This is an all around nice simple app that is amazing for buddingamateur musciains like me or anyone simply with the love of music Its a game that can be deceptively difficult and an ear trainer for pitch or key Great for musicians singers or anyone that wants to tinker with some tunes The spiffy artistic style is always nice too                 Simple yet optionally complex app

I have other apps like this that are meant to help me in ear training but after 3 mins of practice I get bored This app isnt like that thats why I like it However itd be awesome if it had more options              Great app

This is a great app Love the way it works It is really helpful in getting beginners use to knowing where they are in a scale When are minor versions coming                 Awesome app

There needs to be instructions or a tutorial And the ability to repeat the sample tone I havent gotten much farther than that           Neat but needs work

This app is fantastic as a student in high school I struggled with ear training for the Ap music theory test I passed the test with a 4 If I had this app Im sure I would of been able to do melodic dictation much easier My Only few complaints are that when after completing the level to ship disappears I would like to see something funny happen like maybe the ship lands and aliens get out and look confused and all the people scatter I am also disappointed that there are only three tone modes to play on I kinda wish that there were up to 6 different tone patterns that the ship demanded you reply Anyways thanks for developing an amazing app that I as a musician have incorporated into my ear training routine Best of lucky Greg              Greetings earthling

4 stars because there is no piano sound I will adjust as soon as that comes to us Also consider adding a feature with chords minor scales and the ability to change octaves and Im sold              Add piano sound

Hi Today I purchased ET app and it does not work properly on my iPhone 4s iOS 8 The screen opens in very small size and buttons can not be tapped Screenshot attached Please fix or refund     Not working

It doesnt help you Your brain search for the high of the pitch not the tone If they could change the high our brain will be force to recognize THE TONE And thats what we want There are better apps for that The game gets boring Its the same all the time There are no thrill consequences rewards or fun I could care less about the little guys because I know I have infinite people Just one stage And I had to pay for this     Refund

Friggen sucked like it doesnt teach you how to even recognize it at first And it should have piano notes totally wasted my money     Ugh

Im pretty bad with musical notes Im using this app to help develop my musical ear I enjoy the design Its nice and unassuming However I feel pangs of guilt when a UFO abducts someone                 pretty cool

The screenshot is enough to tell you that the app is cute and friendly but more importantly this app is also the best starting point Ive seen for beginner ear training It doesnt get you bogged down in obscure scales and intervals or 1000 options that you need to configure to turn off said obscure scales and intervals You fire it up and right away youre working on notes and sequences from a major scale exactly the place a novice will want to get started A great tool to go from I sort of know what notes are because I play a little piano to I can really pick out most of the notes I hear in melodies on the radio Incidentally although its not designed specifically for iPad it actually looks much better at 2x on the iPad than most apps Ive seen                 Fantastic ear training app for beginners

Ive had lots of fun with this and it works For people like me with poor relative pitch this is great My kid with perfect pitch nailed it but also had a blast with it                 Really cool

This app has made my start in ear training so much easier Ive virtually mastered the C major scale in just a few weeks I hope to see the app expanded I know I wouldnt have progressed so quickly without it                 Makes ear training approachable

I am surprised more people arent taking about this app by Squarepoet ET is a very user friendly app that improves your ability to recognizematch pitch The only potential flaw is that the only instrument sounds recorded are from a guitar There is a Chiptune setting but I advise you to avoid it at all costs I wish that there were a piano setting but still you will definitely get your moneys worth out of this app              ET is a great ear training tool

ET the Ear Trainer is a clever iPhone app that will have you engaged and entertained far longer than you ever anticipated When I first picked up the app I thought Id surely be bored with it quickly but 20 minutes later I found myself deeply involved in the game doing my very best to say my little stick citizens from the alien abductions You would think that as a musician I would have better tone recognition but alas I could only ever achieve 6 notes in a row before I failed miserably and my little men were once again zapped up The charming design of this app sets it apart from the loads of crapware that serve no purpose and are clogging up internet space After using this app for a while I truly feel like my tonal recognition abilities have improved and as a singer this is always helpful I always have a great appreciation for Apps that go above and beyond the basic function The makers of this app could have easily just made it a boring game of tone Simon but instead they chose to integrate the clever name in full double entendre fashion and bring aliens into tone recognition I love it If you want to improve your ability to decipher tonal intervals and you have a desire to be the savior of tiny stick people then this app is for you                 Improve Tone Interval Recognition and Save Stick Men From Aliens WINNING

I found this app surprisingly addictive and ended up getting more than 20 in a row correct I hope the developers add more game modes in the future maybe teach me to play some tunes or something Great app                 Fun and useful little app

Its good for a beginner like me as youre basically guessing what sounds the UFO makes and it either glows if you get it right or abducts one of your little people if you get it wrong After enough time with the game I actually notice that Im getting better It definitely works and its much more fun than audio flash cards                 Turns out I am not tone deaf
