this app is very easy to use                 I liked

Crashes when deleting contacts even with privacy settings as recommended Do not waste your money     Garbage

I accidentally added 8 folders with about 4000 contacts and another 1200 duplicates I was able to fix it all in a few minutes                 Saved me a ton of Time

I dont use my iPod for business etc so please heed the warnings of the reviewers who do if it is a concern of yours But this app did the job the right way the first and only time I utilized it I had the annoying issue of multiple contacts and it really was simply that freakin annoying The app cleaned out the multiples and left unchecked contacts The original problem arose when I had to restore my iPod and for some very strange reason when it had restored I had a million contact profiles many of each of people I hadnt talked with in yrs but Apple pulled from the depths of my email accounts that is how I explain it anyway I decided that taking a chance on an app to do the painful swipe delete one at a time was worth it And lemme tell ya it was I wont update unless I need to use this app again I sure hope this bug is fixed via Apple                 Worked for me

I have had a chronic problem with my iPad contacts that Apple Care was unable to help with The only solution they could give me was to do a factory restore and put everything back on my iPad manually as iCloud backup just brought back the problem What problem 238189 contacts in my AddressBook database iOS 6 has no way to delete these contacts I could turn off all contacts in settings but this doesnt delete the AddressBook db When i try to turn on iCloud contacts I get a message telling my that iCloud will merge its contacts with the ones already on my iPad not what I want Thats where my problem was Other apps that I tried apps designed to dedupe contacts crashed trying to load my AddressBook db After searching forums someone recommended this app and for the first time I actually got a record count and can see why most apps crash when trying to access my contacts So far DeleteQ crashed once when trying the remove duplicates function Now Im just going to delete all contacts and then try turning iCloud contacts back on So far its deleted 599 of 238189 contacts without crashing Wish me luck Update 24 hours after initial purchase app works well however it only deletes about 3000 contacts at a time and then the progress indicator speeds up significantly At about 60 or so the app crashes When I restart the app the new total record count drops by about 3000 Evidently nothing is deleted when the progress indicator speeds up So I only have to try this 67 more times to completely delete my contacts 201477 to go Hyoungnae if you can read this please take note and see what you can do Thanks Update 8613 day 5 wDeleteQ after keeping at it day night this app is working After getting below 200K contacts the delete duplicates actually gets past the 3000 limitation see above As the number of contacts continues to decrease the app continues to work better This morning I awoke to a Success message instead of a crashed app and only 7000 contacts I just selected all and am deleting these remaining contacts What a chore           Its working slowly and with some tedium

It worked awesome while deleting BUT it dunked to another phone and somehow deleted EVTH there too FTW Even iCloud couldnt restore It deleted EVTH everywhere Be aware Now Im screwed     Be aware

It seems like the app deleted duplicate addresses properly When I went back to delete a few names then deleted what I had selected everything was gone except for 48 contacts Very disappointing Now Ive lost over 300 contacts and theres no way to get them back     Very disappointing

I just deleted hundreds of contacts that have been cluttering up my contacts for years Does exactly what it says in the most efficient way Worth all 99 cents On the down side I now have to think of a new if Im ever in a full body cast with tons of time on my hands project                 Perfect

Why doesnt anyone make an app that will search my contacts by their COMPANY name and me do mass deletions that way Being able to delete dupes is nicedid that Being able to delete contacts with no email address is ok did that too But what I really need to be able to do is have my contacts displayed by COMPANY and let me delete one some or all of them in one shot If the developer of this app is reading these reviews can you add that feature           Its pretty good but

I originally gave this app one star see below In my frustration to remove my 25000 contacts I kept trying this app I finally realized that it was only deleting 3000 at a time So after a few more tries my contacts were all gone and I was able to sync with the Cloud GREAT APP Great idea but it didnt work for my situation Thanks to the Cloud I had over 25000 contacts Was able to clean up the Cloud and MacBook Reestablishing my iPhone with the Cloud only had an option of merging Very counter productive This app sounded like just what I needed It deleted all of my contactsor so the app said but nope there they were all freaking 25000 Maybe this app cant do that many contacts And Im okay with that But dont tell me you deleted my contacts when you really didnt                 Didnt work TRY TRY AGAIN

I used it once And was satisfied by this app It did what it is supposed to do                 Rather good

I had 480 contacts on an ipad that I wanted to delete The app has the option to select all so it was as simple as select all delete Why Apple does not have this as an option is beyond me When you have multiple devices using the same account it can be tricky to not affect the other devices when you use iTunes to change content on one device This app worked for me and I recommend it                 Just what I needed

Works just as expected There is an easy select tool that selects all contacts with no numbers stored to them or selects all with duplicates and then you can delete them It makes it Very fast simple                 Worth it

It did delete the contacts from my phone as well as all the other peoples phones on my computer so they lost all there important contacts if you want to use it dont use iCloud        No iCloud
