I m enjoying using this app injunction with the book It makes planning meals for this diet so easy You can make changes to the start date by editing your profile Once you select your meals you can choose to send to a grocery list You can also email the grocery list to who ever is doing the shopping The only complaint is that all of the meal recipes are not in the book You have to get the cookbook to have all the recipes that it refers to But if you ve decided to make a lifestyle change then you may as well get the cookbook also And it would be great to be able to add customized meals recipes that are not included in the app or cookbook Hope this helps to repair or stoke your metabolism                     Great App Tug snug
I love how much easier this app makes it to follow the plan That being said there are a few things that would significantly improve my opinion of the app 1 The ability to add your own recipes or to save a meal as a group or give a name to a meal Then you don t have to add the individual components every stinking time That gets old quickly 2 The ability to copy meals from one day or week to another             Powerful but some major functionality missing JyllboGaggins

I really find this app useful but after I planned everything out using my iPad because I have the cookbooks on my iPad kindle I could not sync to my iPhone so I had to take my iPad to the grocery or print or email the shopping list Neither is an optimal choice I also don t always carry my iPad so not getting reminders on my iPhone                 Works well but TR-3505

This app is very helpful to anybody following the FMD diet However esp because since it s a paid app it needs to be updated and maintained If you are following the free FMD group on Facebook there are numerous alerts of the inconveniences or inconsistencies on the app Please update the app For instance when making a fruit smoothie you should be able to pick two or more fruits in the fruit pull down not just one same for the other pull downs There should be a more convenient way to set the time of your meals The recipes should have active links Where is a listing for the nut milks in Phase 3 I was only able to find coconut milk Serving sizes should be noted when looking at the pull down not after you log it             Helpful BUT needs to stay updated Decadonna

For 3 this app needs some simple but essential updates It s helpful that is lists exactly the foods you can eat in each phase But it could use 1 a search button so you can type in the food you are looking for rather than having to scroll 2 it should say in the food lists how much you are supposed to eat 1 cup fruits etc rather than after you have completed the entry for each meal 3 there is no chart showing your weight loss progress Isn t that why we are doing this Again while this is a helpful app for the foods you re supposed to eat per phase and meal there are some serious shortcomings especially considering it s 3 It would help to take a look at some of the free apps my plate and my fitness pal for instance to make this app better I hope the developers update this app soon             Good but not great nishanne2012

Having recently started I opted to try the app rather than using paper to plan It is very helpful in creating a plan for the day despite its relative simplicity BUT as many have noted there are some simple fixes that are needed such as choosing your start date other than today which would make it far more user friendly MOST IMPORTANTLY in today s technology there is absolutely no reason it cannot be synched between a phone and iPad given one has to pay for it Please fix this             Helpful but Ykckby
This app saved me more times than I can count I love the water tracker it really kept me in line You could choose from individual foods to chart or pick meals from her recipe books One of the things I would change is being able to put your own recipes in so you could save your favorite meals The other thing is when you go to the day you are currently on you have to scroll through the days prior and that was annoying But otherwise it was all super helpful and I think its a must if you are going to be on the go at all during your 28 days              Super helpful
First the good The app definitely makes following the FMD easier I found the book and the way its laid out to be very confusing The app helps That being said it could use some improvement If it was a free app I would have no complaints Having spent for it on top of buying the book I expected a little more For example I find it very frustrating that weight can only be documented in whole lb increments particularly as I seem to be losing 5 at a time Its frustrating to have a success and not be able to record it Also reminders are OK to a point but I have an issue with it telling me my day is over and scolding me for not drinking enough water when my day is decidedly not over That needs to be removed from the app in my opinion Again frustrating to have worked hard to stay on plan all day and have your momentum cut short I know its a mind thing but staying motivated and focused is crucial for success           Good but could be better

I am on day 4 of this program and discovered the app yesterday I love it Its great to have a place to track my water and write down all my meals I like the push notifications because when I get busy at work it reminds me about water and meals I downloaded Yesterday at lunch and it totally got me through the afternoon I know it sounds silly but when I check my phone and it says dont forget water Thats nice Two things I wish it did a little better 1 I dont loose in whole pound increments It wont let me put a decimal Who looses in whole pound increments I want to track my half pound losses 2 I get that we arent about weighing our veggies here BUT if Im going to make a grocery list from my meals Id love to know the quantities of what I need to buy So maybe when we are doing our meal plan it would be nice to say 1 bell pepper or 1 cup That way we can export to the grocery list and have quantities Other than that this app is easy to use and fun I like the reminders from Haylee at the top and am happy to have paid 299 to continue an awesome program              Its almost perfect

Wonderful helper in the journey of discovering fast metabolism diet I wouldnt have done it without this app It makes it easy to pick food options schedule meals And once meals are chosen it sends you an email with a weekly shopping list Plus it reminds you to take water and meals Love this app                 Great app
I do not like this app at all Its hard to use and is very inflexible You cannot go directly to your daily food map without scrolling through the week You cant use half pound for your weight loss You cannot link it to your fitbit And worst of all you have to delete everything and start over after the initial diet is finished Its expensive too It should be free if youve bought the book My Fitness Pal is so much better     Horrible app Waste of

The set up is great in that it gives you all the phases and food lists but in phase III when it says to choose one healthy fat say you want mayo its says to eat 4 12 tbls It needs to give a bit more variety by say choosing two healthy fats in smaller quantities Also would like substitutes for hard to find ingredients           Useful app but needs some work

This is a pretty good app the ability to track your food activity and water us really helpful And having the grocery list is a great idea I was so excited about that part but it needs work The grocery list is CRUCIAL to making a diet workable in real life and this one needs a few tweaks to make it useful Right now the list generated by the app is organized first by food category for items you choose without a recipe and below that all the ingredients you need for each recipe you choose Listed by recipe I dont know any grocery stores that are arranged that way So I still have to go through this list and consolidate it by hand into a useful shopping list And therefore cant just shop with my list on my phone It would just take a few tweaks to the program to have the app consolidate and sort the shopping list for us Also when you fill in your meal plan by the day based on the meal map from the bookwebsite there are inconsistencies The app saying I need a fruit at a time when the book doesnt etc With these things fixed the app would be perfect           Shopping list needs work
I have many diet apps but this one is by far the best When I read the book my thoughts were oh geez I dont like many of these recipes Then I saw that Haylie has an app It is 299 but I got it anyway It is awesome because Im more of s freelance eater The phases are broken down and then lists the foods you can chose from So I select a protein then it has me select a veggie then a fruit It brings up a list of the items to chose from and how much you are allowed to eat This has simplified this entire program for me I love it and will tell ALL my friends Thanks Haylie                 Awesome App
A lot of things in the app dont match the book so theres cause for confusion Also in the food list it lets you customize it but then doesnt reflect your changes when you create and record your meals I personally think hot 299 she also could have included the recipes in her book and the app but instead went the greedy route forcing you into the position of feeling like you need to buy the convenience of the recipe book to be successful on this diet Also I have emailed customer service twice and havent heard back from them        Needs work feels unfinished

I agree with a previous review great app but since we paid for it it should be updated frequently There are foods missing from the food list we need to be able to record weight in 12 pound increments I would also like to be able to add my own foods I create so I dont have to choose each ingredient that goes into it I would like to add Meatballs to my master food list              Please update food list

I started the diet without the app carrying lists around setting timers so Id remember when to eatI made a lot of mistakes and was a bit frustrated with the complexity I decided to try out the app and Im so glad I did Knowing exactly what Im supposed to be eating how much of each thing and when is really making this diet work for me Id say it may need some additions if youre someone that needs your hand held at every step of each day but if you just need a little assistance staying on track this is 100 worth the 3 Just a note about the diet Haley reminds you that you need to do the Phase Specific exercise she means it This has been my challenge but the week that I finally got the weight lifting in is the week I really made progress I cant believe how much food Im eating but I feel healthy and happy and am delighted to be dropping the weight that just wouldnt leave me              SO helpful for the FMD

The most helpful part is the food list for each phase and maybe the water tracking Would be much more helpful if you could choose any one food from the food lists and add it to you grocery list instead of having to remember and type it all in A restaurant menu would be awesome I know we should be cooking at home ideally but lets be real Itd be nice to have a lunch date and have a quick reference of options           Cool but it could be better
You are allowed to split protein and fat if your chicken portion is 4 oz and beans is 12 c you are allowed to have 2 oz chicken with 14 c beans but app wont let you split portions Incorrect and conflicting information My app says p3 breakfast protein is optional Some other peoples app says it is required Updates are not frequent You always default to Monday so have to keep scrolling through all the days sounds like no big deal until you realize you use the app each day many times to add each cup of water each meal each snack planning meals and snacks exercise etc App only for iPhone and I pad but they do not sync and to get i pad app you have to google to find it it does not come up Can not update on line Exercise There is a place to list it but not how long you exercised Weight can only list in whole pounds     Slightly better than nothing
I didnt purchase Haylie Pomroys best selling book but it turns outyou may not have to The Fast Metabolism Diet App supports Pomroys book But after a careful study of the menu options and you can begin losing weight almost immediately But you may want to do some shopping and planning before launching into to 1 Shop for food items before you start the plan The second day starts the highprotein portion of the diet and that means planning for anyone 2 Prepare your mails in advance If youre working during the day it may prove very challenging to do this diet Thats mainly because the menu items are very specific and must be eaten at stated times 3 Substitute approved bars or powder in emergencies 4 Physical exercise is an essential part of this diet but the type of exercise isnt spelled out 5 Vegetarians are in for a big challenge especially during the second phase For some this might be a dealbreaker An app like this is only as good as your willingness to make use of the information If you follow the instructions religiously you will lose weight and quickly                 Outstanding app for the Fast Metabolism diet

Dont waste your money Wife bought book With all the details in meals thought this would be a good companion especially when I read this compiled a grocery list WRONG 1 If you try to input the menus from the book this generates different serving amounts 2 Some recipes from the book stuffed mushrooms are not listed and others leave you with a warning the meal isnt complete 3 The grocery list is a joke I expected it to combine all like items into a single line item Instead it simply lists each recipe breakdown you still have to sort it all and combine like items yourself You would think that if you are tying it to a book someone would have tried to input what the book has into the program     Doesnt tie to book

This is an awesome application a fantastic tool for the Fast Metabolism Diet You can create meal maps repeat them week to week and adapt them And the food lists are great they specify which foods can be eaten in which phase And when you are on the meal maps you can push the grocery cart icon and it will come up with a grocery list for the items and recipes chosen It gives you reminders to drink water and lets you know if you planned your meals too far apart which foods are required or optional It is definitely an amazing accompaniment to the program The program itself is awesome I have already taken off 8 pounds in less than 2 weeks and I feel great The app is well worth the mere 299                 Well worth the cost

Being able to map your day is a definite plus and having the food list to choose from is helpful That said this app is so buggy It may be designed for a bigger screen but theres no way to add water on my iPhone because it is hidden behind the menu bar This is not a free app so I expect it to work efficiently So its just okay You can do as well ding the printable worksheets at this point I dont have time to fight with the app        Fair
I like that this keeps me organized and then I can just repeat weeks however in order for this app to really be successful you need to be able to access the recipes by clicking on the food this could be done with a code you receive when you buy the book it drives me crazy That I have to bounce back and forth to know what I am eating and the recipe to make it also to add your own recipes would be amazing since after a few months on this diet I finding I would like to branch out to new recipes but then I cant put those recipes on my schedule or grocery list           Pretty good app
