Display Resolution Switching gets casual. Four mice in Macworld review Recommended by Marco Arment (www.marco.org/2013/02/21/eye-friendly) Have to get real work done? Get more screen space. Tired after work? Get larger text. With just a keystroke. ...
I only bought this to get 1920 x 1080 it doesn t do it complete waste of money I want a refund     no 1920 x 1080 kiwicolin
This app used to do exactly what was advertised However now it doesn t seem to work at all It hasn t been updated in years and I assume it is end of life pending some response or update from the developer I d look for alternatives unless you want to gamble or an update is posted     Used to be great demotivator
The screen shots associated with this app are false and do not properly represent the actual app specifications One of the provided app images shows 1680x1050 That option is not provided when downloading and installing this application I would like a refund due to misrepresentation To all looking at this application do not spend the money for this application until it s fixed     Screen shot images aren t accurate zportell72
I bought it for alternative of SwitchResX since it s cheaper However this doesn t work with retina mode at all Don t buy it Just waste of money     Doesn t really work DavidT1999
The screen shot shows a dozen or more possible resolutions you can switch to I got one 800x600 Thanks for nothing and ripping me off     Complete waste of money jfhdkljsanfnjdncjklaw
I m trying to find a solution to use my 1600x900 resolutin external monitor MacOS doesn t have that option natively only 10 alternatives from 800x600 to 1920x1080 but not this particular resolution This application only shows 800x600 for the external monitor which is completely different from the screen shot in the description     Useless menergici
I can finally use the full resolution of my retina display without feeling like I ve got a 640x480 display albiet a very pretty one I have my 13 MPB Retina running at 1680x1050 and it feels worlds better Thank you so much for the price of a cup of coffee my productivity has improved no end                     Awesome hexlandus
I can t seem to run it on my Apple Mac Mini I was enthused when I saw someone wrote an app for eye friendly display settings However I wanted to make sure that I can fix whatever problem is preventing me from running this app When I click it it does nothing Please let me know how to remedy this problem by responding here on the thread perhaps or by requesting my contact info Thank you MPH     To the company who created this software CreepyRasta
I wish this worked with my Macbook Pro Retina 2012 and my 27 Thunderbolt monitor It doesn t provide any HiDPI modes for the 27 display I can only get a limited set of modes if I mirror the displays and then switch Unforntunatly there is no quick Mirror option so I have to use the DisplayMenu app The only app that seems to get me to HiDPI mode is RDM which I found through reddit Unfortunately it s not able to be published on the App Store because there are private API s that Apple doesn t provide developers access for display modes             Does not work with external displays Paul Solt
Pretty straight forward and I like it but just wish it could do a 1440x900 in a Non HiDPI mode                 Almost Perfect GaryRudolph
Nice utility but pre defined shortcuts interfere with existing shortcuts Made request for user defined shortcuts months ago but no updates Useless for me without them         Nice but useless without user defined shortcuts ArsenalDad
I think I just paid 5 for an additional icon in my tool bar that gives me no additional functionality I am using a mac mini with a 32 Vizio tv as my display This app looks great but in my case not a good use of my time Thanks anyways     Is this a gag or something Five bucks out the window OhNoBueno
I use this utility all the time both on my Retina MacBookPro and even on my desktop Mac when I want to simulate HiDPI mode I always used to dread having to go to the control panel to change resolutions now it s a snap And it is so elegant it looks like it s part of the operating system I love being able to get to the super high resolution settings like 2880x1800 that are otherwise unavailable                     Elegant and Easy i8ny
So much better than QuickRes which has a terrible UI and is buggy I love that the keyboard shortcuts are intutive and just work It also resizes all the windows which the System Preferences app does not do                     Works perfectly phatmann
Doesn t provide super sharpness except with the monitor s native resolution     Not super sharp chaodoze
I ll second the request for user configurable keyboard shortcuts I was already using Eye Friendly s in another app Fix that and I ll give this five stars                 Great utility but hot keys should be user configurable John the Remainder
Can you please add support to remap the keybindings I already have ctrl option cmd up down mapped to do other things and this overrides it         Allow changing of keyboard shortcut classical-guitar
before mountain lion OS X had a menu extra for displays that would list your most frequently used resolutions for easy switching Since AirPlay was added to Mountain Lion the menu only shows up to turn AirPlay Mirroring on and off and you have to open sys prefs for everything else This simple app restores that functionality and a few bells and whistles It s multiple displays ready and as an added bonus lets you use the native 2880x1800 resolution on the retina MacBook Pro Reffered by Marco org                     Finally a replacment for the displays menu 32768
I switched to this app from QuickRes It essentially does the same thing as QuickRes but the UI is much easier to figure out and it s really nice that eye friendly i e modes that don t terrible are flagged in the UI Nice job                     Very nice resolution switcher agentbillo
