I had issue with BOX syncing when I used with both home MAC OS PC and work Windows PC Multiple duplicates created when I purchased new computer for home or changed laptops at work My BOX file became so bloated I could not manage anymore I contacted BOX and they had no solution other than having me manually correct This would have taken forever THis week I got yet another new home laptop and did not want to see even more dups created once I installed BOX I installed Duplicate File Cleaner app on my home MAC and viola 100GB of dups found Not only did this clear from home PC but also deleted all dups from BOX cloud during BOX sync to cloud I did have to give approval for this with shared file folders I did back up all deleted to external drive from trash before final delete just in case I would highly recommend this just in case So far I do not appear to be missing anything Well worth price and my time to manually do I have tried other programs that did not find nearly as much this app did Highly recommend                     Lifesaver for dealing with BOX issue icancsf

Does what it says it does Due to syncing over time iPhone iPad wi fi sync new phones etc some photos end up being duplicated Until now it was a major pain to try and remove them one at a time and in some cases the duplicates would appear in different places on my timeline It took about 45 seconds to find the duplicates a few minutes of me verifying that the duplicates were indeed that yes it compares size timestamps and that was it For a very reasonable price it did it all quickly accurately and moved the duplicates to the trash where I COULD recover if I felt the program didn t do it s job but it did Free space heaven Can t give enough praise for this product I checked a few of the 1 star reviews and they are just feature requests really don t understand why they downgraded the product because they would like to have X Y or Z feature The product does exactly what it says it does Quickly accurately reasonable price                     10 stars if I could Absolutely amazing MintDragon

I would give this app 6 Starts if possible I have been sorting over 30 000 pictures and movie files after a dataloss for months now I had a very large external drive crap out and it just so happend to be at a time when I had time machine not work and my double redundant backup process not work ARGH in a nutshell I had a file recovery system scan for 3 days and was able to revover all the media however no file names or metadata was saved I used lightroom and finder to manually sort for days and exported full versions with limited metadata for all but ended up creating a mess of other duplicates with new numbering orders blah blah blah Tried to use many other file dupe finders with no luck the programs always saw everything as different files when it was clear some MOV files were the exact same size down to the 1 10 of a MB This program freed up 15 GB of dupes in 5 min and gave me immediate confidence to hit DELETE Huge wieght off my chest Thanks DEV Team whoever you are                     OMG Renderfi

This is a beautifully designed app that is unfortunately hampered by some serious usability issues 1 If you click on Display Result during a scan it stops the scan Since scans are slow it would be nice to be able to work on interim results while the scan is running 2 If you try to go back to the scan screen while viewing results it resets the scan and you have to start over and scans are slow if you have a lot of files 3 You can t delete a few files at a time as you work your way down the list once you hit the delete button the scan is reset and you have to start over 4 Once you go the the results screen any folders you selected for the scan are cleared when you go back to the scan screen The application also froze up on me during my first use while I was selected files to delete requiring me to force quit the app and relaunch it which of course reset my scan results That drops my rating down from 2 1 2 stars to 1     Beautifully designed app that is hampered by some serious usability issues Brent Wood

Trying to find something that truley cleans up duplicates in my Apple Photos library not something that just removes the master files Sure this found dupilcates once I manually added the library since the built in button didn t work properly and it will remove the files in the library but the thumbnails are still there and show up in the library I could care less about the disk space looking for something that literally cleans up what I m seeing in the albums etc         Photos library support TheOriginalTurboTed

I got this piece of faulty software because I had quite many duplicate pictures on my Photos gallery The good part it seems it got rid of those duplicates The bad part It did it corrupting my actualy gallery I can no longer export pictures directly from Photos Now I have to open the Photos package copy the picture I need and finally crop it or resize it manually     Good Bye Pictures Anzurio
