Just like our iPhone app, you can create accurate MLA, APA, and Chicago style citations in seconds by scanning a book bar code or by typing the name of a book. Build and manage your ...
I like the convenience of this app and the general ease with which it functions But it needs a couple things specifically web and journal article citations Im a college student and use books scholarly journal articles and web sources as my main three citations and I dont like having to go back to the website for two of those           Needs some more features
Until this app can save directly to your EasyBib account either as a new bibliography or to an existing one it is useless The suggested email solution is ridiculous and cumbersome You have to add each citation by clicking the link in the email and then confirming it in the browser Being able to scan is great but you have to incorporate the data to be useful It reminds me of the old Seinfeld episode where Jerry comments that the restaurant knows how to take the reservation but it doesnt know how to hold the reservation There is a similar flaw with this app        Not Quite Ready
Great app scans so quickly its awesome i wish it just had url citing need to be added              Wonderful Start
This app is great if you only want to cite alreadypublished books that it has precited in its data banks but there is no manual entry option and you arent able to cite anything that is not strictly a book I love books but there are other ways of retrieving information that this app seems to be unaware of I cant cite websites abstracts documentaries pamphlets artworks legal works or the like Dont even bother with this app the website is much better if you want to cite things        What
You cant cite a website           Citing websites
Almost no one uses books for research anymore everyone uses the Internet so why would you only make it for citing books     No website
It is always nice when a app does everything it says it will to perfection Its nice how EasyBib is like that The barcode scanner works flawlessly and is very well implemented Congrats to user friendliness it is as intuitive as a apple app with a swipe to delete and easy emailingSo now to why I docked it a star1 It is missing any other ways to enter in citations besides searching for book title and barcode scanning I am unable to enter in lectures or webpagesEnjoy a cool free app              Everything but the web
Without an option to cite more than just books this app was pretty much useless to me I deleted it just minutes after I downloaded it     Nearly useless
This app is great for booksworks great when searching the title Maybe on the next update you could add the citations of URL addresses so I can cite webpages and online resources That would be great Thanks           No website citations
As less and less research comes from traditional physical sources it makes me wonder why there is no support for web resources articles blog posts videos images etc available within the app I realize you can go to the website for this but it doesnt make sense to force users to go to more than one place to use your service This could be a really useful app if all of the features available on the website are added to the app including account integration The way it is now I have no desire to recommend this to my colleagues and students           Could be great with more features
I owned this app for 30 seconds before I uninstalled it While the website is powerful flexible and extremely helpful this app does none of that The biggest problem is that it only accepts books as valid sources Just depressing     What a waste of my time
I only needed it for citing books which it does quickly and easily It even lets you emails the compiled citations to yourself Worked great for me                 Handy app
I am a religious studies major and all of my papers are in MLA format Ive long been using the EasyBib website to help me cite sources properly in my papers I was excited to see an EasyBib app for the iPad but found it to be severely lacking If the EasyBib app offered even only a handful of the features that make the online version great Instead you can create and email but not save sources frombooks only It includes a barcode scanner but after 10 books I could only get it to read one Pretty much useless     Disappointing
The idea is awesome and the app works good The scanner feature works perfect with me as well as the search by name and ISBN But some improvements would be great Possibility to copy single titles by pressing and holding Direct export to Pages and othes iOS word processors Manual including of a not found book           Very good but needs some improvements
needs to have bibliography capacity for more than books Very disappointing and almost useless Just go online        disappoinging
I really like this app but I wish that it could search websites too because I need that really bad              Good but needs more
Great idea but the scanner doesnt work Ill wait for a better version before trying it again        Not ready for prime time
They definitely need to let you cite more than just books Hardly anyone uses them anymore        Needs a way to cite more than just books
My only gripe is that you cant cite websites which is pretty much everything I use        Its Good for What Its Worth
This works pretty well it features lots of books including multiple versions of the same book The only complaint is that the scan feature is useless Using iPad 232 GB           Decent for a free app
This app is okay for citing books but I would like to be able cite other types of sources I dont think you can unless I just havent figured it out yet           Okay but
For websites Dont get it     Useless
Im disappointed that you cant use web citations but I was amazed that I could just know the book title and be given the rest of the info           Fast and easy
The app is awesome but I think u should add more than just books in the app              Excellent
This app just made book reports so much easier Its so useful fast and no adds This app rocks                 Great App
All this app does is crash In fact this app deserves negative stars And you can only cite a few books     Not even 1 star
This app DOES NOT scan properlyNot sure why but iPad 2 Im using just didnt pick up the barcodes Search works ok though Disappointing overall        Nice idea but
