After reading the other reviews I was ready to pack the labeler up and send it back The iOS version works fine and produced good labels but it was a little tedious so I thought I would try out the desktop version connected with USB I m running MacOS version of El Capitan 10 11 3 It opened immediately and found the printer right away I had previously installed the driver downloaded from epson and re started the computer I was able to produce 5 labels with a simple graphic and save them as they are formats I use often Have not tried any bar coding I bought this labeler so it could be attached to our home desk computer and label all sorts of household and pre made food items that we freeze I m glad I dont have to go through the hassel of returning as this labeler works fine Before installing after all the bad reviews I did notices Epson updated Jan 2016 so I thought I d give it a try and I m happy I did                 works as expected Webgirl50

No on screen rulers You do get a readout of the taple length though it is greyed out and not totally apparent Zoom tool is labeled Exact though it is not exactly that 1 30 a little clunky but works Have to also download and install printer driver from Epson website Makes it a little tricky to install         No on screen rulers Bernuli

You expect the connection to be Bluetooth because that is how the iOS version works You also might expect the install to work the same way The LW 600p was made for iOS but will work with your Mac It works but you lose the non installation installation you had with iOS This app works with USB and needs to be connected through the printer preferences like any other mac printer Like any other mac printer you need to install the epson drivers This is a small download and install nothing like a printer scanner copier install Bluetooth on my computer would pair but not connect and this mislead me The help file for the app does not mention the USB connection Haven t really put the printer through its paces on the mac but you also lose some ability from the iOS version You need to tell the app what size tape you have in the printer The printer does not know this like it does in iOS In conclusion the LW600p will print from a mac with this app but setup and usage are much different and difficult in comparison to iOS I will give the app a four It could be a five to me anyway if the app was prepared to check for USB connection and make you aware that it wasn t connected and most importantly WHY it is not connected Even a menu item check USB connection would lead you to the goal of installation To Epson Engineers Your natural thoughts are not users natural thoughts Did you try this out on an iOS user non engineer Get with it the PC era that excluded everyone who wouldn t spend all their time with a computer is over Do you want people to use your products or marvel at the abilities you have that they don t That being said thank you for bringing more value to my LW600p for no extra charge at all                 App works over USB variador

Epson is aware of the issue since October yet have not done anything to update their code it takes 1 2 weeks to update your code in this case simple driver conflict under 10 10 FIX IT you re a 100M company Returning their product     DOES NOT WORK on YOSEMITE Kay Mode

Does not work with Yosemite App opens and lets you design a simple label When you try to print it it just sits there If you open the printer file it tells you it is printing Forever     Not for Yosemite SF Foggy
