it only hides the name of the contact from your message list doesn t hide the contact from the address book past messages calls or recently texted when you go to compose a new message don t waste your time it s useless only because 1 star is as low as it goes BrooklynRenee
So this does block the number however in my case I have texts from an ex that I don t want to delete And because of this I can still text them from that text thread The only way that gets it to work is to delete those texts Also the person can still text you too if you do block their number with this app so it s great for no contact unless they initiate it good app Tone'sTunes

I have never written an app review before but I figured I owed the makers of this app one since it is seriously rocking my world After being dumped and having my heart utterly crushed I was barely holding on to the self control preventing me from sending dozens of angry pathetic texts to my cheating ex So I sought out an app that would prevent me from contacting him and I found this You have to reset it ever 2 days which Ive been doing for several weeks My only suggestion is that I would love to see the amount of time you can block somebody bumped up This has saved me from myself Thanks for developing exactly what I needed Helping me get over my ex

My phone still showed the contact in texts also it seems like you can respond to texts so it hardly blocks at all Not very effective

Listen if you have a problem with CALLING people drunk than this app is great If you want to prevent yourself from texting that ex at 2 am after you have been out all night with the girls move along This does nothing to prevent texting only calling You are better off givig your friend the number you dont want to text and then deleting it from your phone Fine for drunk dialing but who dials anymore
