My alerts are set to only receive breaking news To me that means I should receive very few alerts Instead I get several a day about the dumbest things imaginable Im uninstalling the app because the alerts are driving me crazy Too much breaking news

I have so much trouble trying to get this app to work well that if I want to read the Free Press I usually open Safari and use the website It used to work well but ever since I downloaded the new app Ive had problems It could be at least a 3 to 4star app if it worked consistently Rather use Safari

Nicely organized and well written Im a former Michigan resident but even use this for national news This app doesnt contain a lot of frivolous junk Organized and appealing
This is the best place for sports information on Lions Tigers etc Mitch rocks too No other place for Detroit Sports

This app is great for news only Dont sign up for the news alerts There used to be one alert every other day with true breaking news like freeway closures etc now there are several per day with nonsense information Why the change Freep News only
I read the Free Press daily to keep in touch with the city I love but no longer live there I really like the Sports Section Staying in touch
