Im changing review to one star Terrible balance and end game battles are impossible on easy Hey idiot designers Easy means easy not impossible I grinded for like 20 hrs to get all character lvl9 with best equipment you can buy I have tried 32 different combinations on the last lava atomic levels after that frigost transporter and I cant even get past the first wave of five You have serious balance issues You just made a happy customer mad And if its not fixed adjusted you will lose a loyal customer for life on iOS and pc And those tilting to avoid mini games are really annoying and hard also Why and how is that fun Having to repeat something for over an hour to get lucky enough to jerk my iPad just right to get past enemies that move so fast I cant see them move I like how you addict players with a fun fast start and then slam them with terrible balance Not a good business model Not really anything of a td game More of a tactical game If your bad ad combos and tactical strategies this isnt for you Otherwise come on in the water is fine I would almost like to see an in app purchase for money But it forces you to replay past levels with 2x old man to get some cash and rare items     Impossible end levels

This is a stunning game The art is lovely the animations fun fluid and interesting The gameplay is fun challenging without being frustrating or infuriating and the story is cute and amusing There is only one thing that this game lacks to keep it from being absolutely perfect lasting appeal The main quest while satisfying in length is not amazingly long and the fact that it only utilizes a third or so of the map makes it feel unfinished And the thing that is really missing Endless Mode Every Tower Defense game should have side challengesendless modes of differing strategieslevel layouts in order to extend the life of the game well beyond the Main questIve leveled all these fun characters to max level Now what There is nothing to DO with them now Give us an endless mode That would bring it all together                 Phenomenal except

This is an excellent game They dont charge real money to pursue the game unlike so many games now A lot of TD games charge money as u play the game Dofus has brilliant graphics and replayability Kudos to your staff                 Great game

Im glad I beat the game when you could use osa that couldnt summon tons of monsters to beat the boss but now its impossible           Why osa update

Dont get turned away by the reviews that mention the difficulty Yes the game gets hard but all the levels are repayable and you can go back to build up your strength and gear You have to put some thought into which chars you use and how you place them Its not a mindless game Also keep in mind that you can sell chars that are weak or poorly placed if playing levels where you cant move them                 Worth it

This is a great representation of the dofus universe The combat is fun and grows hectic so dont forget to use potions in those harder fights The mini games are lame but are easy enough to pass My only real complaints are that they only existing sprites items and maps and the story was pretty braindead I hope they bring more to ios islands of wakfu for example                 Great

You have a big issue balancing strength of all characters comparing with a mob so pls do something about it or else I will rated this app as a one star Btw I agreed with comment above                 Its even harder

The game doesnt allow you to properly improve your characters for battle insuring that you die     Overly difficult

Dofus is a good combination of tower defense and RPG Rated solely on the tower defense portions I would rate closer to a 4 out of 5 You have 10 different characters that you can summon most supporting one of four roles tank damage heal or support Early on the game is fairly simple and gives you a chance to work out some of the common character combinations as well as where to best place each character But it quickly becomes more difficult to plan out combats since you will be faced with many rows of monsters that you wont have much if any time to plan against You really only can plan for the first waves This will lead you to playing through a single wave multiple times and a single level even more times depending on the number of waves Best bet is to level up your different characters as high as possible by completing each level on each of the difficulties easy medium and hard Your safest bet is also to support a strong central defense with damage and tank support on the left and right of the battle field The most annoying thing about the game are the mini games Specifically the many ones that utilize the tilt feature of the iPad From the complete lack of physical memory involved all learning is visual based only no audio or physical cues on how far to tilt as well as some poorly designed elements due to certain monsters not being placed in the same spot each time I spent half an hour trying to do just the second fairground level with getting all the presents and all I got was a cramp from trying to control the tilt of my iPad for too long Really really really really need an onscreen joystick alternative for these minigames Also just as a note to others the spin the wheel gamble gives a message making it look like you should try again due to a malfunction Dont fall for it its just asking you to throw away more of your money on another spin           Good game horrible minigames

The mini games are pretty awful The artwork for the tilting game looks like it was done by someone else And the tower defense is interesting but not strategically great The artwork for most of the game is superb though and as a whole the game has a fun playful quality that I liked I ended up playing it for quite a few hours but in the end wondered if it was really worth it I wish the game was as good as the artwork Oh well hopefully they will bring the main Dofus game to the iPad           Decent game

Gorgeous charming visual presentation and clean fitting audio are bogged down by a rift in the gameplay mechanics Characters are unbalanced and enemies appear and move on the battlefield while your units must remain stationary In addition adding units to the battlefield feels wonky and takes a fair amount of resources to do The cost of items weapons armors etc is ludicrously high very early on and youll end up buying things for just a few units These things really take the wind out of the sails of what is traditionally the best part of tower defense games creating your own solution and replaying with different solutions as youll play a level over and over again just to place the same unit six times on the board and find the one solution to intercepting all the enemies All in all a good game that with a little balancing has the potential to be a great one           Superb presentation unbalanced gameplay

Why did they change the summoner to only one creature per line Whats the point of being able to summon a second creature then Totally gimped the game The game was friggen difficult already           Would of been 5 stars

I love the difficulty of the game at 3 stars 2 stars makes most levels easily doable Its not nearly as difficult as everyone makes it out to be You have to think to win of course me being a mega genius does make it a bit easier for me Btw use the poison guys they are my goto units                 I love the challenge

Been waiting for something that can occupy me hours This is the game Excellent game play and hours and hours of strategic fun If you like TowerDefence then get this Trust me you wont be disappointed TIP start off by building your characters on easy mode Focus on your first 2 characters fighter and archer then build up your healer                 Brilliant

This was a 4 star game til I hit level 7 At that point with the best gear I could buy I simply couldnt advance even on the easy level I then began the grind to 8 Unfortunately that meant running the same board over and over again After 20 runs and the mind numbing boredom associated with grinding I was only a third of the way to 8 At that point I realized the game simply isnt worth it Buy something else     Not worth the grind

This is a nice game but I agree with the other person The difficulty level is all out of whack Play easy its not too bad but then you play medium and get your backside handed to you if not that you barely make it through and have little chance to get the hard difficulty done I like a challenge and all and I like hat here are a variety of charactes to use but its almost too much to work with This one does this to work with this and blah blah blahi dont care Try to buy better equipment and such and its just too much info all the time Smplify and ease up on he difficulty Its a good game but gets too complicated for me and my lack of motivation to care Its a good game seriously it is but simplify things and make them a bit easier These are reasons why I dont play plants vs zombies anymore It got to the point too soon that I wanted to chuck my ipad at a wall because it was manufactured difficulty Hey how can we make this more difficultlets add friggin FOG Sorry got off topic but man I am frustrated with some of thes games and the way they sale the enemies and difficultyand let me buy some good weapons and crap as I have the money stop with the level requiremens If I have the money let me buy that stuffand dont inflate the cost to counterbalance things Im onto you              Fun

Ive played it for hours and I have to say its incredibly difficult I found myself playing the same level over and over again to try to find the right combo of heroes to use It seemed like I was always wrong Then I started stacking the summoners and began to finally win and progression was fun Now I come to find out that the game developers patched the game to stop this very technique I understand their reasoning but at least make the game a little easier so people dont have to resort to cheating or finding loopholes just to progress in the game When I first read the reviews on this game it sounded like final fantasy tactics which was a fantastic game Well this game is NOT fantastic and the only reason I played it so much was because I was determined to get good at it and to understand it However its so difficult that the game developers should be paying us to play it Not the other way around        I want to like this game

I have really enjoyed this game It is as is described a nice blend of rpg and castle defense I havent found any bugs and the game play is very interesting I really like the humor that is sprinkled throughout the game The minigames inside of this game are better than slot of the app store fare and they are not even the primary element to Dofus You will really enjoy this app Thanks Devs                 Great

Dofus is a great mix of a tower defense game and a role playing game You can level up and equip each of the heroes You can replay levels and change the difficulty there are lots of levels to play through The graphics are crisp and clean and look beautiful on the ipad This is a high quality game that is eaily worth the purchase price try the lite version and you will be hooked                 Just say wow a TDRPG

I am a big fan of MMORPG Dofus online and used to play every single day without getting bored An addictive fun challenging and brain mover game that made u think of every details strategically I am grateful for this app to exist in app store Although it is different then mmorpg it could be much better if it does Im loving it However i hope in the future upgraded version the characters could change their clothing or attire once they equip new ones just as what happen in mmorpg That will be more interesting But as for ipad version so far this app is good enough Cheers                 Future upgrade

Great mix of tower defense combat I like being able to customize and level up the characters and see them battle including needing their own armor Makes the tower defense genre come alive                 Love it

It is a nice game but I wont play it again until you can place units while the game is paused Its a way to hectic and unforgiving game not to have this feature 4 or 5 star review if they do this        Needs 1 fix

Dofus Battles is a great game with strategic depth and challenge lots of replayability and lots of woohoo moments when you scrape by the skin of your teeth The only downside I can give this otherwise great game is the acceleromoeter challenges which are technically optional but not very enjoyable This is a must have for anyone who wants a deep strategy experience with plenty of replayability                 Strategy tower defense who could ask for anything more

The only way to progress in the game is to spam the summoners or replay levels over and over again to gain experience Now that they gimped the summoner that leaves endless replays I sure would like the chance to play the other characters but they are all ridiculously underpowered Rebalance this game if you want anybody else to buy it because Im not the only one who changed his rating after playing for more than a few minutes What a shame     Imbalanced

This is a nice little game that ended up being surprisingly addictive It is nice to have some choice for equipment but it would also be nice to have branching skill paths for the different characters A few characters are also not that useful but not a major flaw Also grinding is unnecessary you can go through the campaign without replaying any levels for experience and gold but it does get challenging near the end if you do so              Fun Tower Defense with Leveling

Quite a nice little game challenging and fun Wish I could play while listening to my own music or audio books though              Worth it

I am really enjoying this game which strikes me as the tower defense form of Final Fantasy Tactics I am unfamiliar with the greater world in which the RPG takes place but thankfully from my perspective there is very little in the way of roleplaying or cutscenes to interfere with gameplay so the bizarre storyline can be safely ignored I do share another commenters critique though that some level grinding is required to survive levels even pretty early on in the game I would like to see the game designed so that one could strategize through them on the first go without having to first repeat previously played levels and upgrade equipment before advancing in the game           A fun but difficult style of gameplay

This game gave me hope for iOS gaming again In a world populated more and more by games that are full of ridiculous micro transactions this game stands out as an actual complete experience Great graphics and gameplay and I dont have to worry about hitting an invisible pay wall that makes the game unplayable I tip my hat to the developers thank you Worth every cent dont hesitate to pick this gem up                 Gives Me Hope
