Needed something just like this for use with South Beach Diet and thought I had it until it became obvious that you cant add your own categories thats all it would take to get 5 stars from me        I would like to give it a higher review

Frustrated This appeared to be just what I was looking for Too bad I didnt see last update was years ago And reviews were not listed most recent firs or I would have seen the June review that said dont buy App still provides a basic check list as pictured but NO customization for genderpersonal goals or tracking each day for a week as described Waste of money     DO NOT BUYINACTIVE
This got two stars because people expected a calorie counter which it isnt This is just a system of icons for checking off the food groups and its a great way to track whether youre getting the right amount of fruits and veg For instance I just came home and ate an apple and some zucchini because the app showed I was short Would be nice if they had preggy diets pre programmed though                 Good for specific needs like pregnancy

This is nothing more than a food pyramid checklist No real information If all you want to do is quickly keep track of types of foods you have eaten for the day then this app is for you If you want more in depth information with regards to food groups and nutrition then DO NOT get this app I find it useful since all I want to do is keep track of my food pyramid So for the reason I got it I give it 35 Although its a good app it should be around the 99 price range or even Free           Just a checklist
What I like about this app is that I have done weight watchers in the past so I know the benefits of healthy eating and how it works well when you write it down But I have been doing it so long that I need a middle ground Not journaling everything but checking off the basics If you have a good understanding of healthy eating this is the app for you I would like to see the ability to add Vitamins an exercise box and other goals Then this could become a checklist for my whole day week              Easy to use easy to keep using

I like this simple app I was able to put in my customized nutrition given to me by my Nutritionist Dr however its missing the fatssweets to check off This is super important to keep track of Strangely you can add your fats and sweets in the customized profile etc but does not show in the checkoff area This is very important Hope this is added soon           Good App to follow Nutrition Guidelines BUT needs fatssugars added

This was exactly what I was looking for This isnt supposed to be a fully featured dietary app but a simple food group checklist Its great for those just trying to hit the correct amount of food groups per day Its an assist to more fullyfeatured calorie counters not a replacement                 Good and simple

An absolutely perfect app Just what I needed I know portion sizes I just wanted a simple graphic tracker that didnt require slow and frustrating food searches This app fits the bill Im so excited The only option I would like is to be able to fit all the icons on one screen Love this                 Exactly what I needed
Great idea the simplicity is the key BUT Needs more options under each category in the Custom Profile eg Legumes are completely missing from the list and it would be nice to differentiate between types of vegetables say salad greens are completely different than potatoes when it comes to nutritional value and goals also Sweets shouldnt be under the same category as Fats because there are healthyessential fats like avocado and coconut etc Developers please at least add the option of creating your own category subcategory under the Custom Profile tab Simple is great but not when its limiting        Not a complete list of nutrients No custom categories items

This app is perfect for someone who wants to improve their eating and even lose weight but get bogged down counting calories or logging individual foods If you want a high tech app that will count every vitamin mineral calorie this isnt for you but it doesnt mean that this is a bad application Some of these reviews are people rating this application on features it isnt even meant to have That said I would like to see more detailedextensive pyramid guidance and possibly the ability to chart and receive averages even without that though this application fits the bill for me                 Perfect in its Simplicity

This is the WORST app Ive ever experienced If Im PAYIN for something I expect it to deliver This was a joke it had the 4 icons for each food group suggestion for serving portion and a list of 46 items that qualify for each category Then you simply mark off the icons as you want There is no calorie counter no way to look up other foods no nutrition counter pure garbage Dont waste your money     Dont make same mistake I did

Exactly what I need I couldnt find an app for pregnancy anywheres to keep track of my daily nutrition I stumbled across this one and after fully understanding how to work it i love it Study the nutrition pyramid on the internet first to fully understand If you are pregnant and need more of one food group than another you can customize your own meal plan instead of using the default average female plan this app offers I also love the examples on the flip side letting me know what is considered a serving of each food group Great app                 Great for pregnancy

This app is very good for what it is It is NOT a calorie counter or a detailed nutrient tracker It is a tool for people like my pregnant self who want to keep track of the major food groups It lets you customize your grains fruit veggie dairy protiens water and sweets goals and then you simply check them off as your day goes on I try to stick to only whole foods and this a great tool for me to make sure i am getting a healthy balance I didnt give it 5 stars bc ideally i would like it to allow you to add your own categories or else have a few more categories like vitamins and healthy oils Overall i think this is a great simple app              Great simple tool
