Looks like a bad 2013 app Oh that is exactly what it is The 1990 Windows 3 style fonts and icons not to mention a choice of background colors seemingly designed specifically to make the app hard to look at and consequentially hard to look at don t help But this app suffers from much more serious problems including possible unintentional data loss As a general rule stay away from apps that have not been updated in four years And specifically regarding this app just stay away Portrait mode only No access to IPTC metadata ot PLUS metadata or data added by other software Name of program is confusingly similar to exiftool a Perl package authored and maintained by Phil Harvey and that is generally if not universally praised by real professionals that work with image metadata on a daily basis In either case it s inexcusable for this author to be unaware of the real exiftool or in the other case to have intentionally used the name Horrible bug in Edit interface will delete data that looks as if it will be saved Select metadata items to delete and a red X marks items for deletion Unfortunately the red X can disappear from an item when it is outside the visible scroll view However internally the app will still delete this data whether it shows you a red x or not This bug does not seem to appear in the other different interface for deleting metadata Two ways to do the same thing in one simple app why Can only save one preset Free version claims to allow testing on three photos before upgrading to paid version But still not all features can be tested Have never seen such a horrible interface for editing data Of course this app has a user interface but to understand it requires redefining either user or interface Selected really means About to be deleted and has nothing to do with Selecting photos which is another app function Switch switches between the app s own photo library and your regular iOS photo library where all your photos are But the next function Photos only shows the app s internal photo library initially empty even if you have your normal iOS Photos photo library selected After changing or deleting metadata a photo can be sent directly to email or twitter etc Both versions the one with and the other without metadata are stored on your device which may cause confusion Buttons at the bottom allow you select some or all fields for deletion But if you change your mind and wish to deselect all metadata fields well that is a different button near the top of the screen that had a completely different looking icon from the other two buttons App allows you to enter and save nonsensical data It is possible to save dates such as 2017 13 32 07 62 63 And GPS coordinates such as 185 degrees Well if that s what you want to do fine Just don t change your mind Going back to correct these mistakes was not possible Instead the app closed every time the Edit option was selected Apple should kill this app Put it out of our misery Until then move on there is nothing useful here     Litterly this app hurts my eyes SnapStarSean

This app is GREAT Set SAVE the info you want changed in the settings first I love that you can bulk add a copyright camera owner but I love that you can change or delete any exif data from any photo I do not understand how anyone could not think this is a fantastic app And no I am not a friend of the developers I am just a poor farmer photographer who lives in south Texas                     What is wrong with everyone Thornhill_Asherton

This is not ExifTool or even a UI for ExifTool More like a rip off of it The UI appears so cramped that it s not easy to navigate Moreover you have to purchase to unlock the full version before you can do anything even open a map It gives the real ExifTool a bad name     Claustrophobic Ahikanana

Downloaded to fix the year on the date on pics of my grandson which is off by four years on pictures taken by my daughter s friend Purchased the upgrade hoping to access the bulk features Bulk feature only allows you to delete the date as per the available options This was a huge disappointment but it gets worse Selecting this feature only deleted the photoshop editing date and had no effect on the camera date which are the incorrect ones I needed to change I can change the date on each picture individually but the batch mode feature dies not have a useful and flexible interface If you don t mind changing each picture separately it seems to work but is twice the cost of similar apps that do this         Did not do what I needed Stacezm
