Fast Keyboard • Universal Text Editor

Theres no 3 on the keyboard I therefore have to revert constantly to the iOS keyboard this is supposed to replace I really like the app but what the heck is going on with the 3                 Like it but

all of the extra keys that i want plus seamless integration with dropbox the ability to drop text into a message or email without cut and paste is the cherry on top                 just about perfect

The extra set of keys is what the apple keyboard lacks Fast keyboard is better due to this The auto linking to drop box and file manager is awesome because otherwise apple is so restrictive and does not allow us to move this files to a desktop or smartphone Fantastic app                 Extra keys the plus point

I use it every day to jot notes and to run my HTML scripts update changed rating from 5 to 1 star due to mysterious bug that erased all of my file tags     works for me

I use Faster Keyboard for anything I write on the iPad or iPhone that will be more than a 2 sentence message Its fast simple stable and lets me have multiple documents in progress I too wish that Apple could adopt Faster Keyboards more efficient keyboard layout                 Best Text Composition App Available

Nice keyboard when app is open but no Info on how to get it into text message or email Whats the point        Where is keyboard

Please make this compatible with the side by side app I guess I understand not being able to use it in any other app but it should certainly be able to be used with apps from the same developer Please work on this as it would be a great addition           Could be better

Pointless Not a keyboard Only a text program which can export to a couple of apps     Its not a keyboard its a text box

That said switching the top row of characters proves difficult using swipe I propose that a color toggle switch be placed on the top left of the extra character keys so as to allow one to toggle through the character sets as necessary as oppose to having to swipe For a more aesthetic design the vertical functionformatting keys in the grey area can instead occupy one row atop the symbol keys and there should be only one row of symbol keys as oppose to two Or this could be a user option Last but not least a night mode would prove usefulno one likes to look at a bright screen late at night           Shockfull Of Symbols

Love the keyboard Im able to write my knitting and crochet patterns using it on iPad Air 2 while sitting in my recliner I can design write and then put it in dropbox to do more on my Mac computer The way to share it with dropbox is a little confusing When you click the arrow the first thing is dropbox You would think this would share it Nope So I clicked Other Apps on the Share dialog box and save it to drop box that way I can even use the microphone and dictate I highly recommend this app                 This app is so useful

As my previous two reviews indicate I love this app It is nearly perfect But now I have a feature request better tag management I would happily pay for a pro version with this functionality or pay an inapp fee to enable it Note to new users start by tagging your files from the beginning youll be very glad you did months or a year or two later I finally figured out how to use tags as sort of folders to group my by now dozens and dozens of files Now I understand that I can add tags by clicking on either the info icon in the file view or in edit mode by clicking on The Save icon and clicking on the little tag link at the bottom of the popup dialog box But now I need to be able to select multiple files in the File view so I can tag them a whole bunch of them in a single operation Two related tag management features the ability to sort or manually order tags as they are listed as tabs at the top of the File view Filtering the list of tags shown would be beyond my wildest dreams The ability to edit a tag in the File view to either rename it globally or delete the tag thereby removing it from all the files to which it has been applied Deleting a tag would not otherwise change any of the tagged files However the deleted tag would be removed from the tag list in the File view I only feel the need to request these features because this app is so wildly useful I use it so much for so many things that I have to organize all the files Ive created I just didnt realize how many many files I have used this wonderful app to create Please save me from myself                 Request for feature

I cant edit the text to make it bold italic or underlined since I want to Needs another update just to add those settings           Its a great app but

Does not work with other apps although you can export the text into Apple messenger I expected that I could use this app when I was doing texting on iOS This is not the case While not useless it has limited use        Ok just ok

Some apps deserve to be bestintheirclass this is such an app My fingers are not sized for IPhones small keyboard this app provides me with essential tools for correcting all the errors Im almost certain to create in text It provides great ease in editing our errors Then when the text is completed its easily copied pasted into its intended use SMS email note etc                 WONDERFUL Indispensable

This app does everything you wish your Notepad and iOS keyboard would do Arrow keys easy macros customizable buttons you name it its here even Dropbox integration I didnt know I couldnt live without it Wish the dev team for this app would make an iOS keyboard Id pay doubledigits for that As someone else said just download this already then make sure to read the onepage help file it has additional cool things in it Take a moment to set up your buttons and enjoy this fantastic app                 Has all you want and need wish it were an iOS keyboard replacement

For the length of time that I have had this app Im surprised that I am only writing a review now and Im really sorry that I didnt write it sooner This app is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC I truly love this app I use it constantly What this app is capable of still ABSOLUTELY blows my mind I use it constantly Im amazed that it isnt an app that needs to be bought its that good Please keep up the phenomenal work It is MORE than worthy of the five star rating and the like for Facebook that I gave it                 Fast Keyboard Universal Text Editor Review

Doesnt open in other apps so it has very limited usage     pretty useless

No go with Mail or Text aps on iPad Dumb        Doesnt Work with all apps

I bought it for the keyboard which I still really like Way better than iPads default I also bought it for the Dropbox backup Seems to work fine However Ive had some problems with figuring out why some files are sent to Dropbox while others are not Some show as not in Dropbox on iPad but DO appear in Dropbox on my laptop Windows 8 I would suggest adding highlight colors and fontsize changes              Nventiveguy

I was writing a script and accidentally hit the clipboard button and everything that I wrote was erased I worked so hard on it Plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz fix this     Stupid

The only thing that this app could be improved with is to speak into the microphone the name of the symbols and have them appear on the note page                 Best notetaking app for iPhone

I thought this might speed up my code writing on the iPad because of the extra rows of keys But every time you tap those secondary keys there is lag Enough lag to annoy Its still better than digging into the second and third modes of the standard keyboard but the lag dos kill this app a bit           Too much lag

Although I love the keyboard Instructions are poor I lost some important work by hitting the wrong key Apparently no backups     Too easy to delete your work

There is a glitch that doesnt let me make more draftsplease fix it and it will be a million star game GOOD GAME PEOPLE              Glitch

Copy and paste people Very functional Lets you save as different file extensions You need this if you know how to use your devices and computer Its not a keyboard app Dont write a review if you have no understanding of why the app was designed                 People dont get it

Love the idea but is there any way to make it your default keyboard It isnt listed as an option in my settings and no way I can see to contact developer with questions Issue not addressed in website nor in app description Still should help on iPad but would help more with texting and quick emails on phone if was my default keyboard Wish I waited to upgrade           I wish

We just want a basic text editor that can use cloud storage I get pop up keyboard extensions I dont want and cannot get rid of without losing my place in the document Who wants that Dropbox interface works sorta but confused and confusing The documentation help file and web tutorial which does nothing of the sort are charitably weak multiple references to a blue arrow which does not exist and how do I make the keyboard extension disappear like I said meh And the ads on the free version are obnoxiously intrusive Well its cheap enough I guess it does make and edit txt files and will store and retrieve them from Dropbox so 3 stars Potential unrealized Make it simpler and more elegant           meh over reaches and underwhelms me

What is the point if it only works within its own app Im sorry but its not useful at all     Doesnt work with Mail Safari or any other aps

So whats this about Oh I get it Its a text creator editor And a great one I was hoping that it would apply to other apps but knowing that it doesnt going in allows me to give 4 stars              Good app

Probably the best plain text editor Ive tried And since it synchs with Dropbox it is a handy way for me to get ontheroad notes into my PC                 Works Well

I did not realize how great FastKeyboard is until I read the help file Like I some of the other reviews missed many great features There are more than 3 rows scroll you can custom add keys to be what you want even sentences you can upload to email more etc It is difficult to get apple files to other systems The best feature is you can auto sync to Dropbox folders This has become my goto app for iPad READ the helptxt file to learn more                 Read the Help File

I will say it took me a little time to figure it out but once I got it I love it I went to the dark side once and got the samsung galaxy 4s loved the keyboard and editing cursor but hated everything else So getting fast key on my iPhone makes me very happy                 Amazing I wish apple had these features

Finally I way to type subscript and superscript If I try to copy superscript numbers from the internet they normally just paste as regular numerals but this app has special subscript viewable on iOS I dont even care if this is only visible on iOS which it might not be                 Yes

I love this but there is one thing I wish it had The ability to replace every instance of one word with another word Like the replace in Notepad for PC              Needs something

Unfortunately the designers obviously dont need money as long as those cheesy ads are raking in the millions while trashing up the environment Too bad I give it 5 but with the addsdelete                 GOOD ENOUGH TO PAY FOR

I can take quick notes but I cant accomplish simple asks like underlining bolding etc My biggest problem is with Dropbox I cannot upload to Dropbox even though I authorize access This feature worked 6 months ago when I last used the program           Good but not great

It only works using that app cannot use it for anything else     Does work
