I ve had the fan for a little over a year Initially it worked flawlessly Recently it began to have difficulty finding a fan in range Now it doesn t work at all And here I was going to buy another fan or two from Fanimation because I liked the app so much My horizons have been broadened         Great when it works Hulshouser

I use the app nearly everyday and it connects 95 of the time I wish you could pin a fan instead of it searching every time you open the app but at least it finds my fans quickly The timer is able to schedule a fan for up to six hours in one minute increments why not make it five or 15 minute increments and let me schedule it 12 or even 24 hours Overall I m very pleased with the functionality Who else can control their fan from their phone                 Great start but needs updating 182R Pilot

Update I really think this software must be written by a high school student or college intern or something I really want to like it and when it works it s great But it still constantly drops connection to fans that I m sitting right under iPhone 6 iOS 8 and this latest version is so funny it shows up as fanSyncDemo when you install it on your phone How funny is that Honestly it feels like demo code because it only works about 40 percent of the time Love the idea of the convenience of controlling fans and lighting from my phone but when it doesn t work and the software is release with fanSyncDemo as the app title you know the only QA is the guy who wrote it saying works for me Original Review Brand new receiver in a brand new fan Great when it works but it s constantly complaining about range issues and dropping connection to the fan when I m sitting right under the fan         Fix the BlueTooth issue please MaD_HuNGaRIaN

I use Fansync so I can control multiple fans in my room I love how I was able to control each fan independently from my phone The other control options I tried would cause the lights not to be in sync I would recommend this to anyone who has a ceiling fan Please note You must purchase the compatible receiver in order to use the app                     Fansync ISU_Sycamores

Moved to a new house and missed using my Wemo switch to turn off the lights from bed New house had a ceiling fan instead Wemo wouldn t work with it and neither would Philips Hue This app and hardware work great and were fairly easy to install Only complaint is that the keyboard covers some of the fan options on iPhone 4S with iOS 8                 Love it NateK1111
