Best sudoku app out there that Ive found after years of trying them Pro Tip click on the cell thats already highlighted so nothing on the board is now highlighted then select any pencil or ink number at the bottomside and it should turn green You can now run around the board putting marks down without having to select a number every time Best Sudoku

This app is great not just for providing a constant source of puzzles to solve but the way it presents hints as a way to learn puzzle solving techniques is amazing Tap hint to get a nudge in the right direction If you need more it details the type of logical solution and access to a learn tutorial that shows you samples of why that logical step is valid and how to spot them in the future Challenging and educational

I cant imagine a better app for Sudoku puzzles It has daily puzzles at numerous levels and always lets you know how your time compares with others who have worked the same puzzle It has a scan from camera feature that makes it easy to import puzzles from newspapers or magazines It has multiple tools to help a user if needed including a very useful hint function that doesnt just give you part of the answer but tells you what to look for so that you can find the answer yourself And if you dont understand a certain technique for solving a puzzle it has detailed explanations to help you learn Best Sudoku App

The simplicity of the two number boards makes the learning curve pretty short The options are robust which allow lots of ways to enjoy the game There is no line or block highlighting which I miss Many of my errors come from forgetting to switch back to the pencilnote board All in all though it is a nice app Nice app

The teaching tools in this Sudoku are amazing and really help you to get better if you want to Each technique is explained and if you ask for help it starts by pointing you to the technique that will work in this situation It really helps you to learn to spot these on your own I also love being able to play on my original iPad using iOS 5 I cant upgrade because iOS 6 and above wont work on the original iPad Always a fun diversion and a great way to get better
