The Facts I am an App aholic I have 23 photographic apps I just found my 1 Camera Roll is the worm in the Apple Hmmm maybe I should have listed that under facts I only recently discovered the stupid little square thumbnails it uses are for the benefit of Instagram Isn t there an app for that C mon Apple with all the money I ve paid for this iPhone the Camera feature being a serious selling point why saddle me with a built in grossly inadequate app like Camera Roll I have finally found a STELLAR replacement Thumbnails can be small medium or large They can appear in ascending or descending order They can be sorted by time or name They can display the date or name resolution size date time taken if the EXIF data of the camera you used includes it even the ISO f stop such iPhones don t include that data The little cog in upper right takes you to Settings where you can setup these options The Reviewer that s having trouble with the sort order needs to check out these settings They ll get her sorted the way she needs Standard photo editing tools contrast brightness white balance etc are included too They re delightfully simplistic with sliders provided numbers to let you know how far either way you ve gone Landscape viewing Zoom Slide shows are all supported I would like to see the ability to crop photos and fix red eye in future developments Yeah I know Camera Roll already offers both of those But it has SOOOO little else to recommend it that those hardly matter This is a pretty doggone incredible app and I HIGHLY recommend it NOTE I am in no way associated with this app aside from being in love with it or it s developers but am deeply indebted to them now and this is an unsolicited review                     OMG Mammy-Jammy

The app produces a very nice grid display with very smooth vertical scrolling Tap an image for full screen view sqitch on EXIF image file names etc in settings Only problem seems to be sideays scrolling in single image full screen mode causes my iPad2 to crash One interface improvement would bt to display first image in folder thumbnails in the home screen showing all available folderser names for Events folders are shhot dates and displaying a date is almost useless Fix side scrolling issue and add thumbs to the home screen and it would be 5 star worthy                 Very nice grid display Techno-nut

I m a professional photographer and I often shoot a series of photos which look very similar with slight differences between them Often those images are on the sides of edges of the photo For instance I may frame a photo with a the subject on one side and another person or object at the other side to balance the image And a similar shot might show the same person but without the object or second person at the side of the frame The problem I ve found with square thumbnails is that the center of the photos in these shots may be identical but that doesn t help me because it s what s on the EDGES that differentiates them The typical square Camera Roll thumbnail is geared toward Instagramers who shoot square photos or people who tend to place their subjects at the center of each photo But the vast majority of professionals never do this because it violates a central tenet of composition Always lead the eye around the image to make it more interesting to explore When a subject is smack dab in the center the eye tends not to wander why should it Everything s in the middle and that generally makes photos less interesting to view Not always but 90 times out of a hundred it s true So an app like this which gives yo a full frame thumbnail is really helpful for those who compose their shots with details on the edges especially when you have several similar shots The Camera Roll is maddening when trying to find a certain shot amongst a bevy of related images UGH So needless to say this app is very useful for Pros and amateurs alike Once you start using it you ll question why you ever accepted having your photos chopped off in the first place It s simple and elegantly designed an I ve experienced no issues with it so far I look forward to seeing what little enhancements may come down the road But for now it s a welcome enhancement over Apple s fairly lame Camera Roll thumbnails                     So Nice To Have Full Size Thumbnails Pro App Reviews
