External Keyboard

I thought it would work everywhere in the iPad other apps doing much better than this     Not so good

It can use only their browser And can not type Korean It makes type like this ㅎㅏㄴㄱㅡㄹ Dont buy it     Dont use for Korean

Great concept but it feels rather unpolished and Im having problems making the deviced connect to each other Most of the time I resort to manually punching IP addresses in the manu for this kind of apps but there are no options to be found neither the manual on how to connect           Wheres the manual option

I took me about 2 hours to learn how to do this just to have a small keyboard           Why soo hard to connect

This app keeps trying to sell me additional apps that I do not want and doesnt find my keyboard as promised     Keyboard app

You cant use the keyboard with any other aplication     Awful it only works with its own browser

I purchased this app with a full understanding of its limitations for example unintuitive and frustrating bug where placing moving the caret on the iPad will still result in the iPhone making changes at the end of text block The really unforgivable aspect of External Keyboard is that when loading the app on iPad to receive iPhone input the browser loads a builtin web browser that loads an anonymous Google search field which may feed revenue to Gp imports and an AdMob ad in the space above the keyboard I paid for this app To rectify this situation the developer should allow users to choose email as the default mode on application launch Even better provide an empty adfree space for users to input text to copyandpaste into a different app     ForPay ADWARE

Yes you can use your iPod touch as the keyboard for your iPad and since I often carry both around this can be quite useful HOWEVER you can only use the iPod Touch as an external keyboard when your iPad is running the External Keyboard app This app can only be used as a rudimentary web browser and to send email Some notes 1 There is no spell checking when you type this way So this would only make sense if you are really good with the iPod keyboard and dont make many mistakes like I do 2 The on screen keyboard on the iPad does not retract One of the main advantages of using a hardware keyboard with the iPad is that you recover the screen real estate taken up by the keyboard 3 Backspace does not function properly If you move the cursor to a new location say to correct a spelling error 20 characters ago and you just noticed now and hit backspace the cursor jumps to the end of the text instead of deleting the previous character 4 To connect launch both apps and wait for the connect indicator to turn green If it doesnt connect quit one of the apps and relaunch 5 You can cut and paste This could be useful if you want to type a long message in some other app Type it in this apps email window copy to the clipboard and paste in the other app           Works but has limited functionality

This is a very cool idea but I feel like I bought the proofofconcept version In context I am an educator attorney and web designer I have a ton of gadgets but Im never without both my iPod and my iPad That being said here are my three major gripes 1 As others have noted this app only works with its own proprietary email and browser You cant use it to enter text into Notes for instance 2 I could live with that shortcoming BUT this thing has no mousetrackpad function Thus while I can type on the iPod I have to physically touch the iPad to navigate You should be able to toggle between the keyboard and trackpad a la Logitechs TouchMouse 3 Moreover the text I type on the iPod does not appear in the iPod real estate above the keyboard All it says is connected which is not very helpful and a huge waste of space This app should mirror my text on the iPod where Im typing it as well as on the iPad Numbers 2 and 3 above are dealbreakers for me because my iPod sits on a shelf about two feet above my desk I have to leave my iPod and reach up to my iPad to do any navigation Also I have to squint that extra two feet to see what I actually wrote since its not mirrored on the iPod Hopefully a future release will allow you to toggle between the keyboard and a trackpad as well as fix these other issues Once these are done this will be one of my rockstar apps        Cool idea weak implementation

I thought it would be a general purpose keyboard replacement for any app ie use your iPad as a keyboard for your iPhone or something but it doesnt do that It also appears to only be oneway the browser starts on the iPad and the keyboard starts on the iPhone boggle Developers Improve your description Your lack of information is borders on misleading     WARNING Only works on their browser their email app

At first glance one would expect this to be what seems to be a wireless keyboard app that your phone may control the iPad but its the complete opposite its a load of rubbish net explorer that so full of advertising and probably sniffing background software I wanted something to control my key board wirelessly and this is not what I expected I want my cash back How do we report this app     False application

This wont work across other apps like pages or anything You can only surf the web on their built in browser     Not a 3rd party Bluetooth

If I could give zero stars I would They promoted wireless keyboard However it only works with their personal browser Which also is very slow Not worth it     Not what expecting

It is extremely limited in use I was able to use it for text but app did not have any remote control features I would really wonder why anyone would buy it     Editor

Quite worthless Very slow to respond doesnt hide the keyboard while you type And the browser they make you use is slow and pathetic Was hoping to use this with at least safari Wish I could get a refund     Waste of money

Worst piece of crap ever You cant even use this app because there are so many pop ups then it closes out the window and takes u to the App Store I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK You people are stealing from people for a piece of junk that doesnt work     DO NOT BUY THIS APP

Reasons Its not usable as a trueexternal keyboard It will not work throughout your iPad but only in their browser Which is pathetic and mediocre at best There is absolutely no reason to buy this     Who reads this should not buy

I got this so I can use my iPhone as a wireless BLUETOOTH keyboard Unfortunately its over wifi and I cant use it in safari They include a browser that is crappy and useless I just wasted my valuable money on something I didnt need But it does work though over wifi if your looking for only that feature        Disappointment
