It does work for me but you do have to be moving IT SEEMED VERY ACCURATE We tested it in downtown LA and it tracked us at 5 mph up The one thing that gives it only 3 stars is the fact that you have be moving Also I dont think I very much use for it since I rather use maps to track me anyways but it does work It Worked For Me
Do not buy until they allow the compass to work without moving What is the point of having a compass if you cant get started in the right direction Crap

Given the limitations of the GPS module in the 3G iphone this app does a great job Not as slick as what you get in the 3GS but we cant all upgrade As long as you are moving this app does a good job and the author is continually improving it Good compass for the 3G

This app is horrible In my car the cruise control set at 65mph the app said I was doing 108mph The compass doesnt work at all And I can turn from right to left while standing still and the altitude will vary as much as 25 feet Dont waste your money Compass app
