I think this has a lot of potential but glitchy in the sound and laggy when accessing some commands On an ipad 4        Promising but glitchy

I disagree with the last review this is a good sounding synth They are tons of synths in the app store I know I own a bunch of them Some are great and some arent but I feel that it depends on what Im working on when selecting a synth This one has a lot of flexibility for shaping a sound that I need and I like it better than artic keys similar synth which is another good synth before the iPad Ive spent thousands on music software and hardware and glad to see Devs make great sounding synth like this at a cheap price I feel its not complete most synth never are at first but I like what see so far especially the layout the vast amount of tweaking goodness Thanks again to the Devs and dont hesitate on this one I think its a gem and a steal for a few bucks                 Sounds great

The only issue I have is that their key hold when on it needs to be able to allow touching the key again to stop it sounding instead of having to turn off the feature which releases all keys preventing better control of your playing              Good synth app

Imagine a synth that can do anything that a really expensive modular synth can do But what if said synth was so friendly to the curious synth enthusiast that ANYONE could realize those kinds of sounds on a frigin iPad Airthis is that beast WHO CARES if it doesnt have audio buss Record it like a real modular nimrod Its that cool and huge if you give it more than a brief look peace christo                 Love of modular can you say

Matrix patching multiple mods sequencer XY pads scale keys Whats not to like Well theres good and bad about this item First the good it has a lot of features This ap is no stripped down synthesizer It has lots of modules and many of the features that became common in later aps dual XY control pads scaleselecting keyboard etc The sound quality is up to current standards for the most part Extreme high freqencies get glitchy and it can sound a wee bit thin at times The bad Well basically it does not work very well on my iPad 1 with 51 iOSThis ap crashes it consistently But on my iPad 3 it is fine The Display is a bit difficult to read even with a Retina display iPad 3 The matrix patching only permits basic voice routing modulations envelope to VCF LFO to VCO that sort of thing but even that is better than many other iPad syntheizers Worst of all there is no interap audio or Audiobus support This instrument will only function as a standalone Its a good set of ideas but it really needs an update Its only 2 bucks so I am happy to have it in my inventory It does some things that other aps cannot do           Good ideas poorly executed

Not a bad synth at all One thing I hope will be improved upon are the parameter values being more easy to read while adjustingI think right now theyre under ones finger which makes it difficult to read I keep having to peak under my finger tipmaybe a parameter dependent readout display close to the pitch wheel One more thing would be midi cc assignment of parameterswhy Because this is a SOLID synth much more so than others which has been on the App Store for quite a while and are still halfbaked I wont name names Couple extra points I love the waveform mixing within both the Osc and Lfoits cool to see and hear the waveform change shape depending on combination and mix ratio And I like how there ARE NOT any preset soundsthe synth is straightforward and this only forces one to really get into the synth to learn its nature and to start rolling ones own sound set The little things like the mod matrix are simply brilliant too specifically the arrows that indicate the target for a source when you activate that connectionnot just a colored button but the simple graphical inclusion of an arrow is just sensible              This is good
