I want to like this game so much But it crashes constantly I ve installed the latest updates I m running one of the best possible hardware configuartions for the game But inevitably about an hour and a half in it crashes every time I start a battle Infuriating     Could be great but isn t Crashing issues theStorv

I love this game and was excited to see it available on the OSX platform Unfortunately after dropping the for it I find it won t even download I ve tried stopping and restarting Restarting the computer etc No matter what I do it just hangs Very frustrating This is my biggest complaint about the App store There s no recourse you re just out the money UPDATE Finally got the game to download Once the download completed the installation went fine I played through the first couple of chapters in the Campaign read here stayed up for hours only to have it dump my progress when I quit When I started up the next time there was no save file I tried again saved a game and tried to load only to find that there were no saved game files Not sure what s causing this could be my computer but I can t find any files anywhere in the game or on my system Fun to play at this stage but I don t spend any time on campaigns as I can t save my progress UPDATE 10 2017 Whatever the issue was with the saving resolved I enjoyed playing this game for some time but now it crashes constantly Makes it completely unplayable Nothing has changed on my system so I don t know what is driving this I have sent MULTIPLE crash reports to the developer with no resolution or response Bottom line at this point don t waste your money It s a great game when it works but it seems to spend far more time malfunctioning than it does working properly         Would be a great game if it were playable Kilroy164

I m a big fan of Napoleon Total War and thought that this would be better or at least just as good It is not It is cartoonish dated and has nothing of the graphics play or feel of Napoleon If you re thinking of buying this because you enjoy Napoleon think twice How I wish I spent that money elsewhere And no you won t get your money back if you pay download and then realize how inane this game actually is     Awful cavscur

Let me be clear right off the bat I love the gameplay in ETW The battles are fun the campaign map is immersive and the AI actually fights back BUT The game crashes ALL THE TIME On multiple occasions Ive spent HOURS on a campaign only to get 30 years in and the game crashes at the same specific spot everytime literally making the game unplayable If you want my advice I d say save your money and just illegally pirate the game it ll probably run and crash the same amount but you wont have wasted 30 dollars on a defective product you l have gotten it for free         Great Gameplay Horrible Game stuts111

This was the best strategy game until Shogun 2 and Rome 2 were released for mac The game gives a little too much power to line infantry and not enough to cavlary It is not as exciting as other games in the series because it is primarily ranged warfare with the exception of a few epic bayonet charges Every city looks exactly the same Also siege battles are not the best working thing in the world It is still a decent game but it could have been VERY good game I would suggest Rome 2 or Shogun 2 over it though I still waiting for a medieval 2 game for apple though Medieval 2 was the best game of the total war series                 Goodish game Gdbkhfvngcdhnccgh

This game is amazing Besides some dissapointing features like having to modify the game files to put the graphics above medium without a 512mb graphics card but there is a lot of pros However it just isn t as fun as RTW is and that game is cheaper The range focused combat isn t fun to watch and the meele combat is disappointing Consider your purchase but it is a very fun game on it s own                 Not Rome Not Napoleon but Definatly Good epikplayer

This game is great and I have logged 300 hours on my pc but I wanted to have it on my MBA as well for vacations and airport boredom The version on the Mac will start to crash after atleast your 4th campaign in the year 1780 it will continue to do this no matter how many campaigns you start There is currently NO resolution to this bug from iTunes support Steam or Total War themselves Buy at your own risk as this game has many bugs and iTunes suuport is very hesitant to work with you on this issue         Great game just not on Mac Kyleporker
