Doom`s Knight

Should you be able to save a game and come back to it or do you have to completely finish a level once you start it I save on the map screen and if I die it will restart from my saved point But if I save a game and exit when I reopen the game it starts over I really need this to save correctly        Cant save

My original review gave it 5 stars but after playing it more I have to give it 3 stars because it doesnt save properly When they fix that it will be a 5 star app The way it is now if you save and keep playing it will save ok But if you exit the app and go back in you are back to the start of level 1 and you have to start all over again at the beginning with no weapons or ammo This means you can only play as far into the game as you can play in one sitting or else start a higher level with no ammo or weapons It also does not save your option settings Once you exit and go back in you have to reset all your options every time you play it ORIGINAL REVIEW If you like the original DOOM youll probably like this Same controls FPS format as doom Some of these other doom knockoffs are rail shooters or RP but not this one Once youve shot up all the levels on iPad doom try this great app with new monsters sounds music           Just like classic DOOM

A bunch of glitches keep this from being worth purchasing like the ability to save an start where you left off Graphics are nice but the preferences need to get reset each time I come back to the game DoomsDay yes DoomsKnight no     DoomsKnight

Dont waste your money You cant save them game thus have to start from beginning every time     Cant save

I got it when it was free and its very nice but you cant save so its hard to beat it And I cant find anyone on multiplayer lol                 Fun but not worth 99c

If your a fan of doom then youll definitely want to get this game I dont know if this is just a Doom WAD Either way you can tell there were a lot of improvements made The controls are more solid and the music is a lot more interesting than Classic Doom Dont get me wrong i love the original Doom but ive beat it so many times now that i had to stop playing it This is the game that ive been waiting for I hope they add more levels to be downloaded in the future Great game                 AWESOME

Ive attempted to play this game on both my ipod touch and ipad2 and after getting killed the game starts to get very sluggish and nearly freezes This seems to be a memory leak issue Ive even uninstalled multiple large apps and even uninstalled and reinstalled this app No joy Get killed game slows to a crawl I look forward to the update Had to remove the app for now              Great game but memory leak found

As others have mentioned this wont save my game Its fun to play but Im feeling kind of ripped off and disappointed        Fun but

The save function does not work The game is almost useless without it If they fix the save function I would recommend otherwise not     Save

I bought this game while it is a really good game I was disappointed by the fact that if I download the iPad app I still have to pay for iPhone app which is very frustrating because I paid for this app              Great but not universal app

Im having issues with this game which is it wont save my games even if I do click the save button it still wont save when I come back last time I was on level 4 when I come back when I click resume takes me back to level 1 episode 1 all that time lost On doom classic for iPhone it always saves my place but not in this doom People if your having the same problem wright a review and just tell me because they need to fix it But the game is still very good probably the best doom game out there But guys if you play this just play through the entire episode and you will be find                 My games wont save but despite that its still a very good game

Like other reviewers I lose all saves unless I play game in one sitting This seems like an elementary glitch to fix immediately PROBLEM SOLVED To return to saved games select resume This will take you to the very first level the small room contains a rocket launcher Pick it up and pull the trigger Your death leads you to a screen with saved game button Select it to return to your last saved position I know its a little inconvenient but it WORKS Note if you dont know to save during play select the map icon in the upper left corner then select save              Good but wont save

These old school games are better than all the other games in the app store You dont buy your way through the game like the foolishness I see on the top charts you play it and use your brain while doing so                 Old School Gamer in the House
