This app will act as a hearing amp a hearing tester that seems to be very accurate if the instructions You may want to dig out those Apple earbuds as the testing was calibrated for them still the software has settings for a few other types If you or a loved one have hearing loss and would like occasional help by ALL means get it                     Excellent app goes well beyond novelty blanford thowns

This app has improved my work life so much I can actually hear people in meetings I don t use it at home much because I don t want to be tethered to my phone while I make dinner etc Would be nice if it worked with Bluetooth so people wouldn t see my earbuds and think I m listening to music But when I explain what I m doing everyone thinks its so cool I would definitely recommend trying this before shelling out thousands for a hearing aid                     Best app I have DianeK66

Excellent app Hearing test compare almost exactly the same as professional audiologist test Have had 4 hearing aids and this works better in my opinion Not convenient as hearing aid but sound quality is much better                     eartrumpet bob6515

Terrific support and a very intriguing and well designed app I love the hearing test feature to perhaps inform me when I need to break down and get a standard hearing aid I don t need one yet and this app may hold it off a few years I havent tested it on the field yet but my killer application would be to be able to keep up with business table conversations in loud restaurants and bars So far the only way for this app and perhaps others to use the iPhone body mike as input is to use it with non miked earbuds else wise the headset mike gets used which is not as close to the speaker However the application does work with my Bluetooth Plantronics earpiece yet again engages the earpiece mike as input This is not what I am really after but it is intriguing that my Bluetooth is now a hearing aid of sorts for only 4 Unfortunately the Plantronics has insufficient volume for loud environments I m going to continue doing some experimenting with other headsets Until then just having the hearing test feature and the automatically tuned filter it a terrific gift for those who cannot afford or don t want expensive hearing aid equipment with lack of user control                     Works great with iPhone 4 and iOS 5 Searsjames

Got a couple good tests out of this app that seem to put me very close to actual audiogram The app now crashes in the middle of nearly every test Tried setting auto lock on phone to never and still crashes I would highly recommend the app if the bugs are fixed On IOS 5 iPhone 4s     Crashes in the middle of a test savethefam

We gave this a try with an 89 year old with substantial hearing loss The hearing test confirmed what he had been told by the audiologist The hearing enhancement worked better and was more user friendly then the 4 000 hearing aids As soon as it s compatible with Bluetooth he will be use this app instead of the hearing aids                     This app is great redhead italian

I ve tried several hearing apps and this one really impresses me Unlike others it doesn t just tell you whether or not you have a hearing problem but it actually analyzes the problem in each ear and then goes the extra mile of offering a temporary solution via the ear horn When my 83 year old mother uses the ear horn she can actually enter into perfectly normal conversations without having to constantly ask others to repeat themselves Yay that alone is worth the price                     Wow Overdaedge

The hearing enhancement was a bit overwhelming to use at first with all the features It cannot compete with real hearing aids but it works very well especially when considering the price The description written by the programmer states the capabilities and shortcomings of the hearing enhancement tool very accurately and I would recommend to read it prior to purchasing the app The hearing test part is almost flawless I find myself using this app often and I look forward to future updates                 Nice app S.Parker33
