Really disappointing that this app hasnt been updated in two years I know that Nuance is still updating their Windows and Mac apps so its sad to see that theyre not showing any love for their iOS customers I mean the app is still letterboxed from when the iPhone 5 came out thats ridiculous        No Support

Listen folks it works if you work it I like dictating instead of typing because my iPhone 4s screen is small and this works for me I use it to dictate my emails and then just simply copy and pasted into the body of the email its worth it for me                 A

Im quite impressed with the accuracy with which this little app takes dictation I can see how it will save me time and help reduce symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome                 Useful app

I downloaded this app and it would always error It never worked on my iPhone     Never worked

I have used Dragon software on my iPhone for more than a year and am now experiencing a problem with emailing myself the text I never used to lose the text but now when I email a converted blog post it more often than not the text does not show up in my email inbox           Lost text

Doesnt record voice OR turn into text It literally does nothing     Crap Doesnt work at all

This app has such potential but alas Nuance has let me down Tell me how to clear the text Or how can I select a sentence easily You cannot not with this version There are better apps that do this much better Did I say there is no tech support on this app If you are going to do something do it right or dont do it Nuance you have the ability to make this app great Do it                 Shame on you Dragon

I did a few test sentences and all it wrote was for the oven I tried some more and it added the oven the oven for the oven Not even close to what I said     It only knows a few words

App continues to say to check the internet connection Well I did and its fine After a reboot and reinstall and the app still wont budge Ill just need to find a new solution     Wont even install properly

This app is old You cant keep recordings You cant share recordings with anything ie a blog w textaudio for ADA You cant open a recording already on your iPhone You cant choose a recording from soundcloud Dropbox box etc You cant do anything except stare at an outdated app the spits out back at you asks for money This company is like the countless others that did one thing well just sit on it If it werent for their IP contracts l royalty checks rolling in theyd be wiped off the texh scene     PoS outdated app thats too

Yall need to fix this app bc it just will not open and I have very important notes for class on here that I have not had a chance to save yet        FIX IT

This app has become a daily tool I use at my job I dictate daily to send myself notes that I use to write reports It does get a bit temperamental at times and that causes me to panic sometimes but the benefit out ways the hassle                 Awesome App I use it daily for more than a year

I simply speak as i was dictating a letter inserting the punctuation marks I want I simply say commaIts fantastic                 Excellent app

This is fourth attempt to try writing a review Keep getting Title or Name is taken Try Again I try Message disappears So thats a complaint I also discovered its a nuisance to cutpaste when sending iPhone texts        Mi3mi

Why must a note be deleted and irretrievable as soon as it is emailed As soon as you email a note it completely vanishes Very frustrating for my child working on homework who might need to do revisions That makes this unusable for us     Deletes notes

The recording time needs to be longer and the word processing should be done after not during a recording College students need better When this is fixed I will use it again     Too short

My sons school uses this app in his special education class They love this app and encourage me to use it for him at home My only complaint is we cant print from the app You either have to mail it or send it to social media              Good for students

I got frustrated because of the little errors in translation that I kept having to proofread so I tried several other dictation apps It was a relief to come back to this app and only have to worry about tiny clerical errors which after all are very easy to fix I really love this app              Love this app

As a longtime Dragon NaturallySpeaking user I have used the desktop application regularly for over a decade this iPhone app is nice to turn to for shorter dictation needs However there are 2 desperately needed upgrades that need to be made First youve got to give the user some control over the text theyve dictated AFTER leaving the app As it stands now the text remains This can be a good thing of course But what if you want to start dictating immediately upon launching the app As it stands now each time you launch youre presented with last dictation sessions text and you have to go through a multistep process of selecting and then manually deleting the previous text each and every time you launch This is monumentally frustrating Secondly the desktop application is wonderful at giving the user options to correct words that sound the same you dictated peace and it wrote piece as one example When editing text with the desktop application 99 of the time youll get to choose the other option as a portion of the editing process and quickly move on However with this app Ive been somewhat shocked at the lack of such options Clicking on one piece during the editing portion will 9 times out of 10 NOT bring up the alternative On this note all I can say is Wow What was Nuance thinking Lastly even though the title of the review note 2 desperately need changes allow me to add a 3rd there is no way for the user to send feedback through the appnothing in Settings or anywhere else Nuance for those in the know has a reputation of not actually wanting to know anything about their users experiences with their products They actually dont care for feedback at all so no surprise they didnt include this as a builtin portion of the app They should           Nice app but 2 key improvements needed

It needs some basic ideas that it is lacking possible connecting to computer saving to notes working with other apps other ideas that could be very promising for sure           Good app definitely worth it but still needs work

I definitely impressed by both the accuracy and the speed and the app works fantastic Its a great app to use                 Dictation app

I am writing this review on that dictate program just in order to show its actual level of accuracy It is not always right however you can typetap on what Im whatever writing is off and it gives a choice thats very close sounding I think this program is pretty great it does become more accurate the more you use it I love this program with the headset and all the whole thing for school I was wary of it here I didnt had not didnt trouble with texting on the touchscreen ending up with AutoCorrect choosing crazy words or typing really confusing and misleading text and so I Jossies chose to use internal system or Siri and that ended up making it worse and when I was driving and things like that I couldcouldnt look and review it and ended up sending even more wild or offbeat messages Thats why overall I really like this program and even if Im speaking low or fast or mumbling it is still does a really good job of detecting things and youeven without a headset For a free simple dictation system worry free as well I would give this program the best the gold standard the top rating              Very impressed

I am a high school student who has been assigned summer reading Part of my assignment was to create notes I had heard of this app and decided to use it to simply speak my notes Big mistake After reading several chapters and taking many many lines of notes I decided it would be smart to save my work After clicking the email option four times it opened I then proceeded to email the pages of notes to myself After I clicked send THE APP FROZE I then clicked the home button after waiting about 10 minutes and opened the app again I was in disbelief when I found out that my hours of notes had been erased     everything had been erased

All this does is allow to dictate text It will not open programs or help you navigate your phone Its nothing like the computer program     Hasnt updated since 2013 Siri does more

Its not great app sometimes it want recognise your words correctly and u need to speak louder and graphically and functionally needs a lot of improvement     Ok app

Trying this app as compared to the built in voice recognition The built in recognition on the iPad is far superior This app missed many words as I was dictating There is no realtime feedback Realtime feedback can be critical in ensuring your message is being recorded accurately In addition the built in recognition works on every screen and for every purpose If you want to do notetaking use something like Evernote to track your notes while using the builtin voice recognition to do your dictation        Interesting concept poor execution

So besides the fact that the app hasnt been updated since the iPhone 4s in terms of looks I really expected it to show me what I was saying as I was saying it like the iPhone dictation does If I have something really long to say I would like to see it as I am saying it so I can make corrections as soon as I see the mistakes I will not be using this until these problems are fixed     Unusable for me

Other reviewers have noted that this app has some hiccupsworks best when stationary etc But overnight it has changed my commute Can dictate tasks or emails while walking Generally very good              A great free tool to help productivity

This app needs a lot of work particularly buttons that explain more ways to utilize the app in its entirety theres no help When I look for a way to throw out my text after having dictated and copied it it shows no way to delete I close the app I open the app its still there I dont understand how this could be so quizzical It should be simple I havent tried to talk a long time on it yet Already too annoyed        Awkward app needs explanatory buttons

The Apple iPhone speech to text works just as well This app seems to stop listening every 30secs or so it appears it can only handle so much in its a buffer I left this review using Apples speech to text        Unimpressed outofthebox speech to text works just as well

I love this app and use this for Homework It doesnt work that well with the built in microphone but I use a wired headset and it works perfectly and gets every word I say If you have them use the Apple EarPods or any kind of headset or earbuds with a microphone built in to the I wrote 2 pages in 5 minutes and it is the best app ever Get the app it is the best on the App Store and it is the best for the price                 Awesome App

Ive been using iOSs builtin speech recognition for the last three years or so usually when I need to send a text and dont have my glasses and have generally been happy with its performance I decided that it would really help my arthritic hands yes I sound old but Im not if I could dictate large portions of a book that Im working on Unfortunately this app really cant understand my deep California accent Even simple sentences go badly wrong when dictated via Dragons app Ive done voiceover work so I understand how to enunciate and slow down my usual rapid speech pattern No matter how careful I am the results are awful I gave the app access to my Contacts but marveled on it missing the spelling for Smith and Bates That took some doing I look forward to a better tweak of the voice recognition in the future I        Very poor speech recognition
