Dulcimer

Im a dulcimer teacher was shown this app at a workshop I was presenting Its cute the sampling is better than most music programs I have I can work out patterns while riding in the car so could see it to be of benefit                 Fun

Of the music apps Ive tried so far this is the best Beautifull looking Simple enough for nonmusicians to use and yet all the right advanced features Ie Recording to make it inspire a real player Yes touch sensitivity would be impossible on a phone                 Fantastic

This has definitely become my favorite musicinstrument app alongside Bloom Plays smoothly with very realistic sound The notes are crisp and flow beautifully from one chord into the next I highly recommend this app Thoroughly impressed                 Very well done

Ive been playing Hammer Dulcimer for a very long time and this is really very well done It is the equivalent of a 98 9 treble courses8 bass courses instrument which is exactly like my old Sam Rizetta Dulcetta If youre used to playing a 1211 or other larger instrument you may find it a bit of a challenge fitting the tunes on this smaller layout but it is possible I was able in the first 10 minutes able to play several OCarolan tunes like Si Beag Si Mor and Planxty Fanny Poer complete with the right hand chord Flams and chords all work very well The only thing missing is any real way to control the volume as you would with real hammers but this is really very well done I havent tested the recording features yet but the live play is excellent and is primarily what I am interested in The sample quality is very good and overall the instrument sounds excellent when plugged into an external amp                 Very well done

Love it Great clear tone quality and dynamic action If youre looking for an app that recreates the feeling of playing a hammered dulcimer on a fretted board this is as good as an app can get It would be great to have a larger amount of strings as most concert versions of the instrument tend to have but there are just so many strings that can fit within the size limitations of an iPhones screen I really enjoy the sound Thanks                 Best hammered dulcimer app out there

I actually found myself bopping around like I do when Ive got real hammers in my hands Wonderful app that lets me take my hammered dulcimer anywhere AND I never have to tune it Huzzah Really wonderful Sounds terrific and the action is decent although it took some practice for me to get my hands moving quickly enough to mimic the speed of hammers This app has actually got me playing music again                 Great dulcimer
