This is the best single player board game I know of It has a feel of African danger Its tactical and challanging It may be a tad provocative with the saving private Ryan theme to it risking multiple lives to find one guy but great nonetheless An accomplished board game

I have been playing this for two weeks and I am now addicted It is an awesome game of strategy I have only made it to the final destination once with 4000 points It is tough but I love challenges The outcome is dependent on how well you can manage your resources and how fast you can get weapons to fend off the crocodiles and other predators The first thing I try to do is get as much food as I can Then I carefully watch my portersand next stockpile the weapons It is loads of fun I highly recommend it Awesome game

It is fun to play if you can get pass the bugs Dice physics are horrible Everytime I go 970 miles perfectly the game nevers ends It just states end of turn and to continue rolling It is not until I have gone at least 10 miles over does the game end Why have a pistol if it really is never used I have yet to roll a leopard Heres another simple issue that bugs me The dice are 6 sided but yet you can roll 30 20 10 machette pistol rifle mosquito gator skull cross bones and the missing leopard Did I miss anything Should have gone with maybe 10 sided dice Ill review it again at an update Needs lots of work
Expedition was a fun game but it was over quickly The key is to have not too many porters and loads of food I would give this game five stars but after figuring it out from dying once it was over too fast Fun Till Its Over

You need both porters and food to survive Food is scarce but porters are plentiful and cosume food The only way to win is to cull all the extra porters you have by deliberately killing them off by letting them get eaten by lions and alligators Weird Gameplay forces you to be immoral

Important note the update to iOS 84 has left this game unplayable for me I truly hope that the developer releases a patch as now when the game loads I get the main selection screens mirror image and none of the buttons are selectable which means I cant start a new game The game itself is fun if a bit basic Its kind of like a dicebased Oregon Traily game set in Africa and offering the player minimal choices to differentiate their journey and spice things up There are hazards one must try to avoid resources and weapons to be collected to ward off danger and just a touch of skill necessary in order to make it to the final destination Mostly though the game hinges upon luck I like it but would love to see it get fixed upand in a dream worldexpanded a little bit A simple fun game

I like the new update in general but it seems to have even more bugs than the previous version 1 Displays number of food crates during turn differently than after turn For example it said I had 65 crates after my turn was finished but every time it came to throwing dice it said I had 3 until it finally decided that I was out of food Hard to strategies when you dont know how much food you have 2 Dice seem to get stuck on one picture even when you rethrow them 3 When I reach a checkpoint without overshooting it often skips the task like options to find food or cross a swamp etc and instead continues to the next leg of the expedition In general this is a fun entertaining game but too easy to beat with no rewards for winning or highscores like additional levels or unlocking more good dice or adventures More bugs than old version
I play this geography strategy game a lot You have to balance five or six things at once and roll well It takes about ten quick games to get clever with it and some dice luck to master it A few bugs which have been around forever but no updates There is not a full explanation for the scoring system so I just play for shortest trip 76 which is still a big challenge No high scores or leaderboard but the sounds are cool Could use more challenges between turns The graphics are terrific 4 stars Cross Tanzania in 75 days

I realize that this is only a free game but it really needs a lot of work First it is really slow and requires a lot of loading screens Secondly the die rolls are very slow and choppy and their randomization needs work I like the concept for the game I think its a great idea but it feels like there really wasnt any quality control for it If I were producing the game I never would have released it like this I hope they work on it more because the app store can really use a lot more board games like this Okay needs a lot of work
