I love these sorts of utilities and templates and Im excited about the potential for this app Organizing and planning is important to me and Im looking forward to using this to organize my thoughts and ideas and then using this to communicate them The templates provided could easily be replicated on the desktop but having this on my iPad is great because of its mobility Lots of forward looking statements here What I would like to see in future releases are additional templates and tools such as the fishbone diagram cycle diagrams like PDSAPDCA etc pyramid inverted pyramid and different variations of arrow metaphors Its very pretty and easy to use but its utility is limited at the moment Very excited about its potential Interesting
I bought this because of the touted Blue Ocean Strategy feature but it does not offer a functional BOS Strategy Canvas Pretty much worthless for my work in innovation without this so I am a bit disappointed with the purchase However if you dont care about BOS then this app should have a couple solid models that you can play around with For the author you should be able to connect the dots like a sine wave on a strategy canvas and compare your blue ocean trend to your red ocean trend The best ideas often have an inverse relationship in features Doesnt do Blue Ocean Strategy effectively
This is a pretty cool app I have to say some of the reviews made me question its purpose but I got it and I think it might be useful if I use it on a regular basis Reason I got it is because it look very simplistic from a user standpoint which it very much is and could be used as a visually for todo list which most of the todo lists I just really hate and this you can make your own models for a list I think if they kept the same Ideas for the app they have now and could incorporate things that todo lists have and mind mapping apps that would be neat but still being simplistic of course For visual simple people
The concept of the app is good but operationally it is glitchy Advertised to work on both the pad and the phone it does not work at all on my iPhone 5 The models that are to be used as templates are great but some keep disappearing from the examples I have reloaded the program twice to regain the full compliment of models and still this happens A little more instruction would also be appreciated It is not as intuitive to use as the creators may think Example deleting a self created model is difficult until you realize the tiny icon in the corner is indeed a trash can It has nice potential but needs work Buy the book not the app Glitchy
Finally a decision app that is intuitive and fast I used this within the first hour and facilitated a law firm decision making meeting that went flawlessly Kudos fellows Finally
The Decision App does not support any quantitative analysis It does allow you to quickly build a chart to illustrate any decision analysis you have already completed The user interface is quick to learn and easy to use You can build a good illustrative chart for a briefing in minutes and export the results for use in a chart program like MS PowerPoint or Apple Keynote As long as you dont expect the app to do any decision analysis that must pass a generally accepted standard of objective rigor then it is a handy tool to illustrate your results Nice chart builder
Theres not much in this app other than the ability to draw pretty diagrams At the price I was expecting some type of decisionsupport calculations but all you can do is draw pictures Nothing to see here move along Pretty but useless
Decent app needs drawing tools I would also love to see more models from the book included It would be great to create boxes in my models not just dots Line and circle drawing tools should be added Ok app much better book The decision book is a must have for any business student or professional I carry it with me every day Great book
The description is misleading There are only two types of models you can usecreate and they are variations of each other one with four quadrants and one with two axes A serious ripoff at the price The interface is slick but very low on content Limited
If you are looking for an app to reach fast and easy to Alevel models this is your app Quick design easy editing lot of possible outcomes As a new app may need some time in market for updates that may help Did not find bugs in my first day Hope not to in the future Would like to integrate with a mac app Need some better and new tools on layout and design Highly recommended Accurate and almost perfect for the need
