I read these reviews about it being too tough not true Being a die hard TD fan I enjoy the challenges I do not buy the in game benefits I play it out and have had immense fun working through the stages and adjusting my strategy It is tough It may take 100 tries to get a perfect on Nightmare I believe that is the point of strategy games Cant wait for additional updates Note on the 1 2 1 update my screen is continuously flickering no matter the resolution I have it set to Running a 2017 MacBook Pro Please fix it                     Great Game with Challenge mustard

The developers have played the perfect bait and switch with this game The original versions Defense Zone 1 2 were beautiful to look at interesting challenging and fun That was before they introduced in game purchases This most recent version DZ3 Ultra HD was extremely difficult but playable at first However your latest update featuring Mission 16 and I m assuming 17 18 and 19 are impossible to play unless you load up really load up on developer crafted special weapons which of course require in app purchases Still not a bad experience except your code or algorithims or what ever you use for in game adjustments have noticeably weakened the offense power of the defensive towers and overloaded the hit point survivability of the enemy armies making them extremely difficult to destroy And your crafted special weapons which you pay for again and again are less than effective to achieve their destructive purposes But they are very effective in sending funds into your coffers This borders on the immoral You have that right as game developers but your don t have the right to rip off your gamers with impossible scenarios on the EASY level I would t give you any stars if I could but I do defer to your previous excellent DZ 1 2 versions where you weren t so greedy to create a game that required a pot of money next to you to compete on the EASY level Also for the amount of in app purchases you require to even be competitive on the EASY level you should attend to the bug which freezes the selection of a particular tower which constantly occurs and requires a game restart with the loss of all your former positioning and costly special weapons PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS VERSION IT S CRAFTED TO MAKE YOU SPEND MONEY AND YOU RE NOT GETTING YOUR MONEYSWORTH FROM WHAT YOU RE BUYING AN ADJUSTING UPGRADE IS SORELY NEEDED     Unreasonable In Game Purchases Rock Hill Guy

pretty solid game for a few bucks I like the straight forward set up with different maps and difficulties My only complaint is that on a few levels space for creating towers is pretty limited which can really hold back how many different strategies you can use to beat a level As well as when you go to defend from stronger foes limited space becomes infuriating unless you plan perfectly pretty entertaining game and good deal otherwise                 Good time killer Gerbinz

This version of Defense Zone is much harder than version 2 The easy setting on this is above the hard setting in version 2 I can not get past level 10 I VE GIVEN UP AFTER 6 HOURS OF TRYING as it is much to hard and unbalanced and I m trying on the easy setting Good luck on the harder settings The developer should address and correct this in any upcoming updates And bring back the time clock as it was usefull to see what time it is while playing There are other bugs such as when clicking on a weapon and the range ring halo appears you can click on other weapons and the rings stay instead of canceling out and going to only the unit selected and the screen is littered with rings stacked upon each other making it difficult to see the battle field At this point I feel like I wasted and have gone back to version 2     Very Unbalanced Difficulty dantellocy

I enjoyed Defense Zone 1 2 and really liked this third version until I hit level map 6 which has proven impossible for me to beat even on the Easy setting The game is designed so that you must win each level before it will unlock the next one The first 5 levels were very hard again using the Easy setting but I managed to get through them I assume that the developer has set the game up this way to force customers to make In App purchases to be able to progress to more levels I paid for the game and am willing to grind to earn enough points without resorting to spending more money but it seems that isn t possible with Defense Zone 3 Ultra HD The developers have every right to do this but it would have been an ethical move on their part to state up front that the game is designed to force you to pay more to advance further than the first few levels As it is I feel as if I paid for a Lite version which are usually free I don t mind paying for more maps or an improved game I paid for each of the first two game versions but this business model isn t ethical If there s someone that has bought the game and has figured out a way to advance without paying for in app purchases I m willing to consider changing my rating If the game was free I wouldn t mind so much the in app method to advance Lastly I use an Apple trackpad with my iMac and sometimes trying to select a weapon is almost impossible The game just won t register a tap or click at times I m sure it s not my trackpad as I have no issues with any other application on my Mac I don t have a mouse to try but I don t see why it would make a difference And it s possible to drop a tower onto a spot on a map and not be able to find it again quickly as many maps have very nicely rendered foliage that hide the tower making it difficult to find when you need to upgrade or sell it The postives about the game the graphics are quite nice better than the first two games which were already pretty good There are a good variety of weapon towers with a wide range of upgrades possible for each The game runs very smoothly on my 2012 iMac with no crashes or freezes Gameplay is easy to figure out especially if you re already familiar with the tower defense genre The concept is engaging and could provide good replay at least if I could ever get past the first handful of maps If the game was changed to address the issues I ve listed I d probably give it at least 4 stars As it is unless you re willing to continue paying money after your initial purchase of the game I suggest you wait for an update that will hopefully address these issues             Frustrating stlatham
