So excited to have found this service My daughter has read around ten books in the past few hours and she loves reading on Epic It costs 499 a month but thats nothing when you realize some of these books normally cost 20 a piece And you get thousands of them The books are interesting to kids too theyre current and fun lots of award winners Its AMAZING                 Amazing deal for so many quality books

The voices on the Read to Me books are very monotonous and boring Children need to hear good examples of expression and fluency which this does not have The playstop button usually covers some of the words so kids cant read along with the book        Read to Me section is boring

Seems like a great app 499 a month is silly No way I can afford this so I deleted it immediately Sure I can get a free month but what good is that           Seems good

Its kind of good until it tells you that you have to pay for it I know its books in all but really I dont think that we should have to pay for it        Ok

Our second grader now has required reading 20 minutes a night and this app has been a godsend Were not running around to the library all the time or looking for books around the house weve read 2 dozen times before She quickly finds books she enjoys reading and doesnt fight us to sit down and do her reading I think it all comes down to having so many choices of books she gets to pick what she likes and that inspires her reading                 Wonderful for school

It advertises as free and its a total lie Only the first month is free then it costs you This is absolute garbage     False advertising

The one thing I like about Epic is that the books are not animated with all kinds of visual distractions like other book apps we have tried that in my experience didnt have parent controls to turn off certain features My son has sensory issues and those books with all the bells and whistles become more important then the story With Epic he listens to the story while looking at the illustrations or in the case of audio books he listens to the story really listens and is starting to ask questions Parents of autistic sensory processing kids know what Im talking about Thanks Epic                 Epic works well for my autistic son

Like the variety of books but I constantly have to reset the preferences of books Need to fix that issue              Great app but doesnt save your preferences

Im a 4th grade teacher and this app is a must have Seriously this app is amazing Whenever I do a read aloud I use this app Whenever I want the students to practice reading by themselves I use this app Whenever I want the to practice picking books for themselves and pick genres for themselves I use this app This app is an essential tool in my lesson planning                 Best Kids Book App Ever

I loved the idea of it I started downloading books for reading offline Then I noticed that they werent all showing and thought maybe I can only have so much downloaded So I started deleting but then the older downloads showed up on the list I just kept deleting I thought if I just marked books as favorite Ill see them all Nope same problemcant see them all Could you please fix this so everything is showing           Great idea needs improvement

Hi I used this app during one month and I deleted this app before I need to pay But I still get a bill What should I do              I need help

Epic is a cool app for little ones who are fond of exploring books We can select according to the grade level as well as our interest The highlight is it read aloud to our little ones thereby minimizing our efforts Thumps up to epic I highly recommend this app                 Fantastic app

Excited about sharing this with my Kinder class but not user friendly for the educator account They need an option to mass choose the age and which books for ALL students in one click Student names should go back to the beginning of the alphabetical order once a student leaves their profile Teachers should be able to assign a book to all students for a lesson before free reading           Needs improving for teachers

Personally I love this app Lots of great books to read And 5 a month So worth it to me Beats having to buy them all individually I could go to the library but that doesnt really work for me and I dont want to worry about loosing them etc so having all these books on the iPad is awesome                 Love this app

I have downloaded other book apps and have to admit I like the selection of books on Epic Being a teacher but using the app as a parent I appreciate the diversity compared to other apps even if they arent familiar stories However I would have liked to see that for children 4 and under if not even 5 6 that when the story is read to you the words are highlighted The teacher in me cringes when I hear the audio The stories I have listened to are not read fluently reading as you would speak in conversation not choppy which is an expectation in school and consequently affects comprehension when you read on your own Hoping to see some improvements with the next update as I am using my free trial and would like to continue using this app with my kids              Good but could use some small improvements

has never actually allowed me to enter in any device for my daughter to read and username not been working to be able to get in and cancel so it keeps charging my account     bad

This app is great for the classroom Teachers can upload students as well as allow them to pick the genres they are interested in reading It has great awards to keep students interested in reading It also allows them to rate and review a book One other thing students can see whos read the book before them This allows them to practice accountable talk with each other                 Awesome

Seems like its a good app thing is I cant access anything The agreement to get the first month free and 499 after always pops up no matter how many times I agree Ive deleted resigned in closed the app but nothing works     Cant get passed payment screen

Pretty good but it does not have some of my favorite books like Percy Jackson and maximum ride and that kind of disappoints me because those are some of my fav           Ok

My son loves this app You do not need to borrow library books and pay late fees It is convenient and helps encourage my son to read more books Thanks Epic                 Why did I not know about this

There are a hundred companies who claim to be the Netflix of something but this one pretty much nails it for childrens books and its cheaper than Netflix I still take my kids to the library every week like everyone should but this is perfect for satisfying their book cravings the other six days of the week Bravo                 Good deal

This app is phenomenal I am a teacher and this app is great for daily 5 listen to reading centers in my classroom It is also very nice that it is free for teachers since we spend so much money already Thanks epic                 Awesome app

I love the app for my 4 and 8 year olds When they wanna play audio books why dont the pages turn or it gives us that option while its playing For 499 a month I think that figure should be added Besides that we love the app              I love it BUT

At 6 my daughters reading like crazy so this app saves us a ton of money                 Amazing value

When I started the free trial a week ago I fell in love with this app It has so many books to choose from that it can become a little overwhelming Unfortunately I am starting to see that the books my children really want to read are only available in audiobook My kids wants to go through the book and needs the practice actually reading the words Also I just did an update and noticed a book that became an instant favorite with my 4 year old was already taken away Now I am questioning whether to continue with the monthly subscription           Awesome at first

In epic its amazing Ive read like 5 books in like 10mins I cant believe this is athaly helped me get more smart I ushaly just sit around and wach tv no I pretie much can do both get on my iPod and read Ive gone through like 10 book apps and thave always never work but now Ive fond one that I can stay with Ellie                 Epic books

Before using Epic I would buy eBooks to read to my nephews 3 and 5 on my iPad This is such a money saver and a great app Now we read all kinds of different books                 So worth it
