This is an excellent app and really helps get things onto a SanDisk so you can playback in a car However I am having an issue with the app converting my lossless audio Not sure if upgrading to High Sierra had anything to do with it but the app quits when I try to convert my lossless tracks and the playlist isn t recognized in the car             Lossless Audio AlextheApple-o-phile

An easy way to get my MP3 s onto my thumb drives and SD cards Apple makes it so difficult to transfer to a non Apple device Export for iTunes makes it so easy Very simple to use does a great job Thank you                     At last Retired Gentleman of Leisure
Just bought a new 2017 Jeep Wrangler and it came with a 430N radio head unit which has a 40GB storage and can use iPod Aux and USB to play music I bought a Sandisk Ultra 32GB Dual USB Drive 3 0 at Bestbuy because I wanted to keep my files on USB flash drive instead of importing it straight into the Jeeps storage unit Plus the USB flash drive is very small and does not stick out like the others so I can leave it plugged into the USB slot This App makes transfering files from iTunes to my Flash Drive so easy There is a Demo on YouTube that shows the steps on how to transfer the files Everything is done for you so its basically a couple of clicks and your done unless you want to do some more advance features then it will take some extra steps Great App and I recommend it to anyone using iTunes on a Mac                     So Easy to Use II SMILEE II
I ve been using this since we got our new Mustang with Sync 3 and have found it really works well The only thing I wish it did was allow you to preview update the album art being exported because occasionally songs with album art in iTunes are showing up without and then Sync 3 displays a generic image                     Works Great iPadiMac
Recently I ve been having issues when I attempted to Sync my iPod Classic portables and my 2013 Mac Pro running iTunes I had added 400 Tracks to my Library and just could not get them to be portable and I wanted to play them in the car There was no way I could leave my car collection stuck in the past even with 35 000 tracks I know that would get boring I drive a car that has both a USB port and a built in hard disk drive HDD When you use the iPod you connect it to the USB and plug a pigtail wire into the audio in jack in the console It s a hokey setup but it usually works But the USB port does double duty If you connect a USB thumbdrive of music you can play it without an audio connection And a third option is to hit the RECord button on the dash and the car will transfer your music from the thumbdrive to the internal hard drive This gives you some interesting possibilities if you can get them to work I had accomplished this with one large body of work a remastered series from a famous british band But my second attempt with a different band failed and I wasn t sure why and never figured it out Enter Export for iTunes This is the nicest piece of functionality I ve seen in an App ever It has the buttons you need and no clutter I opened the App and it listed the long long list of my Playlists I selected a Playlist with 410 new songs and it stepped me through simple screens to decide how to name the files when exported what format the files should be and where to put them I inserted a cheap 4GB USB2 drive and pointed the software to it And that was it No wait there is more When you click the Details button it shows you the log of what the software is doing in a very clean no baloney log format You can save this log at the end so you remember what was done for you or you can clear it and forget about it Or you can never open detls at all and be blissfully ignorant that it might exist And how about a spreadsheet of what s on the export Name rank and serial number of every song and where they came from on your storage source along with the ID3 tags all in RTF or XLS format for you to inport into your favorite office product So the product works exactly as advertised and I took the thumb drive to the car plugged it in and in 20 minutes USB2 speeds the HDD had another 410 songs playing on the hard drive and I pulled the thumb drive out so I could generate another list I love this product It does everything I would want the product to do if I wrote it myself I would be proud if I could say I wrote it but I m telling everyone my boast is that I found it and told them about it Thank you Giorgio                     The Best App I ve Ever Bought Seriously Well Done Zzyzx Oh
I Rate this App FIVE STAR Btter yet I rate this app costumer service TEN STAR They help me out of spot where I didn t know how to operate the app They took time out of there day and sent me two attachments that resolve the issue with the play list oder Once again thank you and please disregard previous comment     A QUICK Responce and QUICK FIX DjKennyKen
Just bought a car with no internal hard drive for music nor did it have cd player Didn t want to be beholden to sirius radio and wanted to be able to add my Itunes playlists to sd card This worked flawlessly and even told me which songs were DRM protected and not able to be copied to the card No issues at all Good purchase I would like more documentation though Not sure if I change a playlist in iTunes and want to add it to the sd card via Export that it will replace the existing playlist on the card or add another one with the same name plus an identifier I also wanted to know if I delete a playlist on the sd card would it have any kind of negative impact on the entire structure that was copied over If not then it would be possible to delete a playlist on the card and replace it with an amended playlist from Itunes I would highly recommend this app Further review Have gone on the support page and have requested more info on above questions Emailed twice but despite what anotheer reviewer claimed about fast support I have received no response The support page also shows requests with no response Not saying this app isn t very good but for the price I would expect some response from the developer                 Worked very well Iman3333
Do not use this application It crashed my system several times sometimes with a message saying quit unexpectedly and other times restarting my system After one crash my system would no longer boot so I had to reinstall OS X Even after I reinstalled OS X this app still crashed and forced me to reinstall OS X again I have wasted two days on this now Very dissapointed     Crashes and restarts beware pdxdale

This tool is a must have is you need to use your music files outside of the Apple gaunlet For instance you would to take a bunch of songs from your libary and copy them to a memory stick for use in your car and still have all of the new song data with it Of course you do You think this would be is easy pie and all you have to do is copy the file form your raw library right Well no actually The reason for this is because unkess any song tagging standard ou there Apple stores all of information about your nusic in database That means a copy of your files will most like not have any ID3 tag info artwork whether it s in a playable format etc which Export for iTunes nearty handles When opening the tool you are presently with a list of sings your iTunes library including your playlists You may then sort arrange orde and or select the files as you chose This tool supors the checkbox model so you don t have to dress about unslecting a track and losing all of your selections forcing you to start over You can even create a playlist in iTunes and simply export it in one step As long as you play the sangs from the playlist it will even play them in the cirrect order Once you select your music you are presented with a number of options such of Should I change the format so that all of the fies to all be either MP3 or AAC If so what should the quality be Or shoud I just leave them alone Renane the file and containing folders according to a pattern that you may define which is made up from fields like Artst Song Name Treck etc or just leave the filenames as is Create a playlist of your expoted songs on the opt level optional Convert character encoding so that it looks pretty on Windows IE insert gratutious carraige returns and strip Unicode characters from your track title so everything is ASCII only in case your player chokes on them And many other help features that are worth mentioning but I am running out of time Plus the supoort is basically talking with the guy who wrote it He s usually very responsive helpful and takes suggestions well He has even fixed issues that I ve encounted and sent me a download of the latest build that hand t even ben release on the App Store yet Bug fixes normally take a while before they go live In fact I am going to send him a suggestion right now In short if you like being able to escape from Apple Jail once in a while and do other things with your music that doesn t involve iTunes like being able to put music onto on USB drive along with thier song track information and album art is pretty much mandatory and while Apple really tries to make this impossible this tool circumvents it easily and reliably This is pretty mich the only worthy option out there I do realize that this ia a 9 99 which does feel steep on the surface but after coming to rely on it I can safely say this is a bargain This is a great way to make the 21st cetnury equiavalent to the mix tape Buy a bunch of 1 or 2 GB thumb drives for cheap on Amazon and you can easily reord a few CDs worth of music and it s like you re in high school again with without alll fo the akwardness and wedgies This is also a great way to perform a full backup of your music library if you like having a second copy of you music tha s fully independent aside from your backups While it dosn t capture all of the iTunes info for a song because ID3 does not support a lot of iTunes specific metadata like the change of the time when you actuallly want the track to start to skip dead space It would be nice to do something else with this info but for now it gest ignored In any case 5 5 an indespensibe tool                     The missing iTunes Export Tool at last DarfNader
Allows me to export my music and more importantly playlists into the hard drive of my BMW i3 Otherwise the i3 default import will lump all the music together without any playsits                     Works great TULFan
Great for exporting cleaning up file names and backing up iTunes library I have been looking for a way to clean up the file names of my library of over 15000 songs This program does it perfectly I created a playlist in itunes named ALL included my entire library in this playlist Then exported ALL to one folder with every file renamed When all are exported I plan to renew my library using the new folder as source for all my music Now what to do with the music video Thanks for great program at a very reasonable price cameramike                     Great Program cameramike
I have a new car that accepts SD and USB devices The best way to listen to music is via a playlist and I tried everything and FINALLY this app solves my creating a playlist issue for UConnect The developer is amazing as is this app No issues to report except its either a bug or needs to be worked on in the next update The album art for over half my songs don t show up even though I know they are there and works in iTunes As mentioned this is the only flaw and I hope it get fixed to make this a perfect 5 star app This app is simply the best                 Overall simply amazing the solution to creating playlists J_J_J_J
This couldn t be easier Tried for several days to download iTunes to MP3 player and or USB stick Apple makes it very hard to downoad to non Apple devices searched numerous Google links searching for solution Found one user who said Export for iTunes was the way to go Bought it and within 5 minutes I was able to download playlists and music to MP3 player and USB stick                     Could not be easier Imelda May fan
This app worked perfectly for creating a playlist on my Sandisk Clip Sport the how to video on youtube was important too because I needed to make sure the settings for line endings CRLF and filename were correct Thanks                     Great app for making playlists that work JOTestedIt
This app does everything it says it will do and more I was having trouble getting album art to show up on my car display Export for iTunes took care of that with ease                     Great App Bucky1
Works well flexible settings easy to use The convert to mp3 or aac feature is great particularly the bitrate down convert feature which is a huge time saver for exporting from an iTunes library having lots of lossless tracks that would otherwise have to be converted for use on e g a USB drive for a car The only setting that I d like to see added is an option that will downcovert high bitrate lossless tracks but not convert already low bitrate say 320 or less mp3 or 256 or less aac files my car reads both so all I need is down conversion of the lossless tracks during export                     Huge Time Saver 2gr8xs
I have a 500GB music library in which most of it was 320kbs I purchased this app to help me batch convert to reduce size Its been going for 18 hrs now and working like a champ The only thing I wish I could change is it puts every album in a separate solitary folder instead of grouping by artist like iTunes does automatically The index is much larger but the volume used is much smaller Fair trade off Another good thing is is saves your album art as a seperate file inside the folder 7 well spent                     Love it Trauma Guy
Like many other reviewers I wanted to pull my music to a USB stick for moving around listening in my car etc The process of finding and moving music is maddeningly complex But once I found this fabulous little app it became a simple process that takes only a couple minutes to set up then time to transfer the music Each time I want to update my CarMusic thumb drive I just fire up the Disk Utility erase everything on the thumb drive then open up this app which accesses all my iTunes playlists choose the lists I want and click go Love it                     Made a complex process amazingly easy The Executive Happiness Coach
Great tool but am disappointed that for some reason it didn t bring over all the Artwork associated with song in iTunes It consistently doesn t bring over art for certain songs or Artist although Art is posted in iTunes             Great Tool However doesnt export all the Art Circanet1

This worked great for me I was looking for an easy program that was simple to use that I could export playlists in order from iTunes to a SD card to use in Audi A4 MMI It worked great I like to to sort mine by Custom Format Track No Title Artist Album Great App well worth the money                     Works great Export to SD Card for Audi RebeccaStarz
And it s all iPhone apps inside it which ain t even music The log is full of Cannot export song xxx File is DRM protected errors Also it s ignoring which playlists I ve checked when exporting     Why does it try to export Apps every time Joseph Lam
After many hours of searching I found this app and am very pleased with it I have a new car with a USB slot and was amazed at how difficult it is to get clean playlists and sync iTunes with a USB stick This app comes very close to perfect I especially appreciate the option for a backslash since my car requires that even though I do my iTunes on a mac which uses front slash A few improvements I would like to see 1 When you open the app among the playlists is Apps Why It shows all of my iPhone and iPad apps somehow thought these were music tracks and they all were all red No big problem just don t select Apps But this shouldn t happen 2 It seems that the export to files and the export to Excel happen separately for the playlists and the albums you need to do your playlists and albums in two separate steps Why not have it do both things at once For making the actual music files it s it s not a big problem But for making the Excel document this is a really cool feature BTW it s a problem I first created Excel for Albums ok Then wanted to ADD to the spreadsheet my playlists I could only create a new file or overwrite the old one I couldn t append the list or have both lists appear in Excel together 3 Allow separate options for the playlists and albums for example whether to create the m3u file For playlist obviously you need that but for album you don t This is needed if you implement suggestion 2 Typically people will want all playlists get the m3u file and all albums don t But whenever I update I my playlist I have to remember to check the m3u option then when I update albums uncheck it Another simple way to solve this is with two checkboxes create m3u and only for playlists 4 When creating a playlist first look to see if each track already exists in another playlist or album and just reference it in the m3u file That way you avoid duplicate tracks and save space on your USB 5 When the iTunes library changes there s no way to refresh the tables If I had opened the app on Playlists and had NOT yet clicked Albums tab it will refresh read iTunes the first time clicking on Albums But then if a playlist changes in iTunes clicking back on Playlists doesn t refresh it The only way I can find to refresh from iTunes is to close the app and re open it A simple solution is to put a Refresh button in the toolbar 6 Lastly please also provide an Artists button It would do the same thing as Albums but organizes tracks by Artists instead Maybe also Genres                 Pretty good could use a few enhancements to make it Great Rich Fackenthal
Looking for an easy way to transfer your iTunes playlists and albums to an SD Card to use in Audi s MMI audio system this is it Worked perfectly Thanks                     Works in Audi MMI system Saratoga 43T
Limits the of exports in a given playlist to 31 and won t let you even select the next batch of 31 to export Pretty much useless in its given iteration         Application is severely underpowered Masterofmiphone
Please find a way to export BPMs This would be very helpful in my situation Other than that the app is okay It does what it says it does I like the fact that you can create excel reports of the playlist It would be great you could add the BPM section to the Excel reports as well Also why is the time shown in seconds and not in minutes If it is part of the algorithm I get it I just find it very strange that you are displaying that to the user             BPM Export JonnyLib
I have two different 14 vehicles with sound systems Alpine Bose that accept music files on a USB flash drive I wanted to move a few of my iTunes playlists to those vehicles This application transfered my music files in the playlists in the order they appear in iTunes The transfer is brainless and fast Could not have asked for a better app                     VERY Pleased Exactly What I Needed kzfan
Just kidding This utility does is exactly what I needed I can quickly and easily make music sticks for my vehicles My venerable iPod Classic no longer needs to be switched from car to car and can be retired to place of honor only to be used for offline travel entertainment With the latest version I can use a single folder for all the music and use playlists for the car that supports that feature Avoids the track duplication I get when using individual folders for each playlist This app just works Feature wish Presets for the export options particularly the advanced option that I can name by vehicle                     No more 8 track tapes jaberg
I just got a new car stereo with a USB slot and needed to export some of my iTunes playlists to a flash drive The new radio requires MP3 but most of my music is AAC so I needed to convert This app makes it effortless it works great and is very easy to use You can convert and export songs playlists or aIbums singly or in any combination I was initially a little put off by the 5 price but after working with it I d say it s definitely worth it If you need to convert and export your music this is the app you need Highly recommended                     Outstanding app Mike in Virginia
Works Great to transfer my Itunes Playlist to my USB Thanks                     Simply Great Tite74
