappear Will definitely use this again if they can fix it but until that time ill be using another app         Good for a time Joey Severns

The other reviewers have legit complaints It is difficult and sometimes impossible to get data for a given stop and the route information is not current However the arrival data has been satisfactory It is difficult to know which problems are specific to this app and which are due to the DC Metro system I find the app useful despite these issues             Not bad but frustrating vcmjr

Adding bus route mapping and the ability to save favorite stops has bumped this up to a 4 for me The predictions still have problems and there has been a stop with no info for months but the developer explained to me that this data comes straight from wmata That brings me to an important point I have never dealt with a more responsive and responsible developer Not everything is perfect but he worked hard to understand my concerns deal with them and follow up with me on his progress Fantastic and unfortunately rare                 Great update DuPontDoc

After the most recent update this app has met every single one of my most wanted features for a Metrobus tracking app In addition to bus routes that are available by selecting a stop and then touching one of the route numbers overlaid on the side of the screen the app now allows you to store favorite bus stops as well Overall usage is intuitive and the ability to check arrival times for stops outside of your immediate vicinity is a huge boon Hint use the last updated button to refresh arrival times or look for bus stops in a different area of the map The app also shows arrival times for Metro trains Ignore the reviews complaining about inaccurate times that is not the app s fault The blame lies with WMATA s crappy info You d run into the same problems by calling into NextBus since the data source is the same                     The best standard for WMATA bus tracking apps i teleport a lot
