ePaper - Sketch, Write, Draw, Outline and color on a Digital Paper Notebook

This could have been a great alternative to Paper by 53 But it is lacking some very basic things that make these type of book collection apps appealing and unique from a drawingpainting app and it is buggy IMHO it also lacks the clean and simple aesthetics of Paper by 53 The first thing I noticed was that you cannot choose your own cover design There are no options at all you are stuck with the same pale blue cover for any and all of your notebooks Another basic feature should be ease of use I understand that there are more options in this app for the brushes and this company makes great brushes which also show up in there other apps and that is a good thing but as another reviewer mentioned the previews of the brushes are unnecessarily tiny I really like the idea of the worn paper look however the ornate scrollwork on the border should be optional The in app purchase of background sets is a good idea but it is unclear whether the scrolls will still be there The bug issue I experienced was the type tool Once selected I was unable to escape that mode without completely closing the program It also crashed on me when tried to add a page within full page view If these issues are addressed I believe this app has great potential I hope you find this helpful           Great idea Needs work

Very fun app with big calligraphy potential Need 2 fixes Slow responsedelay in tapping to change background Slow responsedelay in first inking This is a direct hit to the apps functionality and usefuless           Need fixes asap

The are plenty of different tools to use and it is very responsive while in use Cant really say anything bad about it                 Love it

This app is a wonder addition to the iPad making it more useful than it already is The variety of writing drawing tools in the app is wonderful This is great for school work or just plain doodling                 Amazing

Counting out the bugs this app is great The main bug I get is when I use the multitask swipe open two apps and switch from them with a swipe of five fingers the writing area goes black and I have to erase the black as squares Also the text tool sometimes doesnt let my text show I reset it and it showed countless copies of my text and my drawing was gone Please fix these bugs Without them this app would be magnificent Even more than it is now of course              Meh

I can scroll through the instruction book and I can make a new book with ugly tan decorated pages but cannot find any tools to draw import photos or anything else All I have is a trash can What is the problem     Does not function

Its a shame about this app as you do get a lot including terrific features that Paper does not have like allowing type fonts photos color mixing at no extra cost adjustments of penpencil shading and style lots at no extra and pressure etc adjustments Also like background choices But its really buggy and I cant recommend it till these are fixed Primary of these it keeps crashing Open a book turn a page go for a different toolit quits Secondary you cant name the notebook or alter the cover Fix the bugs folks and Ill happily up the number of stars        Keeps Quiting

This app is truly amazing Whether you want to write a creative book journal or draw this app truly has it all You dont have to purchase extra brushes or colors like other free apps You can upload your own pictures and then send your final product as a PDF kindle I think to read it on there and many other apps The problem is whenever I start a new page the app crashes Its frustrating If this is fixed I will give it 5 stars              Amazing app but some bugs

I want to change background to plain white how I want the words to be typed how I do not like the baby blue cover jacket Am I stuck Not worth it     Limited choices

I downloaded this app hoping to have some flexibility in design However all I have been able to do is create a new book and add pages I do not have access to any of the toolstext color or background Where are these located     Cant find tools

This app offers a lot but there are also quite a few bugs In particular when you choose the Type option a text box comes up and you can enter your text however there seems to be no way of getting OUT of the Type option other than closing down the app and reopening it I too would give the app more stars if bugs of this sort were fixed Thank you           Great potential but buggy

With so many brush types available I would like to see them more easily grouped when I needed a particular style You could also delete some of the brushes because many are so closely related As its presented now its too overwhelming and frustrating to use Im only keeping it for a while hoping for a muchneeded update before eventually deleting it        Organization

I use this nearly on a daily basis Love the look love the functionality One thing I would request is a black paper background like a silent picture narration screen update since the most recent update it regularly crashes without saving most likely to happen when turning a page or tilting the device           My favorite of the journal apps

What could propel this app to the top of the charts is simply to offer various logarithmic sheets like two or threecycle and combinations of coordinate grid and log grid For the scientific and math fields needless to say this would be greatly appreciated And for the classroom it would be essential app to have                 A Suggestion For Improvement

I wish I hadnt bought this app It has potential but is very buggy Pages are too large and cut off access to the tools Enter text and the only way to get out is to close the app I will change my rating when the Developers fix the issues Until then my advice is to NOT BUY     Frustrating

Ive been trying out several sketchingdrawing apps to find the ones I find most useful for my tinkering doodling Im new to this app but it is fast becoming one of my favorites My biggest complaint is it crashes more often then I like Also I find using text section pretty awkward to work with although the nice selection of fonts colors and font adjustment are a huge plus making it worth the hassle Of course theres always improvements that could be made The improvements Id like to see 1Id like the brush preview boxes to pop out bigger for bettereasier viewing 2 It would be a great timesaver to have a bigger variety of set colors so I wouldnt have to fool with adjusting colors 3 A more detailed version of instructions would be helpful for beginners as well as another timesaver 4 The ability to adjust individual line widths opacity would add to the experience 5 Id love to be able to change the book cover to something more personalized Not a deal breaker just a perk I feel its important to mention the above improvements are mere suggestions in no way are they intended as criticisms There are a lot of garbage apps out there THIS certainly is NOT one of them Thanks for creating it           Review

I saw all the wonderful reviews and then bought it only for it to crash when I copy and paste notes from my built in notes app PLEASE FIX SOON     disappointment
